PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Lyra is a striking young woman in her early twenties, with shoulder-length, dark violet hair that frames her face in loose, tousled waves. Her most captivating feature is her piercing violet eyes, vibrant and intense, hinting at a depth of emotion and experience far beyond her years. She has a lean, athletic build, her toned arms and defined core reflecting a life spent on the move, whether running cargo or flying starfighters. Her attire blends practicality and roguish flair: a fitted black crop top beneath a dark leather vest, paired with rugged utility pants strapped with belts and holsters. A long, sleeveless duster coat flows behind her, well-worn but unmistakably hers. Fingerless gloves, a simple pendant necklace, and a blaster holstered at her side complete the look.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Lyra carries herself with an easygoing charm that masks the weight of everything she's endured. Quick with a grin or a teasing remark, she uses humor as both a shield and a way to connect with those around her. There's a fire in her spirit independent, stubborn, and fiercely self-reliant but beneath that bravado is someone who feels things deeply and carries her guilt quietly. She's loyal to a fault, especially to those who've earned her trust, but she's slow to offer it freely. Years in the smuggling trade taught her to read people, to trust instinct over authority, she's never quite at ease in rigid structures. She's got a reckless streak, a hunger for freedom, and a tendency to leap before she looks, but when it counts when lives are on the line Lyra shows the depth of her heart, putting herself in danger without hesitation if it means protecting others.

STRENGTHS

  • Ace Pilot:
She can fly circles around most, especially in tight spots. Smuggler tricks make her unpredictable in dogfights.
  • Silver Tongue:
Negotiation, bluffing, or charming someone over Lyra's words are as sharp as her flying.
  • Mechanic's Know-How:
Years in the smuggling world taught her how to keep a ship flying on spit and hope. She can fix what she flies.
  • Instinctive Combat Sense:
Prefers to avoid fights but can handle herself in a scrap or blaster fight, using agility over brute strength.

WEAKNESSES

  • Authority Issues:
Doesn't always mesh well with rigid command structures or rules, which can get her into trouble.
  • Reckless Streak:
Takes chances others wouldn't, especially when she feels boxed in or when lives are on the line.
  • Haunted Past:
Struggles with guilt over some of her past smuggling jobs, making her vulnerable to manipulation by those who know her history.
  • Not a Formal Combatant:
While scrappy, she lacks formal martial training. In prolonged blaster fights or against trained soldiers, she can be outmatched.

INVENTORY

  • None Currently

HISTORY

Lyra was born and raised on Naboo in the shadow of the galaxy's unrest, just years before the First Cataclysm tore through the planet. The daughter of a mechanic and trader, she spent her early life around the starports of Theed, fascinated by the ships and the freedom they promised. But at seventeen, that freedom turned to survival when the skies above Naboo split open and the Unmaker's horrors swept through the streets. Lyra lost her family in the chaos and narrowly escaped Theed's fall, forced into a life of scavenging and bartering to endure in the ruins left behind.

In the years that followed, Lyra drifted further from home, falling in with smugglers and traders operating in the lawless regions left in the wake of the Confederacy's collapse. She built a reputation as a skilled pilot and mechanic, smuggling goods across the Outer Rim. Yet, no matter how far she traveled, Naboo's scars lingered with her. When the Memorial Day Attack devastated her homeworld once again with the release of the Pazhkic'Dau bioweapon, killing many including those unknowingly connected to the Force Lyra felt the weight of being away, unable to help.

Despite the guilt, it wasn't until the Second Cataclysm struck Naboo during the planet's rebirth that Lyra returned. Trapped in orbit as Netherworld forces invaded again, she fought back alongside Naboo's defenders, using her freighter's weapons and skills to aid in evacuation efforts. Her courage didn't go unnoticed, and she was offered a chance to redeem herself by joining the Royal Naboo Starfighter Corps. Trading her smuggler's life for a pilot's seat, Lyra now serves as a protector of the space lanes she once skirted, determined to ensure Naboo is never abandoned again. While her past follows her like a shadow, and not all trust her completely, Lyra's commitment to her people and her home is unwavering. She stands as a symbol of resilience shaped by loss, tempered by experience, and driven by a fierce will to fight for the world that shaped her.
