I've done one of these before, but between watching Andor and Tales of the Underworld, I've got some muse for this kind of RP!

Some ideas:

• Valery working undercover to target something crime related. Either with or against your character
• Valery working with a smuggler or bounty hunter on an adventure
• There is trouble in the underworld she responds to, and ends up running into your character!

This sort of thing is an auto take for Bal Tal, who funds his operations with ancient artifacts both real and fake. I can have him be a legitimate seeming buyer. Someone who has real cause to be doing this sort of thing, just to make it interesting
