BIOGRAPHY:
7 years, 3 months, and 12 days, that was how long Levi had been alone. Having lived his entire life on Ilum, he was used to difficult conditions, but solidarity was not one he had planned on. Levi's father was a miner, along with many others who inhabited this place. They excavated and shipped Kyber crystals across the galaxy. The working conditions were poor but the pay was good. Levi did not work in the mines though, he instead worked at the base camp at the foot of the mine.There he served food and was a medic for the miners. He worked with an entire staff of women, and for that he caught criticism. He always saw the miners pass by him with dirty looks or make nasty comments under their breath. He was not able to work in the mines due to his disability, he had a severe limp in his right leg. The only thing keeping him upright was his cane, It was his most prized possession, it was beautifully crafted with gold trim at the top with eagles on the sides and made of strong walnut wood, it would last him a lifetime. It was also one of the few things he had left to remember his father. His father had got caught in a shaft collapse, he was rushed up to where Levi was, legs crushed from the weight of the rock that had fallen. He was gasping for air, but choking on blood instead, one of his lungs had collasped, most likely from broken ribs. Levi tried to stop all the bleeding, his eyes got blurry, streaks of warm tears poured down his face, he had seen this kind of thing far too many times to expect a different outcome now. He crouched beside him and his father turned and said only one thing: "I love you Levi". The lights left his eyes and his body went limp, his father was gone. 3 days after that horrific incident, a package came for Levi, it was from his father. A note was attached reading: Happy 16th Birthday, hope you like it, Love Dad. Levi's heart sank, he looked over at the package and saw that the shape was odd, it was long and narrow, with no other markings than the note from his father. He opened it up, and burst into tears. It was beautiful, a cane, much nicer than the one he had been using up until now, which was on its last leg at any rate. He looked it over multiple times and noted the trim on the handle, eagles, enveloping the top. He loved it, but felt much pain in his heart knowing he could never tell his father how much so.
Present Day
Levi awoke, his body ached with pain from the previous day's training. He knew becoming a Jedi wouldn't be simple, and he had traveled to Tython to train at one of it's temples after learning he possessed the Force. Leaving Ilum was hard. he had spent his life there, but he believed that not acting on his ability would be a waste of potential. He was excited honestly, he was getting the chance to become something greater. His master, Avlis Ryen, was hesitant to take him on at the start, given his great disability, but decided that if he was determined enough, he would allow Levi to train under him. Levi had decided to forgo lightsaber combat, instead he wished to master the power of the force on a deeper level. He had already learned a number of abilities, such as Force Push, Telepathy, and Control Pain, each day he seemed to be making small strides in learning, but his will to learn and practice is limited to his body's energy. He would arrive home each night and happily head to his bed, only to awake feeling more tired than he did the night before.
A Dark Secret
Levi Shied is not all of what he appears to be, he holds within him another side, Eran, a malevolent personality that is dead set on ruling the galaxy. When he is awakened, Levi's mind goes blank, he has no recollection of what has happened. Eran on the other hand is always conscious and able to learn and absorb powers Levi learns without his knowledge. Eran actually does not possess the limp that Levi does, his mind does not appear to acknowledge the injury whatsoever. He is protective of Levi not because of care but out of necessity. When Levi is in great danger, Eran will take over and fight in place of Levi. After great power exertion however, Eran will retreat back inside Levi's mind leaving him in a vulnerable state of unconsciousness.
Eran's Weapon/Equipment
- Sabercane: the cane that Levi received from his father after his death is not what it appears to be. It is in fact a lightsaber that Eran disguised as a gift for Levi so that he may use it to practice his own powers, while Levi is unaware.
