Lothal Clash

501st First Order Stormtrooper Company - Kalast's Fist - has been tasked with several scouting missions across the southern rim of the galaxy. Now Lothal has a rich Imperial heritage, but I also have been informed that the Jedi Order is operating there.

Thought the First Order's 501st and Ren can get into a tussle with Jedi Order or GA while scouting Lothal, or doing some sort of operation there. Keep in mind not a Skirmish thread, more like a plot thread with some fighting.

I'm building a temple on Lothal for the Jedi, and Spaarti Creations has a vested interest in the planet. So it's safe to say there's going to be a lot of people on that planet who want to do violence to the 501st [member="Keira Ticon"]

Don't forget this is not GR space or a GR planet. It's an independent world that the Jedi Order are looking to recover an old Temple on.

Seeing as Lothal is the HQ for the Jedi Order you should have no problems finding a small army of jedi there. But a secret one.... schhhh...

I'll have an OP for this thread soon. General premise is First Order's Ren along with 501st are on a scouting mission, running on intel from old Imperial records bought off of the black market that there is an old Jedi Temple on Lothal (one you see in SW Rebels). So Ricochet and her Kalast's Fist are assigned a special recon-in-force to the world with Ren Knights as operation lead. We can move from there. They are going to go in quiet by the way, this isn't a planetary assault - so some delay in exploration and detection should happen - also this isn't a skirmish thread by the way. I'd like this to be like one of the expanded universe novels - a opener to a grander plot hopefully in the future between the First Order, GA and GR.

Edit. Upon discussion with [member="Corvus Raaf"].

Instead of the main Lothal temple we see in SW Rebels. We will instead focus it on a ruined jedi complex on the other side of the planet. So as not to step on any plot toes the Jedi Order have been working on here.

Got it! We aren't expecting anyone besides local government to have a presence on the planet. Ricochet only knows of some ruins that the Ren are interested in.
