Gilamar Skirata

The most important step is always the next one
The Niathal-class shuttle zoomed through space, its bright ion engines a beacon in the dark. Slowly it moved towards Mandalore, or at least in the general direction as Mordecai attempted to plot a hyperspace jump. He couldn't though. His mind was a jumble. He no longer felt the tug of the old man's ghost and he felt lost, with the only place to go being Mandalore.

Thoughts and memories that weren't his ran through his mind. Gilamar's life. Mordecai had long given up on living his own life. It was too congealed with Gilamar and Rave's, filled with their expectations. He couldn't live with them.

Punching in a solution he reached for the hyperspace lever and tugged. The ship's viewports darkened as the stars began to stretch and the ship was launched into hyperspace towards Mandalore.
