SPECIAL FEATURES
- Leg Enhancement: Within the boots of the armor set there are miniature micro repulsors that can be utilized in a variety of ways such as prolonging a jump allowing one to clear greater distances, run faster through aiding them or when kicking the repulsors activate strengthing the blow similar to a Repulse-hand where it can dent metal or even fling those kicked back.
Strengths:
- Lightsaber resistance: The mixture of being created from both Maalraas hide and Phrik has made the armor very good at resisting lightsaber blows capable of staying in contact with one for periods of time.
- Blaster Resistance: Just as it is capable of resisting lightsaber blows the parts of the armor that cover the body can dissipate blaster bolts or deflect them.
- Leg Enhancement: The biggest asset of the armor is that it increases Li’s strength when utilizing kicks through the use of miniature generators built into the boots allowing the Jedi the capability of denting metal, breaking bone, or sending people flying.
Weaknesses:
- Break a leg: Just as the boots on the armor can empower Li they can also be his downfall as throwing a kick the wrong way, or not being used to the effects can easily lead to his legs breaking at worse or ankle twisting at the least.
- Acid: With zero protection against Acid all it would take is for Li to be touched and the Jedi would be in a lot of trouble.
- Unprotected Areas: There are spots of the armor namely Li’s head and upper arms that are not protected making them prime targets for anyone seeking to truly target him.
- Sonic: Just like Acid resistance there is nothing protecting any part of Li’s body from the effects of sonic attacks which could lead to him being turned to a bloody pulp or vomiting up just due to being near the effects of one.
DESCRIPTION:
Ever since his journey to become a Jedi, Li has been one to prefer Hand to Hand combat over any other form of combat. Yet, in a galaxy where people wield weapons that could easily strike an unarmored foe down in the matter of milliseconds, the Atrisian decided it best to create something to protect himself and better arm himself for the threats he’d soon face.
Starting off with the creation of the armor Li, accompanied his Master to the moon named Dxun where the two hunted for the legendary Maalraas. While the entire set of armor could’ve been made from metals and other meshes Li felt the want to use a natural creature in at least part of its creation. Having triumphed over the creature and scavenging what he could from the body Li set to work on the task of weaving it together with the Phrik weave that he had purchased. Weaving the two together provided a form of protection that allowed Li to go toe to toe with saber wielders needing not to worry about being sliced in half or losing a limb so long as it was the covered parts of his body.
The torso piece and pauldron are both made out of Maalraas scales on the surface which sports the ability to deflect or disperse blaster fire making it great for protection when people aim center mass. Beneath the scales, the phrik weave is inlaid providing a second layer of protection beneath the scales just in case something pierces through. While this armor does provide superior protection against many things there are plenty of aspects and forms of attacks that it's useless against. Sonic or acid weaponry being prime examples of things that will decimate the armor and the wearer.
The final and most important part of the armor is the boots as these are the only true mechanical part of it. Extending up to beneath his knee made out of the same materials on the outside as the rest of the armor they provide just as good protection. On the tip of the shoes, they’re made of solid phrik so as to protect the toes from damage. Within the boots, there is also insulation to provide comfort to the wearer and negate some of the effects of the miniature repulsors that were built into it. When used correctly the miniature repulsors can be used to prolong one's jumps, make running far easier and making them run faster, and finally when used by Li to kick they’re capable of denting metal or even knocking someone off their feet.
