Looking for Threads

Currently I have most of the concept behind this character, a merc trying to do good in bad ways. Im thinking of wanting him to be permanent partner of someone or vise versa. I always want to get a rival for him. Some outside contacts, jobs, ya know. Get this guy busy and rolling in credits. So if anyone has any ideas, missions, or simply just wanna see where a thread would lead us, let me know!!
