Another week had passed and the weekend had come, Caedyn Arenais glad to be away from School and spending what he had hoped would be a most lazy day in the comfort of their family Home up within the hills of Commenor for which only the sounds of life surrounded them when he and his Sister weren't off playing and getting into all kinds of mischief. His Mother, [member="Lady Kay"] and [member="Loreena Arenais"] had both left the house for the afternoon to visit the Capital, Chasin City and do whatever it was that girls did together. Lori had been excited because their mom had bribed her with a bit of shopping to get her out of the house while Caed had stayed behind with his father who was somewhere about the yard spending his time in his typical leisure these days growing old and grumbling to himself about things that frustrated him.

Having just woken up from a bit of a nap, Cae stretched out lazily against his bed, his gaze looking to the ceiling and listening to the insects outside chirping and clicking away noisily. Life was good, simple and worry-free. He didn't have to contend with the same troubles that his parents did, only the life of a young boy who's Mother and Father wished for he and his sister to get a decent education and otherwise grow up happy with the necessities that every young person needed. The mysteries of the Force, peace in the Galaxy, fighting great battles and staving off evil, these were the scenes of his favorite action holo-flicks and resembled nothing of his life outside of his natural curiosities. [member="Veiere Arenais"] had talked to him about the Force, it had been inevitable with the power that apparently coursed throughout their family yet he had also been intentionally vague about it all and never wandered into any great detail. Caedyn had questions though between the siblings parents, he and Lori had both gotten the impression that their mother and father didn't like to talk about it too much.

Turning to look to the bedside table on his right, he reached over to open the draw and take hold of his Lightsaber, the weapon of a Jedi given to him by his father. Outside of school hours, he took it with him where ever he roamed, always attached to the right side of his belt like a badge of pride and the natural excitement that any boy found in the handling of such an important tool. As far as he had been told, their Dad used to be a Jedi before they had been born but he didn't much like to talk about the things he had done; it was only natural that Caedyn had grown up with aspirations and dreams of walking a similar path, stories of their grandeur were always exciting to listen to, yet never encouraged here at home; His Dad always had a way of reigning down on his imagined adventures of saving the galaxy...

Veiere had known that sooner or later there would come a time that he would be presented with a need to help steer his children in the right direction where their force sensitivity was concerned, he had avoided discussing his history with the Jedi Order with them for want of encouraging their own path to take flight, not seeking to hinder at all the calling of the Force that it might guide them down the path that was meant for them, unbiased and without their parents preference to confuse them. It had however become clear to him of late that his Son's intrigue and curiosity over the Force had grown, the odd question here and there becoming rather more frequent over time and beginning to rub off on his Sister Lori whom also had begun to ask about the Force Praxeum of Commenor and why Caedyn had been given a training hilt and she had not.

He and his wife had often discussed their concerns away from the twins. [member="Lady Kay"] had never lived the Jedi Path that Veiere had taken in life yet she had listened to many of his concerns and been his pillar when he had needed her support to lean upon and keep him upright. While there was a great need for Jedi in the Galaxy, his desire to see his Son avoid many of the struggles that he had faced was far greater than his faith in the Order for which seemed to favor taking the fight to the Darkside, a far more popular route to take for Jedi of today as opposed to the exploration of the Force and the enlightenment that came with self-discovery and learning.

[member="Asha Hex"] had instead come to mind, she of whom had introduced Veiere to the current state of the Je'daii Order and the dedicated pursuits she followed today. Her example of her own control over the Force and the explanation surrounding the Je'daii's ideals that seemed to fall in line with his and that of the Systems Alliance's had proved greater the appeal and quite frankly the safer bet for their Son. Today, it would be an offer that he would give to Caedyn, the decision to pursue his gifts in a controlled environment, accompanied by the creation of a most suitable Attire that he had been working on regardless of the boys answer, a means for ensuring Caedyn's well being and guidance within the Force despite what his Son might choose.

