Looking for fellow smugglers and greys

[Dinah Vekarr]

When I first mocked up this character as part of the Vekarr family (something I want to expand on in the future) I had intially planned to have her story very tethered to her cousin Katria Vekarr. However, as I continued to think about it, I decided that I wanted her to have her own extensive story and place in the site/galaxy. Which is what lead me to this and hoping I can find other smugglers and greys to have her interact with.

Dinah has spent almost all her life learning all the various angles of the Force while still maintaining her position as a smuggler, predominantly gun running, and a spacer. What I'm hoping for is maybe some greys to meet her and teach her a few more things despite her extensive experience, some light and dark siders to clash with or bounce ideas off of or even someone to work with or start a crew with.

I am planning on writing up an open thread to introduce her to the galaxy along with her co-pilot, but I'd like to have other things lined up as well if I can.

[member="Acaleus Thorn"] I'm moderately active, so I can keep a decent pace. What did you have in mind for your character? Dinah isn't what you'd call a traditional grey but she considers herself one since she was trained by a rogue Jedi.

Less a smuggler, but certainly a Jedi more on the grey side, and one hell of a pilot who could teach her a few tricks, should you be interested. Aryn's own force abilities aren't especially well-trained at this point but they're unique, should you want to explore some of the more odd/interesting areas of the force with Dinah.

Acaleus isnt a Sith nor a Jedi. He just goes by the road that have the best challenge for him. Right now i need to get on my feet and create new templates for my company and that means buying/stealing cargo and smuggling them out or into a planet. PM if interested [member="Dinah Vekarr"]

Light is preferred over leaning into the worse depths of dark! [member="Aryn Teth"] While she's a capable pilot, Dinah is not in any way capable of any kind of fancy maneuvers without relying on the Force. [member="Tin'tinag"] I'm always interested in writing with other smugglers with ranging preferences and talents to expand my range of item experience from simply weapons.

As I said I'll be starting an open thread soon for Dinah, if you have ideas you can throw them at me here or in a private message. I'd be totally cool with having her pull together a few people and expand her job field to a span bigger than she's capable of by herself!

I may very well be hopping into the thread then! Aryn's more focused on training his force abilities nowadays but there'd certainly because for him to jump in on any interesting jobs he caught wind of, got to pay the bills after all. Aryn's the type that's easy to rope into all sorts of trouble so I'm sure any ideas would fit him nicely! (Though, any neat old artifacts or mysteries are sure to pique his interest spectacularly)

I'm certain that Katarina could do with a regular, discrete form of non-imperial transportation. Could be a good long term thing, and plenty of room for talking/discussing/whatever along the way.

Might even give Dinah a chance to interact with someone on the darker side of the coin and learn that they're not all her mother and master believed. She keeps to a more neutral stance on the Force, so it would be a learning experience and a fun time in character. [member="Dinah Vekarr"] I think Dinah might find some interesting thread with Myles, seeing as he is also a force-sensitive freelancer-type. Although, I should mention he's not a force-user whatsoever, so essentially he's just a regular ol' spacer for now. Well, he is still *cough* one of the best pilots in the galaxy, even if he subconsciously uses the force to bolster his abilities. He's also a very neutral-grounded character, so if you're looking for a light/dark dynamic he might be the guy, seeing as he tends to lean dark more often but also can be light.

Basically, Myles is a wannabe Han Solo with some force potential if you wanna put it bluntly. So if you're interested in some space-flying, possibly criminal action then hit me up

Our Jawa friend here, though technically a Dark Jedi, tries not to conform to the whole “evil” thing too much and is more Grey than most of his peers. He’s an effective smuggler and can teach you some cool stuff about gadgets and specialty tech.
