  • Canon: No.
  • Permissions: n/a
  • Links: Acquisition | Cloud City
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Luc's Cloud City Safehouse
  • Classification: Apartment/Loft
  • Location: | Cloud City, Level 86
  • Affiliation: Lucien Dooku
  • Accessibility: A modest apartment located in the upscale levels of Cloud city, the location naturally makes it a bit more safe and secure from the seedier elements on the lower levels.
  • Description: Luc's apartment is pretty modest in spite of being located in an area that's predominantly filled with more extravagantly-designed residences. It has three floors and an open design scheme, with the first floor consisting of the living room, a small kitchen area and a guest bathroom. The second floor is his living quarters, which is more compact than the first, and has a smaller bathroom than the first floor bathroom. The third floor is more akin to a loft, and since acquiring the apartment it's been converted into a training and exercise room for Luc to use. All three floors are connected by a turbolift, although Luc is also able to move from the second to third floor via a ladder that hangs just above his sleeping quarters.
POINTS OF INTEREST

  • Scentwood desk with an ergonomic chair, a gaming computer and television suite mounted above on the wall.
  • Secondary half-bathroom
Third Floor
  • Loft area that's been converted into a training room. Soundproofed walls, training mats on the floor and various pieces of equipment and training droids line the wall.

SECURITY
Security for the apartment is rated at Medium. Access to the apartment itself is limited to whoever possesses the keycard, and the turbolifts connecting his section to the rest of the level are also connected to his keycard as well. There are cameras scattered around the section and a pair of guards that patrol the area too. Aside from these relatively basic measures, Luc keeps a pair of blasters and a few cheap vibrodaggers hidden around the premises as well. Luc's also well acquainted to a crimelord or two with connections around Cloud city and has arranged for his apartment to be maintained and guarded whenever he's off-world.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The apartment entered his ownership following a high-stakes Sabacc down in his favorite cantina on the lower levels of Cloud city. It's original owner was a local spacer, and prior to coming into Luc's possession, it was filled to the brim with trash and debris thanks to a lack of maintenance from the unkempt spacer who originally purchased it. It's actually Luc's first apartment ever, as prior to coming to Cloud City he'd never been in a position to own a piece of property on his own. Because the apartment was acquired through a sabacc game and not through purchasing it directly, Luc was able to direct his credits entirely furnishing it and renovating the floors to his liking. Luckily for him, the connections he made with some of Cloud city's crimelords made the process of renovation easier to accomplish, as the importation of the more luxurious items and materials were easily acquired through less legitimate means, and at a lower price to boot. He's still a spacer in spite of now having a permanent place to lay his head on Cloud city, and his various occupations -- and his wanderlust more importantly -- do find him off-world more often than not, but now he at least has a place to call his home away from space, and most importantly a safe house if ever he needs to lay low.
