STRENGTHS
- Versatile: The Liberation Class has a wide variety of weapons, ranging from long range missile launchers to numerous turbo laser variants, allowing it to engage multiple enemy targets at both long and close range.
- Layered: The Liberation Class, on top of an extensive and layered suite of shielding, has heavily reinforced and thick armored plating, allowing the ship to continue to effectively engage enemy vessels without risking crippling damage for a short time should its shields fail.
- Bubble: Rather than its shields being a single, large bubble, the Liberation Class instead has several 'bubbles' spread out across its length. These bubbles are calibrated to overlap, allowing for a section to remain protected by its neighbors even if it is knocked out.
- Hangar: The Liberation Class focuses almost entirely on its personal offensive and defensive capabilities, with only a singular hangar available underneath the ship for a fighter or auxiliary craft compliment. In a singular engagement, it is not capable of bringing a large enough fighter force to protect itself.
- Point Defense: While boasting a fair amount of point defense lasers, the Liberation Class is large enough that the turrets it has are widely spread across its hull, creating a thin coverage. A dedicated commitment of enemy starfighters to any one area could potentially break through and cause serious damage.
- Internal: The Liberation Class does not have an exterior bridge, instead the primary and secondary bridges are located deep in the heart of the vessel. They must rely entirely on external sensors and video feeds to see what is going on, and certain electrical pulses can temporarily blind the ship.
Mandalore stands free, but under threat. The Mandalorian Union has managed to free the homeworld of their people from Sith occupation, but now faces the far more daunting task of defending their newly acquired freedom from the numerous threats of the galaxy. The recently recreated MandalMotors was given the difficult task of creating a new line of warships to secure the borders of the Mandalorian Union, and they have delivered the first one. The Liberation Class is designed to be the center of Union fleets and the front line combat vessel leading any Union attack or defense. With various forms of shielding, an immense weapons array, and a heavily reinforced hull, the Liberation Class stands as the first vessel of the centralized Union fleet, and the forerunner of the nations return to the galactic stage.
