HISTORY
Born on Coruscant to the moderately wealthy Spatz family who runs the Spatz Starship Refurbishment and Repair business. His family business specialized in performing insured repairs of starships and speeders. As a youth, he used to assist the family business by delivering repaired ships and speeders to customers. As a teen, he became aware that competitors were able to undercut his family's repair shop by using stolen parts supplied by elements of the Coruscant underworld. He looked into it, getting evidence of the crimes and outing it to the holonet. Politicians on Coruscant ended up being involved, and the story erupted into a huge scandal. This started his career as a journalist, and he's followed it ever since.
Today, he has appeared in war zones, covered major political events, and gotten interviews with the leaders of criminal organizations. This has earned him a lot of enemies and a lot of fans. The rich and powerful often try to use him for publicity while doing their best to sidestep his criticism of their activities. His career as a citizen journalist has been aided greatly by his parents Jib and Jayna Spatz, who have invested in a great deal of expensive equipment and even a refurbished Nubian Yacht which he uses in his career.
