Lurking in the sands.

An oasis, that close to the crash site, Nova was slightly angry at herself for not checking around,
It didn't phase her much though as Serenna seemed to be happy with the find.
"How common are these things do you know?"
Nova wondered if this desert was any different to the others she had explored.

"Based on our initial scans we have several across the desert." She said it with a look on her face getting closer as the drone moved about taking scans and sending them to the ship. Serenna stood there under the shade of a tree with a smile on her face. "There is shade and oh the water looks fresh." THe smile remained before she went to the sand sitting down and holding some of the cool water in her hand. Cuping it and taking it to her lips so she could take a cooler sip. Fruits could be seen fallen into the water when she grabbed a piece that had been growing and it was over ripe but not bad when she started opening it.

Nova didn't speak, she watched Serenna, and admired her, she just enjoyed seeing her happy. It was a good feeling and Nova wasn't even focused on the oasis anymore, she was just watching, hoping Serenna wouldn't find it creepy but she was watching every emotion and every action, the smile on her face after finding the shade was amazing. Quickly Nova snapped out of this not wanting to put Serenna on alert of herself.

Serenna sat there in the sand and removed her boots and socks. Letting her toes curl int he waters while she was looking at Nova for a moment. "What are you thinking about." She was curious about it when she needed to do. She wanted to try and see if Nova could feel the force but there was no real easy way to go about it when she patted the sand next to her looking out into the water. Fruit half in her hand that she offered. "Come here, I want to sit with you." The chiss woman shook her thicker hair out so it was behind her, free hand touching the sand before her toes were in the water just barely. "Oh this is comfortable and feels great."

Nova accepted the offer and removed her boots and socks underneath, resting them in the shade, then walking over to Serenna she said "I'm thinking of lots of different things, just a lot on my mind really."
She sat down next to Serenna and put her feet in the water, it was cool and relaxing, much like Serenna's overall tone, just liquid based, she smiled at the silly thought and kept thinking about her feelings.

SHe looked at her as she sat down and relaxed a little more. "Alright so I did want to talk about something with you. Last night when you were asleep I could feel something inside of you. THe barest ember but it just needs to be fanned." She said it and was looking at her while she held her hand up palm up and opened. The remains fo the fruit there. "I want you to reach out, close your eyes and clear your mind. Let yourself feel everything, from me here next to you, to the sand then the waters... then further. Feel the world and everything in between." Serenna said it and if the woman was able to touch the force then it would be something and if not well then they might just get to laugh about this.

Nova was confused by these instructions,
"You better not be messing with me, you sound kinda crazy right now...."
Regardless Nova trusted her friend, meaning she was willing to try this, no matter how strange it sounded.
She sat down cross legged and closed her eyes, she began to clear her thoughts and it calmed her not having a lot on her mind, then she tried reaching out as instructed, it was odd, she could definitely feel something, it was almost like she could sense the movements of the trees slowly swaying, and the small ripples of water. Not sure what she was trying to achieve, eyes opening and lying back on the grass she mutters,
"I don't know what you wanted me to do, it just kinda felt weird"

Serenna looked at her and watched.. mostly working to pick it out and her senses were going as deep as she could. Not to manipulate but she wanted to try and feel it as there... a small moment. A flicker that could have been a spark but it was still far to raw. When Nova opened her eyes and spoke leaning back she did much the same and just placed a hand on her shoulder. "it is alright, I saw what I needed to see and have some idea of what might lay ahead." SHe was thinking about it and just laid there for a moment letting the water and sand lap at her feet. Relaxing even more. "THere is something inside of you, the force... btu I do not know if you would want it."

"Woah, woah, woah, me? the force? sorry but surely you're wrong about that, isn't it like some insanely powerful thing that can move mountains and stuff? I'd know if I could do that." Stuttered Nova,
The shocked expression bared on the face of Nova spoke more than her words ever could, she honestly couldn't believe that this was true, as much as she'd love to wield such a power she doubted it would be inside of her, it just wasn't possible.

She laughe d alittle as that, the sound almost like silver bells before speaking and looking up from her shoulder. Leaning on it. "It can for some, for others it can be a whisper, a spark that changes their lives. Builds on their instincts, makes them a little faster a little stronger." She smiled looking at Nova and ofering her free hand when she turned over just enough to really be on her side tapping her hand and arm. "All living being have a connection to it Nova, it surrounds us, it penetrates us, it binds the galaxy together and it is within you. Faint, a small spark that could become something massive and powerful with enough training. I know you felt it if even for a moment."

