Strengths:
  • Speed: The LT-6 Blitz Light tank is fast, very fast for a tank. It relies on hit-and-run tactics, recon, and scouting to get the job done. It makes a nice compliment to go ahead of heavier tanks as a scout, or a great hunter for street-to-street urban warfare. Its maneuverability also makes the LT-6 almost handle like a speeder with rapid strafing, full mobility, and wicked great agility.
  • Sheilds: The LT-6 has shielding, no small feat for a tank of its size. These ray and deflector shields offer a first line of defense before the LT-6 starts to take actual damage.
  • Vehicle combat: The LT-6 is designed for vehicle and anti-infantry combat. The main gun, a phase pulse cannon, is able to wreak havoc on speeders and tanks alike. The flechette repeater is able to send out damage en mass against any infantry troops who try to get close.

Weaknesses:
  • Range: Most of RMIA’s tanks are known for their long range capacity. However, the LT-6 is not designed for that. While the Hellstorm can shoot accurately up to 2-3 miles out, anything past half a mile for the LT-6 is a carpet bomb. Anything outside of 1 mile is outside of its range.
  • Passengers: Most tanks could use a compliment of soldiers just in case things get rough, but the LT-6 doesn’t have that. It is a quick unit, lacking any passenger capacity. Theoretically someone could ride on the top, but if the LT-6 reaches max speed, they would probably just fall off.
  • Anti-aircraft: The LT-6 has 1 dedicated AA launch tube for fighting off assaults from above with 3 missiles. Once those three onboard missiles are used up, LT-6 has to rely on its own maneuverability and other tanks to keep it alive.
  • Shielding: While the ray and molecular shields are great, the power they require is exhaustive. The LT-6 doesn’t have the ability to both move and power its shields to engage them, it has to remain stationary.

Description:
Ardgal realized a severe lack in his military forces. Traditionally, RMIA has relied on force, punching power, and literally destroying their enemies with pure power in the past to get things done--however, virtually all of their tanks are ponderous in nature. There was a need for something that could move quickly, but still pack a large enough punch to scout ahead and still deal out extra damage. Thus the LT-6 was born.

The LT-6 was stripped down with lighter armor and faster engines and no passenger compartments. The tank is little more than an armored engine, gun, and, sensors encased in quadranium steel.

All in all, it is just a fast tank.