Wandering down stairs, Caedyn gave something of a loud yawn, stretching his arms out over his head and arching his back, taking each step with a hint of caution, his gaze still blurred from his afternoon rest. It was strange not to have Lori around, he often felt a little emptier when she wasn't nearby, as if there were some sort of void or hole in his life that could only be filled by the company of his Sister despite their often teasing and bickering among themselves. He'd never admit it to her without there being a serious need but he loved his Sister, they'd always been there for one another in the good and the bad times they would come across. Growing up and struggling to understand the Force that they were so naturally attuned to beyond the reach of so many others, they had learned to relate with rather more ease through coming to recognize and understand each others presence. It was like knowing who someone was, but seeing them from the outside, but feeling who they were within. Their intentions, the nature of their heart and whether they were friendly or not...

"Dad?..." Caedyn called out, testing the waters to see if [member="Veiere Arenais"] was inside or not. Their house was rather size-able, his voice carried through the first floor though he didn't seem to get a response and thus resigned to move on towards the Kitchen searching for something to eat, every child's go to when faced with a situation lacking in excitement or worthwhile distractions. Reaching into the cupboard, he made a grab for several biscuits and a nutrition bar shoving the latter into his pocket for later on and soon glancing to the nearby window, his view being opened to the veranda for which overlooked their yard and the mountain range overlooking Chasin City.

The fresh air was cool against his skin, a bit of a breeze wrapping around his form as he stepped on out through the sliding doors and found his father working down below around his typical station, a live-in separate from the estate in which he had his own projects to keep him busy and not bothering his wife in the excess of time Veiere had on his hands nowadays. With nothing better going on, he decided to slowly make his way down to check out whatever new thing his father was making this time.

Veiere's workshop had been an addition he himself had built and set up, separate from the Estate so not to bother his wife and children with the noise of his workings. The structure much smaller in comparison, was spacious and provided all that he would want in the application of wood and metal works as well as the creation of attires such as his Son's new Tunic, Robe and accessories to match. Exploring the artisan works as a hobby had been a blessing in disguise, though it could be frustrating when mistakes were made, it otherwise distracted him plenty from the excess time he had on his hands in the absence of political affairs and matters of the state.

Against his concerns for their children's future, Veiere's actions tended to conflict with his reluctance to encourage his son in the development of his abilities. Knowing however, that the Force would guide Caedyn as it had in he himself, the imagined reaction to the boys being given such garments put a smile upon his face truly hoping that he would admire and appreciate the gift that his father was offering. The boy wouldn't recognize the presence of the Force within the materials used, his training hadn't begun to take him into the core principles of the Force and thus he would likely only see the aesthetics of the design, yet Veiere had gone to great effort to imbue the Tunic in the power that surrounded and connected all living things in harmony across the Galaxy. The fabrics he had used had been chosen with the empowerment of the Force in mind from the beginning. The Steel Cloth, a denser and heavily material for which he felt would be enough to do see the job done had been lathered within the former Master's presence. As a result, the tunic would be somewhat heavier than most due to the nature of the steel cloth, yet this wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing either given that any other clothes his son would choose to wear would feel a significant deal lighter and enable him to move freely within.

Caedyn's presence from somewhere outside took his concentration away from the finished project hanging upon the display mannequin, Veiere turning to reach for the door to his workshop and smiling as he found his Son staring up at him, a vision of pride, his boy; Caedyn never ceased to be able to influence a smile in Veiere for the love that he held over the twins. "Hey kiddo..." He chuckled, words escaping him softly and soon gesturing for the lad to come on inside.

He had never really been inside the Workshop all that often, not for lack of trying of course but because this was his father's spot that he liked to keep private and to himself for some reason. When [member="Veiere Arenais"] was inside, he and his Sister would come and say hello, try to sneak a peek at what their Dad was making but they had never stayed long and he hadn't been much of a tools kinda boy. Wood works and making stuff just didn't interest Caedyn as much as the splendors of playing in the outdoors and getting into mischief with Lori.

"Hey..." He smiled up at his father, soon leaning to the left a little bit to look passed him, "Wha'cha doin'?" He grinned warily, trying to see any sign of Veiere's new project. His gaze soon returning to his father, a slight tilt of his head in wonder; "I don't think Mom and Lori's around anywhere...-I'm kinda bored. You think we could go fly somewhere ?" He chuckled a little sheepishly, a look of hope growing upon his face at the sudden thought and excitement of the suggested trip.

