Whenever the blade connects with a target, organic or otherwise, it's edge will cut true and deep. Each slash of the blade will add more pain to its target with each consecutive slash. This ability, however, is powered through the use of the force, specifically the darkside. The user must purposely devote a large concentration of their force power into the weapon to allow it to do such a thing and they must keep themselves concentrated on pouring in their force energy into the weapon for such a thing to continue consistency. Such an attribute can easily weaken a force user and make them possibly drowsy and slower in their overall response time as a whole.

Unique Features
- | The Essence of Blood | - During the process of creating the blade, a sacrifice of blood was given into both the forging of the weapon and the process of alchemically altering and enhancing the blade. It had to be the blood of the male Gurlanin, Kaine, of course. It was his weapon after all. The sacrifice of blood given to enchant the blade allowed the blade to form an almost corporeal, almost even spiritual bond between the Gurlanin and the weapon. This bonding of the two allowed for the blade to always remain Kaine's and nobody else's. Only Kaine can wield his blade due to the blood-bond the two share. If any other being were to try and operate and use the blade, the weapon would lash out at the opposing presence that wasn't it's master. If another being were to try and use the blade, a feeling of striking, unimaginable pain would strike through the being. When another being tries to hold the weapon, it's weight will increase by a factor of tenfold, making the weapon weigh in at 65 kilograms or ~143 lbs.
- | The Essence of Spirit | - The bonding of the blood of Kaine O'Doran and the blade helped to connect the two not only on a physical basis but also on a spiritual basis. This spiritual connection allows for the attribution of a unique ability to take hold of the blade. The blade, whether in its sword form or it's hybrid kusarigama-whip form, can be called to the user's grasp at will. The individual would merely need to hold out their hand and silently call out to the blade for it to fly to their grasp through some unknown combination of the force and sith alchemy. The weapon, however, has a limited range from which it can come back to the user.

The usefulness of armor was a thing for naught when no offense instruments were brought to help oneself. A powerful defensive stronghold could be upheld through sheer determination of strength and endurance, and yet, it was for naught. It was for naught without any form of offensive and harmful capabilities. It was just a stalwart wall of stone that could do nothing. A castle wall without archers, without a tower, without a means to protect itself from outside threats that it knew not of. That it would never know of any more. A weapon was needed, not a weapon of plasma but something solid, something tangible. A sith sword was needed. The creation of a sith sword for Kaine was a thing that he had to think over. He knew not about how to use sith alchemy to enhance objects and give them unique attributes. And, he didn't favor the improper and poor usage of the force for such an insulting and grossly disturbing task in regards to alchemy, let alone offense and defense. But he knew, in the end, he would have to go against his own morals and his own cultural norms and customs to better protect himself. He no longer was hunting with only his wits and his body as he had been on his home of Qillura.
The blade in it of itself is of a unique nature. It copies, in theory at least, the design of one of the First Order's Praetorian Guard's weapons. The bilari electro-chain whip to be specific. The weapon can change forms from a powerful and sturdy sword into the form of a chain kusarigama. The kusarigama can take two forms, one of which is the more traditional form of a weight connected via a chain to a sickle and the other being two sickles connected via the use of a chain. The secondary sickle can be created through the use of the weight being transformed and fully folded outwards into a weaker, albeit, secondary sickle weapon.
To transform itself is a relatively simple process. The user needs only press two buttons simultaneously on the bottom of the sword handle to loosen it's metal plates and frame to allows it to transform. Once the buttons are pressed, the singular sword blade will slide down and outwards into the form of a sickle, utilizing half of the original sword's handle as a handle for the sickle. From there, an interior chain is revealed that is a combination of songsteel with plasma currents running through it and normal, songsteel chains to act as an exterior frame and holder for the current tubes. For the blade to transform back into the blade form, the kusarigama must manually be altered by the force along with a button press to help the sickles and weight to fold onto one another to form a sword.
