Private Living History

Talia considered that for a moment before giving a small nod.

"I hope they don't," she admitted. "Though history does have a habit of repeating itself when people stop listening to one another."

She smiled faintly.

"Even now there isn't just one Mandalorian people, is there?" she asked. "There are different clans and different visions for Mandalore's future. I've heard of Mandalore the Iron and the Iron Covenant, and there are others besides."

Her gaze drifted briefly toward the path ahead.

"Perhaps that's inevitable." She shrugged lightly. "No culture remains completely united forever. The important part isn't whether people disagree." She looked back to him. "It's whether they can disagree without deciding the only answer is another war."

A curious smile returned.

"What do you think? From someone who has walked among them... does Mandalore feel united to you, or simply at peace for the moment?"

“Yes I do believe that mandalore can be united but only by the right ruler, I’m saying someone specific should rule I’m just saying that a ruler should be someone with good intentions and the will to lead with honor and have the interests and respect of the people”

Talia nodded in agreement.

"I think any people deserve a leader like that," she said. "Someone who serves because they care for the people, not because they seek power."

A small smile crossed her face.

"Honor seems to be a word you come back to often." She looked over at him. "I like that."

Her curiosity returned, though her tone remained light.

"So," she asked, "what has been your favorite world to visit so far?"

Talia smiled.

"I've heard wonderful things about Naboo," she said. "It's one of those worlds I've always meant to visit but somehow never managed."

She looked ahead as they continued walking.

"Maybe I'll have to change that." A small laugh escaped her. "Though Caelora is making a strong case for staying a little longer."

Talia nodded with a smile.

"I think you're right. Every generation has the chance to choose whether it repeats the past or learns from it."

She glanced around at the peaceful landscape of Caelora.

"The Force feels... calm here." Her expression grew thoughtful. "Not because it's stronger than anywhere else, but because the people seem to live in harmony with one another." She looked back to Nolan. "What does the Force tell you when you're here?"

Her smile returned.

"I'm curious if we feel the same thing."

Talia smiled.

"I think that's a wonderful reason to travel."

She looked around at the trees and mountains surrounding them.

"Maybe that's what the Force is trying to show us sometimes." She shrugged lightly. "Not where the next battle is... but where life is flourishing."

Her blue eyes turned back to Nolan.

"I hope you never lose that feeling." She smiled warmly. "The galaxy could always use more Jedi who are inspired by peace instead of waiting for war."

Talia's smile faded into a thoughtful expression.

"I wish that too," she admitted. "Though war has existed for almost as long as civilization itself."

She looked ahead as they walked.

"I don't know if we'll ever completely erase it." She shrugged gently. "But if each generation gives the next one fewer reasons to fight... perhaps that's enough."

A small smile returned.

"It's certainly something worth hoping for."

Talia nodded thoughtfully.

"That's one telling of it," she said. "From what I've studied, the conflict began on Tython, and those who embraced the dark side were eventually exiled. Many of them found their way to Korriban, where they encountered the Sith species and, over time, the Sith Order as we know it began to take shape."

She smiled faintly.

"I suppose it's another reminder that history is rarely as simple as a single event. Most civilizations are shaped by many choices over many generations."

Talia nodded thoughtfully.

"They did," she agreed. "Though if history has taught us anything, it's that the Mandalorians have rarely remained enemies of only one group for very long."

A small smile touched her lips.

"They fought the Jedi at times, but they also fought the Sith." She glanced toward Nolan. "I've always wondered what those conflicts were like from a Mandalorian perspective. The histories tend to be written by whoever won."

Her curiosity returned.

"Did your training on Mandalore ever speak much about those wars?"

Nolan ork Nolan ork

“Yes we were taught quite extensively about the wars and even though the Jedi were the ones that the mandalorians fought against the most I don’t hold a grudge against either side cause it was before my time and I don’t believe in holding grudges
