Description:
After her sojourn on Chroma Zed with Ryan Korr, Lira noted that she would likely be seeing combat against both the One Sith, and perhaps the ACA.

Knowing this, and fearing for her own mortality, Lira went to the Jedi Armorers and along with their talents and her skill with mechu-deru, created a set of armor that would aid in her fighting style as well as serve as basic protection against blasters and slugthrowers as well as other more common weaponry found throughout the galaxy.

The armor itself is simple in design. There is a simple bodysuit overlain with plates of Durasteel and plasteel plates. The armor itself is equal to that of most Jedi armors, capable of blocking blaster bolts, most slughtrowers, as well as most vibroblades and “lesser” weapons. This function of the armor is not at all special or even unique, it is like many armors in that nature. The one special function the base armor has are the talon like finger claws located on the armors hands. These claws are extremely sharp and in emergency can be used as a weapon.

Aside from this the one feature the armor does have is extreme light weight and flexibility. Many of the joints are uncovered, and the armor mostly gets its strength from its folds and extremely well forged design. This allows for Lira to have maximum allocation of movement in her armor giving her a vast advantage against less mobile opponents. It is also a key feature in her fighting style. The armor has provides some minor resistance against mental attacks, with the care and time Lira put into the forging of it some of her force essence went into it, thus granting her a boost of mental strength.

The unique feature of the armor is a series of built in holographic displays.

These holographic displays were designed and created by Lira, their function is a simple one, to confuse and enthrall and opponent. Controlled through subtle uses of of Mechu-deru these holographic displays activate through and just over the armor. The displays give Lira a ghostly nature, making her appear as somewhat of an apparition instead of a solid form. Her hair becomes coated with thick waves of blue, her form itself becomes wavy and difficult to focus on, vulnerable patches of the armor become faded and ghostly, and the eyes of the mask begin to glow.

When she moves within the armor she seems to leave a slight blur after herself, appearing as though she is not really in the place she is standing. The armor was designed not to invoke fear, but confusion. The idea behind it is that the holographic displays would dazzle and make it more difficult to actually focus on Lira, giving her opportunity to strike while the opponent is distracted.

This is keeping in theme with Liras primary weapons, a Saber-staff and a lightwhip. Her combat style is about dazzling an opponent into making a mistake, giving her the opportunity to exploit and use that mistake to win combat. The armors unique appearance and the ghostly visage it presents is an extension of that combat form.
