Sure. I was a fleeter back in TGC. Why not?

I have two vessels but if the Republic would commission me a larger starship to captain that would be very cool, too. I personally enjoy fleeting.

Right on. This character is currently flying a Stalwart-Class from the Navy Roster. You're welcome to fly a boat alongside her. Let me know what you're comfortable cruising with. Also, Joshua Dragonsflame is Republic High Admiral and can hook you up with whatever you need. Just fyi.

Their positions as generals and commanders was somewhat honorific and not them actually being a part of the military.

Alright, no problem. I know what you mean. I just feel a bit out of the loop in things here. Darc doesn't have much of a significant spot in the Jedi except being a teacher to an academy. I was hoping to get him more involved and get his hands dirty. I have taken part of the invasions and dominions but it has been feeling like I'm an 'extra' and not anyone important. It has been that way since I joined. If you can catch my drift on what I am explaining. I shot for this thread seeing as an opportunity to get more involved, though I could understand why you'd want to limit the Jedi.

Hmm. Well. Here in an option if you would still like to participate this one time:

• Grab a boat and NPC the Commander. Darc can be a guest or similar. Joshua Dragonsflame is High Admiral and can okay a special command for a Jedi Master. Just PM him for a temporary Ambassador gig or something like that. That will open up the doors to run an escort mission via capital ship. It's not a permanent Admiral gig with salary and benefits? But it should work for one thread.
• Or you could run with a Colonial Vessel on loan from a Planetary Defense Force. Cruiser, Frigate, or Corvette classes are pretty common for picket, escort, or patrol duty. It's not uncommon for Royal Planets to keep their own ships in-system for local jobs.

No sweat. Selena's concern was completely valid. The separation of Church and State is supremely wise. However, with enough effort, we as writers can make anything work.
