LFG Long-Term Narrative/Opposition

I'm looking for a long-term story-line and character development to get invested into for Caedyn Arenais and most likely his Padawan too.

Being a Jedi Knight, I suppose the obvious choice would be to go the Light vs Dark route, but I'm open to a rivalry that's built up over a series of threads and interactions which might set us up for the occasional exchange in the future. For example, a few threads and then perhaps an invasion drops and using that as an opportunity for another thread along the way.

At the moment I don't really have any expectations. It could be criminal, imperial, a corrupt politician, a rogue or corrupt Jedi even. What I'm hoping for at the end of the day is a series of threads that can be shared with PC opposition and others if willing. Something outside of the typical Major Faction narrative that offers an opportunity to write with others I haven't yet had much experience or written with at all before.

I don't have a lot going on at the moment as far as threads go, so I figure now's a good time to start looking for something and this seemed better than making NPC subs lol.

I would be interested in all this (with Ingrid). The lady is threatening Loreena Arenais-Valhoun with the lives of her loved ones right now (through one of my NPCs). So it would be nice for her to get to know Caedyn in any way.

I don't really have any Sith PCs, but I am working on a long term plot with an NPC Sith Lord and Inanna here is currently in a murky gray "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" sort of situation where she's at risk of falling to the Dark Side. Dunno if you'd be interested in that but I thought I'd go ahead and extend the offer.

Caedyn's development as a Jedi is closely tied to his training Kyra Perl , as to become a Jedi Master I want to follow the tradition of first having seen through a Padawan to the completion of their training and becoming a Jedi Knight, and then perhaps it gain the honorary title through a feat of extraordinary measure if his story progresses that far.

While I appreciate the offer, he's not in need of a mentor but rather general experience as an every day Jedi Knight in service to the Galaxy.

Ignis Imura and Caedyn have experience through the Je'daii Order and I'd be very interested to see where they end up should they run into one another again. Yet Vora Kaar isn't a character of yours that I've had the pleasure of meeting, and It's been far too long since we last shared a thread together. Which of the two do you have the greater muse for?

That could be something that Caedyn and his Padawan get involved in. What exactly did you have in mind, cooperating in order to take down the NPC Sith Lord or something along those lines?

Ingrid is commuting between TSE and EE, because she's a double agent in TSE right now. As I see it, Commenor is just halfway between the two empires.
But knowing the lady, I think she would visit Caedyn in disguise, deliberately looking for him. If that idea suits you.

That sounds great to me yeah, Caedyn doesn't share any of Lori's contacts within the rebellion nor does he know any of the Eternal Empire so he will be entirely clueless as to who Ingrid is regardless of a disguise

Not something I'm at all rushing

I'm rather enjoying playing out the struggle of an every-day Jedi Knight. Whether taking on small-time criminals or struggling with the likes of Darksiders. I've missed the feeling of progression from back when these ranks used to require a vote, and the feeling of achievement in making it to Knight or to Master.

Vora has been aiding the NIO, and is part of the Keepers of the Sith Code. However, Vora has been attempting to garner more forces for the Keepers by gathering NPC groups. So if rumors of a Sith walking around asking questions near SJO space to get undesirables would be easy.
