Lyann Nadnia is a teenage Jedi Padawan, living on Coruscant.
Born to a pair of Mirialan immigrants on Coruscant, Lyann was the youngest and of three children. Growing up in relative comfort on Coruscant immersed her in a diverse and metropolitan culture, at odds with the usual, traditional ways of the Mirialans that her parents followed. Lyann showed no great promise in school, aside from some skill in gymnastics and a worrying proficiency for mathematics. As the youngest child, her older siblings looked down on her. In response, Lyann became ruder, bossier and brasher as she went through her adolescence.
Part way into her teen years, Lyann's Force sensitivity was discovered. In agreement with her parents, Lyann was sent to train with the New Jedi Order to help develop her skills in a safe manner. Her parents hoped that she'd be able to use her gift for the betterment of others, rather than as just a cheap trick at sleepover and parties.
Loud, overly-confident and determined, Lyann has a very firm and certain belief in how things should be. If people disagree, then she's willing to calmly explain to them exactly how wrong they are and why they should just shut up and listen to her. Posessed with the kind of certainty and self-importance that only a teenager can have, Lyann is ready to take on the Galaxy to make it better. Whether it wants to, or not.