"Your Mother and Lori have gone into the City"

Veiere smiled down to his son, a hint of pride in his eye for the boy of his that had grown so tremendously fast over the years that had raced them all by since the Twins birth. Moving to step back into the workshop, he would allow Caedyn his desired entrance and view over the finished workings of the new Tunic and Robe that his father had been working the final touches to. The result of his project being that of rather careful and accurate make, mistakable for that of professional craftmanship though only thanks to the time, effort and mistakes Veiere had been allowed to frustratingly make in the absence of more urgent direction in his retirement nowadays.

"Terrac's gone with them in the Free Lady" Veiere continued to speak quietly while moving to pick up the upper half of the tunic and turn to show it to his son, [member="Caedyn Arenais"]; "What do you think?" he grinned a little in apprehension, the moment in which his Son would judge the work for whatever he felt was it's worth.

"I've made it for you, of course...".

The fact that his Mom and Sister had headed into the City explained their absence well enough yet his Dad mentioning them having taken the "Free Lady" seemed to be a scapegoat response considering the "KingsGuard" was still stationed out back upon the dual landing bay that cling to the cliff-face of the Eldritch Mountain-range. His first want to respond was an instinctive counter-argument to his fathers apparent lack of excitement about the day yet upon a moment's passing, [member=Veiere Arenais] seemed to have something of a surprise in store for his son that came completely unexpectedly and somewhat strange in all honesty where Caedyn was concerned. He didn't have any such history nor notion of attires in such a fashion, his history was one of common life and luxury that came with living in a well established and financially blessed house-hold such as theirs wanting for nothing. He didn't like to think of himself as spoiled yet as loved as he and [member="Loreena Arenais"] were, they wanted for nothing.

"Wow..." He spoke apprehensively, his head cocking back with a slight tilt, looking over the tunic a little uncertainly, "It looks uh..." He paused a moment, having to consider his fathers feelings rather than jumping straight into his obvious skepticism, "Kinda cool?" he unfortunately couldn't hide the question behind his voice. Even he recognized it and somewhat lowered his gaze, his left hand lifting to scratch at the back of his head in sheepish embarrassment before glancing back up at his father; "What's it for...Exactly?" He asked, hoping that is peaked interest might distract his father from realizing how lame a gift this was. If he had been given credits to go shopping for something for himself, he was certain he could've found something way cooler...

He hadn't talked to his son much about his history within the Jedi Order, nor his hopes for Caedyn's future as a prospective Force Practitioner. Up until recently, he and his wife [member="Lady Kay"] had neglected from going into any great detail or effort in encouraging either of the twins to seek to develop their abilities in such things. Together, both he and Kay had undergone great trials and turbulent times due to their connection to the Force and involuntarily their connection to others because of their force sensitivity. It had been their hope that their children could live quiet and normal lives yet the twins had already begun to notice their differences, these strange happenings around them and their in-explainable perception of life around them as well as their connection to one another as siblings bound by the force itself.

"They're clothes, obviously..." Veiere stared back at his son with a faint smirk and a rather skeptical gaze, a soft chuckle escaping him before looking to elaborate around what made them so special; "They are similar to the attire that I wore as a member of the Jedi Order long ago..." he moved to the nearby bench for which had been cleared and soon lay the garments down flat upon it, seeking to better describe them in clear view for his son to seek to understand and learn about.

"The outer garment..." He took the thicker exterior material in hand, lifting it up in show; "Is called a Robe or Cloak, hooded and weather resistant. Back when I was a younger man, these were often later worn as a formal showing to other Jedi Knights and Masters as part of the high standards of the Order and their expectations for how their people would present themselves before others. Most Students were neglected these robes until they would later become Jedi Knights or otherwise given them one by their mentors. In this case, your father..." He soon gestured in to himself with a fond smile, "Would rather you stay warm and neglect any threat of illness while out there getting up to no good as I'm sure you will...".

"The Tunic, which also extends to the leggings, leather gauntlets which are otherwise a pair of gloves extended with leaver bracers for better protection of your forearms, your boots made of a thicker leather and your belt which will hold all sorts of handy little gadgets that you come to collect; all fall under the same category, so to speak. It's all very light and comfortable once you get used to putting it on. After a few days you'll get the feel of it all...".
