-Impatient: Lex hates being idle. He constantly burns with the energy to be active, and this at times can be detrimental when a situation calls for a slow and steady hand. This naturally makes him adverse to meditation and self-reflection
-Rebellious: A natural lone wolf, Lex chaffs under authority, and prefers to operate under his own terms. Evem for those he respects, like Masters and Mentors, he will be resistant to following orders that go against his gut.
-Graying Morality: Unlike other Jedi, and indeed unlike most Sith, he does not see the Force as easily divided. Like his views on reality, he sees it as gray, neutral, it's nature depending on it's user. This had led him to more than occasionally making decisions that may not align with traditional Jedi values.

APPEARANCE:
A well-built and muscular man, for most, Lex is an imposing figure. He is considered handsome to most species, both humanoid and non, as well as in excellent physical condition. While his stature and features may seem to make him stand out, his demeanor is actually quite the opposite; he is able to fade in and out of crowds with relative ease. He often wears light clothes yet durable clothing, such as leathers, as they are most comfortable for him.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born the child of a Corellian pilot and a Mandolorian, Lex spent much of his early years travelling the stars with his parents. Originally the pair were only associates, both hired to perform on the same work detail for a diplomat. The job was a long and arduous one, with dangers appearing requiring their skills. It was during one such incident that his father was saved by his mother, and became enamored with her. Eventually, this feeling was returned, and the two married, producing Lex shortly thereafter.
When he was a toddler, the cruiser he and his parents were travelling on was attacked by slavers, with his parents being among those killed. Lex was taken, and seemed to be on the path of slavery for the rest of his life. Fate, it seemed, had other plans, and the interception of the slaver's frigate by the Order of the Silver Jedi and the Antarian Rangers. The his memories of the events are faint, Lex remembers being awestruck by the Jedi Knights in action.
Once rescued, and upon discovery of his being an orphan, he was tested on Force-sensitivity, and finding the results positive, was brought into the Order. He proved to be determined, if stubborn student, pushing through tasks that he found difficult, while also finding ways to endlessly irritate his Masters. His most notable quality during this time was his nature inquisitiveness, his desire to know more, to understand more, and to see more. His prowess during combat training, as well as his natural affinity for subtle Force techniques seemed to make him a natural fit as a Silver Shield.
He was taken in by a Jedi Master of the Silver Shields, Master Mon-Ike-Do, a Cerean. For several years, he trained Lex in the ways of the Jedi, watching and nurturing the young man's growth, without trying to directly influence it. He found that, while he was certainly skilled in combat, as well as a quick thinker, Lex was a solitary sole; he struggled in cooperative setting where Ike-Do wasn't directly present, and even then often times broke off to pursue other objectives. Most would have seen these as signs of disrespect and barred him from further training, but the Cerean was able to the larger picture; Lex's actions were rarely done out of brashness or recklessness, he always pursued goals that ended up contributing to fight. He was more clever and cunning than strategic or intelligent, finding out of the box solutions to problems. And even though he wasn't a team player, he found it easy to mingle with civilians and the like outside of combat.
When he deemed his Padawan ready, Mon-Ike-Do supported his ascension to Knighthood, and his adoption into the Silver Shadows, not the Silver Shields. Now a full Jedi Knight, Lex dove straight into his duties as a Shadow. He specialized as an Investigator, assisting law enforcement within Silver-space with cases that went beyond their capabilities, as well as unraveling deep seated conspiracies and criminal rings.
His early days as an Investigator saw him travel to worlds and systems outside of the Order's influence, stretching into the Outer Rim. It was here that he had his first experiences with true lawlessness, the untamed planets and its inhabitants teaching him many lessons in justice, morality, and what it meant to deal them out. It was during this period of his life that he made contact with the Outer Rim Coalition, an assembly of those in the space who sought to bring the law to frontier. Their style of operation spoke to Lex, even more so than that of the Order, and it would be a short time before he joined them, eventually earning the rank of Sheriff.
In his later years, he found himself spending less and less time in contact with the Order, establishing himself as capable and decent lawman. On the rare occasions he did return, it was on request from the Silver Shadows, or the Silver Assembly.
