Description: The M-HNRE is a standard issue field ration that has been formulated for the needs of infantry in the field. Consisting of a Main Meal, Side Item, Desert and Pleasantry Component. The over all static for the M-HNRE is developed around providing adequate calories for one soldier for a single day. The Complete meal has 2200 hundred calories and provides between 70 to 80% of the vitamins, protein, and minerals that a human requires to stay active.
The H-HNRE weights approximately half a kilogram and is compact in order to save space on a soldiers back pack for additional supplies. Included in the Pleasantries kit is hot sauce, salt, stim caf, sugar, laxative ( The high caloric volume, preserving methods and additives can cause minor bloating and constipation) toilet paper, matches and a bottle of plant based flavoring sauce ( Ketchup), Water treatment capsules ( 1 Liter, Warning 1 Liter of water should be consumed with meal to aid digestion).
Taste was a consideration taken into effect during the design feature and each meal is flavored in over one of a dozen flavors. Why the M-HNRE will keep a fighting force going almost indefinitly with the proper stock it is advised to try to add at least one hot or cold ration to finish the nutrition intake and to prevent loss of morale, severe constipation and moodiness.
