APPEARANCE:
Lor is a man of tall stature and narrow build; his posture resembles that of a man with far fewer years on his shoulders, and his expression tends to be peaceful, almost amused. His gray hair is cut short and combed back from his face; he tends to remain clean-shaven, given a choice. Since leaving the Jedi Order, he has abandoned the robes of a Master for simpler, more rugged garb, better suited to work and maintenance.
BIOGRAPHY:
Lor was born on something of a backwater world in the Outer Rim, under the jurisdiction of the Republic. At a young age, he was found to be sensitive to the mysterious energy of the Force, and was taken in by the Jedi to be trained. At the age of sixteen, Lor was apprenticed to a Jedi Master, and his training would continue for another eight years. In that time, he constructed his first (and current) lightsaber.
At the age of 24, Lor passed the trials required to become a Jedi Knight, and graduated from his apprenticeship. He endeavored to remain on good terms with his previous Master; however, his newly-independent status, combined with a few divergent ideas, led to a gulf gradually growing between the two. By the time Lor was made a Master (at age forty), he hadn't spoken to his former Master (outside of pleasantries) in three years.
Due to his outspoken nature and radical philosophy, Lor became something of a pariah in later years. Eventually, fed up with the Order, Lor left, apparently destroying his lightsaber (though he kept the Kyber Crystal, and eventually recreated the weapon). At age 45, he procured a starship and left the core systems, eking out a living anywhere he could find honest work, though he was usually fired within a few months due to being a cantankerous old man who never really warmed up to others, no matter how well-meaning he might have been. He rapidly tired of this cycle and moved on to bounty hunting, a career that he adapted to much better than he likes to admit.
Ever since splitting from the Jedi Order, Lor has attempted to develop a method of opening oneself to the Force without becoming immersed in it, thus gaining the enhanced senses and precognitive abilities associated such contact without broadcasting one's identity as a force-user to any and every Force-sensitive being in the area. As of yet, he has made little progress.

- Experienced Jedi: Lor has the benefit of a lifetime's training in the Force. Though he may not be superior when it comes to brute strength, he understands the properties of the Force, and possesses precise and steady control over it. Additionally, Lor is highly skilled in Form VI, and is proficient in Forms I, II, and III. He is also capable of wielding two lightsabers at once, a skill he learned at his Master's insistence, but has only ever owned a single blade.
- Combat Adept: Lor is proficient with conventional weapons such as blasters and vibroblades.
- Wisdom of Age: Lor has the benefit of hindsight and a few years under his belt. He tends to be highly observant.
- Past his Prime: Unfortunately, the human body at age 50 just isn't what it used to be. Lor can't move as quickly as he did twenty years ago, and often has to deal with aches and stiffness due to his age. It can be kept under control with painkillers or meditation, though he's hesitant to use drugs, and prefers to stay aware of his surroundings, rather than enter a meditative trance; as such, he is usually in some minor degree of pain (usually from his back, knees, or shoulders).
- Awkward: Lor isn't exactly the most socially graceful man you'll ever meet. He tends to be blunt and speak his mind, even in delicate or diplomatic situations, making him ill-suited to serve as an emissary, or possibly to even participate in a polite conversation, depending on the person and they day.
