She smiled at his clapping and the little teasing he did. She was about to answer him when he continued. "After all that was some damn good team work. Like an army of two. And not to be weird or anything but the way you handled yourself and the fun i had I may have given me a crush on you. Totally not weird." Makayla Froze up. Her face was full of shock and disbelief. No, there was no way he just said that. Nobody liked her. She kept telling herself that it was no possible. A person she just met earlier that day had a crush on her? Because of how she handled herself on the field. She didnt know what to say. She couldnt say anything. it was like her lips froze over and wouldn't let her speak.

Standing from his spot he felt a crick in his back and he yowled. "Owww my back." He said painfully, throwing his hip to the side he cracked it and sighed in relief. "Ok nevermind." He told himself. Turning back to look at. Maka he saw she had a odd look on her face and he waved his hand. "Hellllllo? You ok? Come on we gotta take this chip to captain crunch." He joked, reaching for her hand and pulling her up. "Relax the hard part is over." He chuckled. Unaware of what he said had an effect on her.

She slowly got up with the help of Jesta. She tried to clean her face off with her hand and get rid of the weird look she might have. She walked with him down to the Captains Office where they were to turn in the chip. She was still shocked that he thought that way and wondered why. She tried to shake the thoughts but couldnt get past the words he said "but the way you handled yourself and the fun i had may have given me a crush on you" She just walked forward trying to have a good poker face.

Jesta looked at Maka as they traveled to the captains office and he gave a confused grin "hey whats wrong? Your all quiet...something happen?" He asked concerned as they entered the building. Was it something he said?

Makayla looked up at Jesta and shook her head. "No... Just thinking." She could have said more but she didn't. She really was thinking but She wouldn't tell him what she was thinking about. She was shy and didnt want to make a fool of herself. She just dropped the subject for now. As though the gods gave her a break they reached the door to the office. "Ready?" She asked. A deep breath was taken in as she looked at Jesta.

Maka responded as to she was thinking and Jesta left it at that fir now. He knew bothering a women when they were 'thinking' often ended badly. They finally reached the door and Jesta looked at her when she asked if he was ready and he held up a finger. "Hold up." He said taking out some water out of his bag and pouring some into his hand. The. Slicking back his hair or fur so it all stretched across the back of his head. He put the water bottle back and smiled. "Alright now im ready." He joked.

Makayla just smiled and shook her head as they entered the room. The Captain was sitting in his char looking at a screen. he laughed at something that they couldn't see and smiled. "What do you two want? Im trying to see this group get their asses handed to them." Makayla didn't say a word she just placed the Chip on the desk next to the mans feet that were stretched on top. He looked down for a second to look a it and looked back at the screen for a second like it was nothing. He realized his mistake and spun his head back around to the chip on the desk. "well slap me and call me Hanna. You have the stupid chip." The man took his feet of the desk and picked up the chip. he inserted it into a Holo where it would project what was inside. there was a File named TEST. he activated that file and it brought up the words "Test Passed"

Maka and Jester both opened the door and strolled in. Maka looking all military and pro and Jesta looking like he was a lazy punk and walking in slouched and bis hands in his pocket. Maka put down the chip after the man started to laugh and ramble but then finally turned around and mentioned they got the chip. He put it in and the words came up spelling 'Initiation Test Complete. Passed.' Jesta chuckled and clapped his hands together like a seal. "Aaaahehehehehe." He laughed, looking st Maka. "I love it when i beat a game." He stated simply. The man looked at him and nodded, a sly smirk on his lips as he gave them both paperwork that read 'Sons of Ardaan. 24th battalion.' Jesta picked up the one that read Jester Macrovilli and looked at it. "Uuuuhhhhh." He said drawn out and looking at the paper.

Makayla was happy she beamed with pride that they had completed the test. 'Sons of Aldraan. 24th battalion.' was on a file that was placed before her. When she opened it up it read her name. Makayla Shaw. She didnt know what to think. They were given their own folders for what? TO read about everything they the Republic Government knew about them? Jesta was also surprised and let out a wordless question. Makayla was about to say the same thing herself. She looked down at the file and them back at the Captain. "Um what is this for?"

