- Pairs effectively with Lily’s reflexive and evasive combat style
- Extremely limited reach
- Requires close proximity to opponents
- Less effective against heavy armour
- Electrical systems vulnerable to ion and EMP interference
- Power cells drain quickly during sustained shock usage
- Struggles against opponents wielding dedicated melee weapons
- Poor performance against lightsabers beyond brief defensive contact
Built from salvaged riot-control hardware, security-grade stun systems, and black-market components, Lily’s batons embody the practical survivalism common throughout the Outer Rim and deep undercity settlements.
Each baton features a reinforced telescoping shaft capable of collapsing into a compact carry configuration for concealment beneath Lily’s jacket. When activated, the weapons extend rapidly into full combat length, locking into place with a heavy mechanical snap. Internal conduction systems channel high-voltage electrical charges through the emitter assemblies near the striking ends, allowing the batons to incapacitate opponents through direct impact or prolonged contact.
Despite their rough construction, the weapons are intentionally calibrated toward non-lethal force. Lily designed them around stopping people rather than killing them outright, favouring quick disabling strikes, electrical overloads, and escape opportunities over prolonged engagements. Against lightly armoured targets, the shock output can cause muscular disruption, unconsciousness, or temporary nervous system overload. Exposed electronics and light droids are similarly vulnerable, often suffering brief system shutdowns or sensor failures after contact.
The weapons excel in confined environments where larger arms become cumbersome. Ship corridors, crowded markets, maintenance tunnels, and undercity alleys all favour the batons’ compact profile and rapid handling. Their lightweight design allows aggressive movement, defensive redirection, and dual-wield combinations that complement Lily’s evasive fighting style and telepathically enhanced situational awareness.
However, the batons are far from perfect weapons. Heavily armoured opponents can resist much of the electrical discharge, while prolonged combat rapidly drains the compact power cells housed within the shafts. Ion interference and electromagnetic disruption can also disable the stun systems entirely, reducing the weapons to little more than reinforced metal clubs.
