Few worlds in the Galaxy harbored a moon with as much history and with such deep roots in the dark side as the Onderon moon of Dxun. The large satellite was known as a sister planet to the inner rim world by many whom were aware of their annual joining of atmospheres, and it was avoided like the plague by the planet's inhabitants and by much of the Galaxy at large due to its rather ferocious bestial inhabitants. Such things kept many seekers of Light out and pulled the veil of Darkness ever closer, drawing in those from neighboring systems to 'find themselves' through a series of trials. Unlike the citizens of the Republic and those whom dwelled within the inner rim, the Sith who found herself in meditation in a remote section of forestry was on the moon for a different purpose entirely. Silara Vantai, known to few by her titles as a Darth, had ventured into the depths of the celestial body for the purpose of resolving the visions she had been experiencing through the force - something she was prone to as much as she was gifted in the use of farseeing as a Vahla. Her first set of visions were of her coupling with an apprentice worthy of her knowledge, and they eventually turned towards the tombs of an ancient Sith Lord.

As a testament to her confidence in her abilities and capability to remain relatively unharmed in the wilderness of a moon full of predators she carried only her two sabers with her and wore hooded black glistaweb robes. She could feel the presence of hundreds around her, beasts which kept their distance for one reason or another - the usual suspect being the aura of the Dark Side that literally seeped from her pores - and though she was certainly not here for the sake of meditating in the wilderness, such things that she could have accomplished on Alderaan if she wished, Silara remained focused on waiting for the entity that would bear the familiar sense of emptiness as she had felt after her exile from Sorrus as a child. As an extra precautionary step, and as an incentive to draw in whom she expected to arrive shortly, the Sorceress did what she had become best at - magic. Her emerald-hazel eyes slowly opened to give her a dim glimpse of her surroundings as she began to channel the dark side of the force through her being and called upon her hatred for those whom kept the Sith from their expansion into the remainder of the Galaxy, the Jedi and their conspirators. Visible waves of darkness began to ripple from beneath her in the form of a black mist that rose up like the crest of a tidal wave, releasing a horrible booming like thunder within the immediate area and blocking out the light from the sun. If one was to be worthy of her grace, they would need to conquer their fears through the darkness and whispers of the dark side before they could approach her, Darth Vitium.

Dancing on the bleeding edge of a mental breakdown caused a person to do some pretty strange things. After losing her obsessively close relationship with her adopted Cathar sister to the Jedi Order which was the first act in the twisted theater that Jem's life had become, the despondent young woman had tried to fill the aching void with alcohol and sex. After a while, it was obvious to Jem that her trivial pursuits wouldn't stem the tide of raging sadness. The young Hapan woman continued to dwell on thoughts of her sister. To Jemmila, Mallisi's departure signified nothing less than abandonment and betrayal. While detrimental to her mental health, her melancholy state was a blessing for the dark Force powers she'd felt stirrings of since she was a child on Natinati.

Dressed in black veils with combat boots on her feet, she aimlessly ran through the deepest forests of Dxun, swigging directly from the bottle and only lifting her veil to take a drag from a cigarette and blow a generous amount of smoke out of the side of her lips. The Dark Force powers inside Jemmila's body left her susceptible to all manner of dangers on the Demon Moon, from attacks by creatures like the parasitic Orbalisk who fed on those with Dark side powers, to the seduction of another more terrifying figure that prowled the forest, passing through it like a black mist. But carelessly Jem ran like a dark spectre through the forest.

Over the past few months, Jemmila had startling visions of a dark sorceress in hooded robes waiting for her on the Demon Moon. At first they were dreams that came at night, but eventually they invaded her thoughts during her waking hours. And so she began her vision quest. However, as the darkness of the forest intensified around her, her combat boots sinking into the mud, as if welcoming her descent, she started to question whether or not the woman was merely a figment of her fractured reality, and soon her sorrow became bedfellows with abject terror. As the sun was eclipsed from the sky, darkness enveloping her like a shivering embrace, Jemmila slowed her run to a walk and, amid the Hapan woman's own cerebral screaming, the warnings to turn back while she still could, continued to follow the call of blackness.
