The Vehement Sun

✺ With nothing on my mind, I wandered the bustling streets of Coruscant's underbelly, just meandering through the underworld. Eventually, I found myself in one of the seedy cantinas that were a dime a dozen down here. There, I found a spot out of the way on the second level. Secluded enough not to be bothered by the debauchery of the cantina, but the perfect perch to watch the comings and goings of the place. A waitress came and took my order, and once I got my drink, I allowed its strength to hum through my body, if only for a small moment of pleasure.
It had been some time of me sitting there when I felt the presence of several dark-sided figures closing in fast on the cantina. When they entered, I intentionally hid my presence from them, both visually and within the Force itself. I watched as they spread out, as if searching for someone, which piqued my curiosity. Their red and black garb caused them to stand out, which would be helpful if I needed to avoid them upon my departure. Just as I was planning to make my exit, a cloaked figure sat down at the table. "We dont have much time; those heretics are here looking for you so that they can kill you. My master has sent me to bring you to him before they can find you." A feminine voice warned me, a sense of urgency in her tone, her head watching them as they scoured through the cantina.
"How do I know I won't just be killed once I'm brought to your master?" I asked, my eyes watching the assassins as well. For a moment, we both shared in the noise of the cantina as she contemplated her next words. Then, with hands clasped in prayer, she spoke. "Vahl kress na?"{What is the color of the first flame?} she asked, which caused me to look at the hooded woman. Only the truly devoted and faithful of Yggdrakses would know such a phrase, and in ancient sith no less. "Red at its heart, violet at its becoming, and black at its end." I replied, a sigh of relief leaving her lips as she smiled.
"Come, we must go. Before they have the chance to spot you. she whispered, taking my hand as she escorted me out of the back of the establishment. Once outside, I snatched my hand away from her. "I refuse to run from those foolish enough to come for my life. If they wish to touch the sun, I shall turn them to ash." I noted, hearing footsteps closing in on us. In a matter of moments, we were surrounded.
I didn't wait for any of them to speak; it was clear they were here to kill me, their malice overwhelming the alley we found ourselves in. Like a rocket, I used the Force to propel myself forward, driving my lightsaber right through the first assassin's throat. The sound of him gargling his own blood alone caught the attention of everyone present, the hooded woman more stunned than anyone. Removing my weapon, I ignited cosmic flame in my other hand, then turned my venomous gaze upon those in front of me. One down, with so many more to go. "Who's next, who's ready to meet their end?"
I cackled with those words, going full sprint toward the other foolish assassins, their lightsabers igniting to life. Once I was ten feet in front of one, I pushed myself toward him, appearing at his left side. As I slid to a quick stop, I pivoted to turn so I was facing behind him, driving my lightsaber right into the man's back, slicing through him and out of his right side. "One" I hissed menacingly as I charged the others.
Two of the robed men charged at me as well, and I deflected the slash of the first one and pounced on the other, slitting his throat upon landing on the filthy floor. The other came in for an attack, and I pulled myself back out of the way with the Force, just enough to catch the heretic in his side, the sizzling hiss of my lightsaber nuzzling his internal organs. "Two and three" he counted as two more came at him.
They tried their best to overwhelm me with slashes and swipes of their weapons, but I was just as agile as they were and was keeping up, laughing all the while. It was quite amusing watching them try to kill me. All three individuals locked sabers, their blades being blocked by my own. Using the Force, I grabbed one of them and lifted them into the air, and the surprise left the other open for me to drive my saber across the robed male's neck, ending him.
The man he sent into the air came back down; I watched happily as I caught the assailant with my saber, killing him. Amidst my pleasure, I found one of the assassins was lining up a shot to snipe me from behind. Using the Force, I wrapped it around the assassin and pulled the attacker in close, planting my saber through his good eye. "Four, five, and six" I mused, tilting my head to look at the final remaining heretic.
I found this one cowering near a large container of sorts and approached. The man begged for his life, and could only laugh, taking the man by the face. With a wicked grin, I uttered one single word. "BURN!!" Cosmic flames consumed him as I let loose a torrent of black-edged, violet-red flames, his violent screams of pain echoing in my ears. With the last one dead, I looked at the scene before me, proud of my work. With the trash taken care of, I turned my attention to the woman. She was prostrate before me, hands clasped in a praying manner as she spoke ancient sith.
Kneeling, I extended my hand to her. "Stand, as we have an appointment to keep." ✺
