DESCRIPTION
The Liberator is perhaps the most unique of Ultimatum's creations to this point. In an attempt to better understand the connection between the Force and organics, the artificial lord created this device as an underarmor. The device utilizes a natural force crystal and a biomechanical weave to tap into a wearers Force connection. As this does not rely upon strong Force sensitivity, this allows even non-force users to take advantage of the Force. This does not work for Force-dead persons or in areas where Force abilities are repressed. However, it only allows one ability, the creation of a small Force pulse that is sent in the direction of the outstretched arm of a wearer.

The pulse itself is weak compared to most Force user abilities, easily countered by most trained Force sensitives. The energy pulse flies in a near perfect line until its hits something, or reaches about ten meters from the user. In the former case the pulse explodes in a burst equivalent in strength to that of a fragmentation grenade, in the case of the latter the pulse simply dissipates harmlessly. The creation of the pulse draws on the Force energy of the individual. Due to the natural differences from person to person based on how strongly they are connected, or not, to the Force, each person is affected to a different degree. In the majority of cases, singular on rare occasions produces minor headaches and disorientation. Extensive use in a short period of time however often leaves individuals breathless, exhausted, and in some cases unconscious. While no deaths have been recorded, it is assumed that those who are especially weak in their connection to the Force can be expected to have a very high risk in even occasional use.

The armor is incapable of absorbing even light blaster fire, melting away easily in high heat. The crystals utilized are quickly depleted as they contribute to the control of the energy. When depleted its takes a trained individual five seconds to replace the crystal capsule. The use of the pulse creates a short moment of tumultuous energy around the arm of the wearer, this can damage armor or anything near to the arm, even causing damage to the arm itself on occasion. After each use the armor requires twenty seconds for regeneration crystal stability.
