Jedi Apprentice
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Lishi is a young mirialan with characteristic to their species tattoos, dark hair and violet eyes. They almost always wear gloves with their outfit, to the point where there are few who have seen them with their hands bare.
INVENTORY
Nothing but the clothes on their back and the lightsaber they have built.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Lishi's attitude is best described as flippant. They often joke around, often at the expense of themselves. They always try to deescalate any conflict before it comes to blows, as direct combat isn't their strong suit, but due to their... Particular brand of humour they just may trigger an even worse reaction.
STRENGTHS
A strong connection to The Force.
Level-headed.
WEAKNESSES
An ever-present flippant attitude.
Debilitating, progressing illness. (So far only their hands are paralysed.)
Lightsaber combat is not their strongest side.
HISTORY
Lishi's birth can be described as lucky for the small time rich businesspeople Mighia and Marekh Sowih, but unfortunate for the baby itself. The young child was gifted with The Force, which became obvious at a relatively young age, but it seems life, to balance the scales, had cursed Lishi with a rare, incurable illness. First, it had manifested by the child's inability to move its fingers, and over the years, both of their hands would become inoperable. The paralysis was spreading, promising to one day take over their whole body.
Fortunately for Mighia and Marekh, they wouldn't have to worry about raising such an 'obstacle to their careers', as they called Lishi behind their back. The child manifested its force powers at a very young age, giving them the excuse they needed to hand off the problem child for someone else to raise, namely The Jedi Temple, while their attention could go back to caring for their other, able bodied children. Who knows? Maybe one day they could start bragging about one of their children becoming a Jedi knight at the countless soirées they attended.
Lishi's training progressed swiftly, though their teachers often remarked on his inability to take their teachings to heart. Now, Lishi is a seventeen year old, a youngling no more. The time has come for the young member of the Jedi Order to become a padawan. If only there was a master that would take them under their wing...