Nova grabbed the offered hand, it felt nice whenever the two came into contact,
"I guess I did feel something, it was weird, but was that really the force?"
Her eyes shimmered with excitement as this brought a whole new prospect to her life, a whole new adventure, she was so glad to be here right now, learning more about herself,
"What do I do next then?"

Serenna looked at her hand and rubbed along the length of her fingers. "Well you get to make a choice, when we leave here... or even here on this planet we can explore this. Explore the force together, I might not be the best, the strongest or the fastest among the jedi but I do have my own skills and I can teach you to feel the force." She looked at her offering a smile though and there was something... something when they were like this. A bond maybe, she had studied force bonds they could exist and be created between two force users, between family or master and padawan. The potential of them was unable to really be calculated as each bond became different over time. Serenna spoke though. "Or we can continue as we are and we don't have to talk about the force or changing your life like this. It ins't for everyone."

"I want this."
The certainty in Novas voice was obvious, it was clear she wanted to learn the ways of the force, even though the whole concept was completely alien to her, it was an exciting prospect to delve into,
"But first let's focus on getting back to a ship."
Nova sprung up and put on her socks and boots, she was ready for adventure.

"ALright then." She said it and suddenly Nova was springing up practically and she roled over to the side. It had been so calm and relaxing she had almost forgotten their main goal... getting to the ship as she rose and left her shoes and socks off. She loved the idea of walking with just her feet and even in the desert she knew what she would be able to do. "Come on then, lets go and have some fun." She was heading and the trek from here to the ship would be another two days of travel and sleep but eventually the area where she had landed with the personal assistant droids were around. They had been waiting and keeping things maintained as Serenna approached. "We are here."

"That wasn't too bad, only a couple of days, it was nice"
Nova looked at the ship, finally a way out, and she was sad to know, it looked a lot better than hers used to, and then there was droids, strange little things, Nova had always admired them because of the technical wisdom disposed inside of them,
"Well, what now?"

Serenna looked at Nova as the ramp was coming down. The Saotome Yacht was well impressive to many it was one of the more popular jedi vessels in terms of personal ships. She ascended the ramp though and held out her arms. "Now we get off of the planet." The look she was giving until she motioned for her. "Come on, we can go." The jedi master was getting into the ship so they would be able to go around to really head out. "There are rooms for several people and pelnty of space. We should be more then able to spend time and training around the galaxy." She grinned going into the cockpit and turnign on the navigational computer to set a new course. "Well captain take her up."

Nova hopped into the captains seat with no hesitation, she was a small bit upset that she wouldn't feel the comfort of sleeping with Seranna again due to the size of the ship, but she was still in awe of the whole thing, so many new buttons to press, alongside the buttons she knew to re-press,
"Where to then, surely there's somewhere you want to go?"
Nova couldn't hold back her grin as she beamed at her new found friend.

She was looking at her and sittign there in the co-pilot seat the jedi master spoke moving her hand to touch Nova's on the rest. "Well anywhere with you might be a little too cliche Nova but really anywhere we want to explore." There was a look on her face before she was turning over charts in the navigational computer and there was the uknown regions but there was also more... the silver jedi had worked hard to get all of this information with mapping tech and ships. So she was setting a course for them to head towards the forest. Kashyyyk with the silver rest but there was also the stations there they could refuel and get a chance to breathe.

"I guess we're off then, I'm really glad we met y'know"
Nova started pressing a mixture of buttons, she was so used to taking off in her old ship but the controls were in different positions so it took a minute to get adjusted,
"This is definitely the start of something bigger"
The ship whirred to life as Nova prepared the take off,
"Here we go, sit tight!"

Serenna gave a nod of her head finishing up here she would have to start on a report... the things she had felt and seen.. the things that she was feeling here... With Nova she would have to note her but how to describe the chiss pilot... brave, strong, funny a little bit of a looker with force potential. THe chiss jedi master checked out a few of the other things on the controls as they had been setting the course. "I am glad as well... this si the start fo soemthing I can tell and alright." She said it as the ship was heading out of the atmosphere then into space and clearing the gravity well was jumping towards Kashyyyk.
