APPEARANCE: Loutaro is a young man who wears the robes and dressings of a Jedi Padawan. He takes great pleasure and meaning in making sure his robes are cleaned, steamed, and pressed. It would be unwise and unbecoming if he did not. A young brown skinned man, Lou tries his best to keep a smile on his face and tune in his heart despite the craziness of the Galaxy.
Biography
Loutaro had a very kind childhood. He had a mother who loved him. A father who gave him life advice. Siblings who challenged him. Lautaro had a life that was good. His mother and father were both hard working honest people who gave everything they could to make sure Lou and his siblings had a life better than their own. They were men and women who worked the land on a backwater no name planet within the High Republic. For years Lou dreamed of inheriting his family's farm and being the one to take up the next generation of his family's business alongside his older brother Hector. However life had other plans for him.
It was his seventeenth birthday when a piece of farming equipment crushed his father's leg and pinned him beneath it. With nobody around to help, Loutaro tried his hardest to lift the machine but nothing worked. It wasn't until his sister returned unable to find help that Lou lashed out in a frenzy of emotions and panic that the force flowed through him and lifted the tractor off of his father. With confusion and relief flooding him he went to help his father to get him help. It was too late. The machine had severed his artery and his father Diego died in his arms. His last words being nothing but love and pride for his son and a promise for him to use his gifts for good.
Months of grieving and work later, Loutaro had met with representatives of the Jedi Order and he was inducted into the order. Since that day he has spent the last year and a half as a Padawan of the order. He isn't sure what his place is here or how he will be a Jedi, but he had always heard the Jedi were the ones who brought peace and good to the Galaxy. He wanted to be like them, he wanted to honor his father's final wish and he even heard that the Jedi had a farming program. So perhaps there was something there he could do. Regardless Lou seeks the knowledge and power to help make life better for people.
