Bordering the Nabooian city of Keren as a suburban town/center, is the Atrisia expatriate forged Little Jar'Kai. Created during the large exodus of Jar'Kai Atrisia Residents after the occupation of Atrisia under the One Sith, the atrisian expatriates founded Little Jar'Kai by an estuary. The neighbourhood is connected by a series of large archways and bridges designed in the classical Jar'Kai and Yovshin culture. The rest of neighbourhood is cradled by a crescent arc of mountainous lands behind it. Inside the neighbourhood, one will find food, crafts, and entertainment from the Yovshin/Jar'Kai culture in an abundance. Little Jar'kai is a time capsule, a elaborate illusion designed to remind its broken hearted people of the great capital that once was on Atrisia before its utter destruction. The majority of the population is Atrisian, however, some wealthy or trendy Nabooians have moved into the neighbourhood in its non-Atrisian wards. The neighbourhood is known all over by Naboo locals as a place of foriegn beauty and vibrance brought home.

Little Jar'Kai is separated into three wards, as they are split by the estuary seen above, these wards are simply known as the Left Ward, the Middle Ward, and Right Ward - although each has gained a nickname overtime.

LEFT WARD (GION GLITTERATI WARD)
Known as the Gion Glitterati Ward due to the many beautiful Jar'Kai styled geisha entertainers who work along Gion Street, the Left Ward is the entertainment section of Jar'Kai. It is full of food stalls, diners, restaurants, entertainment halls, holo-concert halls, and bathhouses. This is also where one would find the densest and most cramped housing projects surrounding the ward's main streets.

ISLE OF LANTERNS

Located on the left river that borders Left wand Middle Ward, is a man-made island that is a singular building. This building is known as the Isle of Lanterns and it is the most famous bathhouse-entertainment establishment in all of Little Jar'Kai. It is both a bathhouse and holds may private and hall entertainment areas. Here patrons can enjoy geisha entertainers as they pour drinks, sing, dance, and play drinking games. In the larger audience halls, elaborate plays and dance numbers are presented. However, don't be fooled into thinking this is some seedy brothel, patrons can look, laugh and talk to the geisha but, they cannot touch. Do so and you will be thrown out. Of course you could always visit the Left Ward's many hidden unofficial entertainment establishments where the rules are much more...relaxed, at the risk of getting caught by the neighbourhood police.

MIDDLE WARD (WARD OF RIVERS)
Called the Ward of Rivers because of the estuary rivers that split it in two, the Middle Ward is home to food markets, especially fish, and home to a more quiet residential population. Several temples venerating the Emperors of old of Atrisia can be found here and are open to anyone as long as they follow the proper etiquette. It is along this ward that at the back one will see and come across the towering Daigoma Bridge, the massive bridge and archway (seen center above). This massive structure also acts as the neighbourhoods Town Hall and administrative center. The Mayor of Little Jar'Kai holds his offices there, as well as the entire civil service of Jar'Kai.

At the center isle of the ward is the Remembrance Temple, a singular Jar'Kai styled temple made of wood, steel, all gilded in gold. It has an inner sanctum that is designated as the final resting place of all Atrisians - those lost during the One Sith Invasion and liberation, fleeing Atrisia, and those who died away from the homeworld.

RIGHT WARD (GAIJIN WARD)
Known as the Gaijin Ward, the Right Ward is the multicultural ward with non-atrisian expatriates and local Nabooians intermingling in a large district of residential, commercial, and industrial areas. Many of the wealthy of Naboo (both local and expatriate) live here.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Little Jar'Kai began as a designated sanctuary town for expatriate Atrisians who had fled from the One Sith occupation of Atrisia. Overtime the expatriate community became more embolden in developing a piece of their long lost home. Through grants by the government of Naboo and a sister-city partnership with the wealthy bordering trade city of Keren, Little Jar'Kai grew into a large urban center. After the complete destruction of Jar'Kai during the collapse of the One Sith, Little Jar'Kai has become a relic in of itself, designed to be a living museum of what was once Jar'Kai. To that end, since the rise of the Galactic Alliance and the liberation of Atrisia - Little Jar'Kai remains as a home-away-from-home for most Atrisians.
