Looking To Help Smaller Companies

Hey guys, so since the Metal Lords started I've been seeking out various smaller companies and encouraging my members to start new ones to take advantage of our Corporate Mandate, which allows new companies started in Metal Lord territory to skip right up to Tier 3. This reflects the faction's focus on trading and commerce, taking advantage of the multiple major hyperlanes going through our territory, including the crossroads over Denon.

However things have been starting to slow down a bit lately, so this is a bit of a last call, if anyone else would like to take advantage of our mandate before we switch to something else, let me know and we can work something out!

We can also offer help to smaller companies in form of contracts and more locations as well.

Well I'm a very tempting droid So looking at your company, we could give you one of the new space stations being built in Metal Lord space as a start, maybe in the orbit of Denon, other planets, or somewhere by our fringe, if it wouldn't be by any particular planet but just be in our space then it would belong fully to your company, you will technically not have to deal with any of the Lords governing it although some may stop by sometime for inspection I imagine, although I could see them just fully ignoring it. Otherwise you would have to deal sometimes with whatever Lord decided to govern over a particular planet or system. There's always option for just setting up shop on the ground on Denon, it's a capitalistic world that retained their original government before Metal Lords although HK set up his presence in their orbit, so companies can move in there freely.

Just having your company for cargo hauling and mercantile trade would be pretty useful since ICly that's a big part of our faction's economy and industrial focus, caravans and trade through our hyperlanes, but not one we really explored in threads that much or through PC work. We could also set up partnership in the future and help your faction build up a merchant fleet that could work with us, if you would be interested in it, and maybe expand into salvage and ship reconstruction as well, because that's another big part of our faction so ICly they would have a lot of knowledge towards the subject. I have yet to set up a market front page, and at the moment I only have produced one type of weapon SR-1 (http://starwarsrp.net/topic/115802-sr-1/#entry1635790). Though I plant to produce some more small and easy to obtain arms and armour in the near future.

This character runs a publishing house. The Metal Lords might want to present their own culture and manner of societal organisation to the rest of the galaxy and have it understood in the proper light. If they have works in that line, whether government-sponsored or not, Entumaa will be happy to publish them. Also works on other cultures and political systems from a droidic perspective, of course.

Sure, that sounds pretty cool! How well known are Jartris' affiliation with the Sith? He would have to keep them hidden from Metal Lords to make deals with it, the Code they govern by literally states "Do not make deals with a Sith"

My company, is one that deals in contracting out personnel for work. Mainly manual labor and stuff, sort of like a very big temp agency but I pay, manage and provide for the workers while the contractor only pays a onetime fee for my companies labor service.

It can be anything too- construction, farming, clerical, sanitation, factory working, fishing, salvaging you name it.

My 'company' is called the GLC, the Galactic Labor Corps.

I also have another manufacturing company called the Unov Manufacturing Collective in the works that refines ore, manufactures construction material/tools and builds large commercial vessels that already has a contract with the Confederacy, so if you are interested, let me know. In a faction ruled mostly by droids and other machines organics may be worried about all general labor needs just being taken away from them by droids, but I say they need some representation and love too. Bring that company in, we're going to need it.

We can find something for Unov to do as well, for ore refinement especially and large commercial vessels, maybe merchant fleet of their own, plus the salvage tech expansion I mentioned before.

GLC also uses droids. In this special case, sentient droids can have the chance to be employed if you will. The GLC is a worker-owned company, with a council running it. It could use some sentient droid representation! [member="HK-36"]

His identity as a Sith is not publicly known. The only people who are really aware that the Sith is the publisher are other Sith and his two fiercely loyal personal employees, his manservant and his pilot. There are probably a few people still around in the galaxy who have seen him doing his work as a Sith and might be able to recognise him in a picture of the publisher (because he doesn't got to such lenghts as wearing a mask all the time), but I'd say the Metal Lords would have to have done a lot of intelligence work (in other people's territory, too) and have had a lot of luck to catch one of them.

I was going to make a sub for a new space station to detail where the convention/expo is going to take place, but with the Codex and Factory now shut down I won't make anyone wait that long.

The public thread for companies setting up contracts and deals with the Metal Lords and each other will be going up either tomorrow or later today, depending how much time I'll have between work and studying.

Sorry about the delay! The site getting blocked took me forever to get past. And a space station sounds pretty fantastic, as well as the longer-term plans of building a merchant fleet and working with the Metal Lords.
