The Biograpghy
Lucindra Drahl was raised beneath the quiet skies of Morvayne, far removed from the grand halls of military command and the cold machinery of imperial politics. The daughter of a humble farming family, she spent her childhood among fields and agricultural machinery, learning the unforgiving disciplines of patience, labor, and responsibility from those who worked the soil.
Life on the farm offered little luxury, but it taught Lucindra that survival was rarely granted; it was earned through endurance and preparation. She developed an early fascination with the wider workings of the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, listening to travelers and local officials speak of the Army and its campaigns beyond Morvayne.
By the time she reached eighteen, the farm had taught her everything it could, and Lucindra departed her family's fields to enter the Mahporeem Imperial Logistics and War College, determined to exchange the plow for a commander's commission.
At the College, Lucindra proved that her ambitions were considerably larger than the quiet world from which she had come. She distinguished herself in military logistics, battlefield command, strategy, administration, and imperial doctrine, ultimately graduating at the head of her class. Her academic success accelerated her military career, carrying her through successive commands until she earned the rank of Captain in the Mahporeem Imperial Army.
Yet Lucindra viewed the uniform not as the destination, but as the foundation of something greater. She possessed a growing desire to enter politics as well as military service, believing that true power belonged not merely to those who commanded soldiers, but to those who shaped the policies that determined where those soldiers marched.
To Lucindra, a military career would give her authority over the battlefield; a political career would give her influence over the world that existed beyond it, and she intended to possess both.
