Conceited

Somewhere in between Coruscant and Brentaal IV, there was left an abandoned outpost. It had been used by the Galactic Republic to monitor communications and traffic along the routes that led in between the Core and Mid Rim. Before the Empire. Before the One Sith.
Stood on that same outpost was a Jedi Knight. She had come alone. Arsix- her trusted astromech- had been left, alongside with the Sochi Ru, on Chazwa. The unmarked shuttle- outdated by several decades- was left docked at the station. She would use it to return to Chazwa, once she had finished her business here.
A week had passed since the Battle of Condruum. It had been a must win for the Galactic Republic. But they had failed. Without letting anyone else know, Ella had called the dreaded Darth Vornskr out to face her in the void. Before the One Sith ended the Republic once and for all, she would take down one of their own that was wholly capable of helping them to do it.
It was time to light up the darkness. At the center of the station, where it's former occupants gathered to eat, drink and socialize in the past life, Ella was knelt in an open space, furthest away from the stations doors. Eyes closed, she meditated on the Force. She would know when Vornskr would arrive.
Then she would be in for the battle of her life.
