"A danger?" She repeated the question.

Slowly, she began to rise onto her own two feet. "Is it enough to answer such a question with yes if I am being honest? Are you dangerous, Jack? You did kill the Hunter." Boe's tone remained quite serious, despite the way she spoke.

She took one step towards him. "I have killed... And I suppose I represent a terrible kind of death to some, a danger that once sought to wake us all from our dream."

"But me?"
She pondered as if the answer eluded her, too. "I am no longer the same person. I was meant to be her vessel, her rebirth... But now I avoid her, I remain myself... And without you, I will be stranded here. Are you a danger to me?"

He eyed her, tongue running along his teeth. She did raise some extremely good points.

"....I killed it, yes, at your behest. And it's not the first kill I've made, no." He drew in a slow breath. "And I suppose that I could be a danger to you, either through malicious action or deliberate inaction. But, and I mean this sincerely, I have no ill will towards you and I have no desire to harm you intentionally or otherwise."

Another slow breath. "....Boe, if there's something you need to get off your chest, I would... I would ask that you do so, but perhaps right here and now may not be the best time or place." He put a thumb over his shoulder. "Perhaps it's a fatalistic curiosity streak, but I am genuinely interested to hear what you have to say, and hear where all this will end up leading." He looked around a moment, before giving her a slight smile. "...Grab what you need, and I'll get us a ride out of here. If... you want to leave?"

"Very well," she replied. "I will answer the questions you have, but you are right... It would be better to leave this place first."

Boe walked over to the stone that was contained with her and picked it up, then she turned back to face Jack. "There is nothing else to take... Everything here should stay, my brother will watch this place should anyone else find their way."

With that, she left the means of their departure up to him, as she had no ship to speak of, nor could she fly one if she did.

Your brother... the tree? Jack eyed it curiously, but gave the root a soft pat and let the tree be. "Well... I know a few places to trade stories for drinks. You can give me an idea for how 'sophisticated' a venue you'd prefer, and I'll try to get us to civilization proper so you can freshen up and feel a bit more yourself. That sound fair to you?"

Mentally he summoned the Pod to draw in closer to the dreadnought. The big ship should hopefully be still enough for it to approach without danger, and if they could get close enough, they'd be able to simply hop over from the docking bay.

"So you're going to have to wear the EVA suit for the jump over to my ship, I don't think it'll fit in the docking bay - my ship, that is," he added, gesturing to the two biosuits as he headed to the Olisthiros. "I can seal this one up enough for the jump over, but I'd advise you use the EVA suit. Be forewarned, it's not designed for you, so it's going to feel very weird." And the Pod would be a whole other barrel of worms, but... ah well. She could handle it, surely.

Being stuck in space surrounded by plant life wouldn't be too weird for her, right?
