Description

The LS7 is a slugthrower specifically designed by the Freelancer for both effectiveness and convenience. While most are not strong enough to be running around with several heavy weapons on their belt the freelancer decided to manufacture his own hybrid of weaponry. Taking a sniper rifle, and dismantling it and exploring it's components did not take long. Soon, the Freelancer was able to take an ordinary bolt action sniper rifle, and alter it enough to the point were it's entire shape could be morphed with a few simple hand motions and turned into an even more powerful shotgun. Sniper rifles, by nature. Are deadly at long range, and even deadlier when used in close range, and while keeping this thought in mind along the development behind the LS7 the freelancer created one hell of a weapon. Capable of holding several types of ammunition and easily adjustable. The LS7 when as a sniper rifle brags the ability to fire a slut at extremely high velocities, capable of penetrating over two inches of durasteel from a fair distance with ease. But alas, unlike most weapons. This IS still a slugthrower, and a slugthrower is only as useful as its counter part the blaster that uses a cell battery instead. And this is were the first weaknesses begin to show. While power cells allow a blaster to fire off hundreds of rounds with little issue, the LS7 requires the user to carry around physical ammunition.

When altering the snipers form into a shotgun, it is a fairly simple process. With the press of a few buttons the sniper rifle unlocks some of its parts, allowing for the long barrel to be pulled back into the rifle and the outside exterior to shut around him. By removing the scope by twisting it, turning it over and slapping it into the bottom of the rifle, the pump is then created. The stock is then adjustable were the piece connecting to the handle can be pushed up into the rest of the stock and locked there, allowing for the sniper rifle to take the general form of a shotgun. By taking the bolt that one would normally pull back to reload, it must be pushed forward, and locked into place, forcing the barrel to become loose and removable, by taking out one barrel and locking it onto the side of the gun while putting in the other. While the initial range decreases dramatically. Another downfall is that the gun uses two different types of ammo depending on the type of barrel being used.

I'm not the world's biggest gun nut, so I just went to YouTube and watched a 50 cal armor piercing round fail to get through 3/4" steel. Trim this plz.
