- The crystals are rainbow-colored in all cases and are greatly permeated by the Force.
- They are essentially neutral in the Force, but when the crystal binds to a person (and / or bloodline), the Force side of the crystal also changes in the Force, depending on the alignment of its owner. Because of this, it may make feel as if the crystal is conscious, but it is only caused by the Force. Because the crystal is highly attached to the Force, it is able to fully attune to its owner and respond to the user in its colours and impart a colour to the weapons that characterizes the user.
The crystals themselves provide great protection, but individuals familiar with Sorcery and Alchemy are able to give these crystals extra, special, even more unique abilities. However, this requires a great deal of knowledge and power. But one thing is for sure, unique and useful trinkets will be made from this.
The crystals are not commercially available, Valkyrja members can make items specifically the Völvák and Fjölkyngi Smiðr Guild for selected buyers, but they don't really let the world know what crystals they have.
