Description:
The lightsaber hilt was constructed by Kerstas when she was still at the Academy. Having developed a preference for Makashi, her hilt is slightly curved to allow a better mastery of the flourishes employed. The first day that she met her Master, Darth Shojo, the two Sith hijacked a Stygium mine on the planet Maramere and stole a crateful of the crystals. The Chagrian, though, chose to keep one for her lightsaber.
After having the crystal cut to a proportion that would allow it to fit within her lightsaber, Kerstas used the Force to cleanse any impurities out of the crystal; during the process, the crystal changed to an orange color which matched her eyes (so fabulous!). She then set about tweaking her lightsaber so that the crystal could fit in it without a hitch. However, it was not completed until after the Sith attack on Ruusan, during which she used a run-of-the-mill lightsaber.
The design itself was one which the young Chagrian had discovered in the Sith archives; however, the bronzium coating was a special addition of hers. Also, she carved a Krill (K) and an Aurek (A) on the side of the hilt, physically marking it as her own.