Jesta continued to read through the file when Maka handed it back to the captain and asked what they were for. The captain opened his mouth to speak but Jester beat him too it as he gasped as if he were gasping a song. "Ahhhhhhh, it seems as we are both being assigned to the 24th Battalion of caruscaunt. A heavy infantry military unit. Pretty classy, says here they are made up of the best. There is also Golden Company who has the commander Iron Maiden." Jesta explained, reading through more. The captain looked at him and frowned. "Yeah, what he said. You know Jester Macrovilli I'm starting wonder how you became a soldier. Our kind of...weird." The man said honestly. Jesta looked up at him and puckered his lips as if he were about to smooch. Mocking him. "Im not weird you just boring." He told him, reading the file and tapping his foot on the ground. "This is going to be so fun. You up for it Maka?" He asked. Closing the fire and putting it into his bag.

Makayla didnt know who or what the 24th Battalion. BUt she was interested none the less. If it was a group of the best then she had to be there. The Captain was talking to Jester about how weird he was. Well his was alittle weird. maybe alittle on the fruity side. She liked him though. He was good at what he did and that was in the Army. "Yeah Im interested." The only thing she didnt want to deal with was new people.

Jesta glanced at Maka and stuck his tongue out at her. "Lets male like a banana and split!" He told her, looking at the captain and chuckling. "Right then, see ya!" He told him, walking out he door and into the hall. Waiting for maka.

She walked out of the office and shut the door so the Captain could get back to what he was doing. She looked up to Jesta and smiled. "Looks like we made it. and from the looks of it we will be in the same company." She was glad that it ended up that way. That meant that she was being pared up with someone that she knew. "Since you mentioned the Banana Split, would you like to get one with me?" With what Jesta said earlier she was sure that he wouldn't refuse.

Jesta turned to face Maka as she told him they were going to be in the same company. He nodded and laughed. "Oh yes, yes. More adventure and more fun for us! I still feel bad for those guards we took down...oh well!" He said, skipping a few feet down the hall. Maka then asked if he wanted to get a banana and he swung around overdramaticlly and chuckled. "I would if i knew were to go." He said with a grin.

So far he had said yes, but he didnt know where to go. SHe smiled and shook her head. "With how funny and crazy you are I thought you would know." Makayla didnt know where to get one ether. She was thinking about where to go as they walked. "Maybe we should check the mess hall?" Makayla was wondering how in the heck did ether of them not know where to get stupid ice cream in this place.

He tilted his head. "Im crazy?" He asked with a chuckle. Lookikg around the hall and walking down the hall with Maka. She suggested the mess hall and he laughed. "A military base that gives ice cream. Now i gotta see." He said picking up pace and taking Makas hand. "Follow your nose!" He said twisting and turning through the halls until the reached a gigantic cafeteria. "Bingo." He told her looking around and letting her hand go. "So were ice cream?" He asked.

Makayla let her self be taken by Jesta hand to the Cafeteria. She couldnt smell anything other than the wax on the floor. and the dirty clothes they wore. When they got there he asked about the Ice cream. She smiled at him and yanked on his hand somewhat "Maybe you should ask them?" She then began to weigh somewhat on his arm. "Oh please ask them! I want Ice cream."

Jesta looked around the room and scratched his head. Maka suddenly tugged his hand and asked him to ask for ice cream. He looked at her and chuckled as she leaned on his arm a little bit and asked again. He poked her in the middle of the forehead and laughed. "Alright alright super women ill go ask." He said walking over to the person sitting behind the food. The man glanced at jesta and sighed. "What will you have?" Jesta blinked and cackled. "Two banana splits bunny boy." jesta requested. The man cocked and eyebrow and went into the back. A few minutes later he came back out with two bowls and handed it to him. Jesta nodded and walked back over to Maka. "Here ya go." He told her.

Makayla curled her eyebrows at Jesta's finger on her forehead. She hopped herself on the table as she waited for him to come back with the prize. He handed it to her and then looked at him like he was an idiot. "Am I supposed to eat this with my hands or my face?" She said jokingly. She was implying that she wanted a spoon. because apparently Jesta wanted to just slurp it like slushy.
