The ride up the elevator seemed to take forever and the wait was made worse by the fact the sense of urgency she felt from Arrbi only increased as time went on. Nervously chewing on her lower lip, Anija tapped her gloved fingers on her thigh plates as she waited very impatiently for the lift to reach it's destination. And eventually, the lift ground to a halt at the top of the mine shaft. When it did, Anija pushed through the partially open doors and sprinted towards the surface access. That, at least had remained clear.

The sound of her boots scrabbling against the rubble strewn floor sounded loud in her ears, and Anija frowned and sucked in a deep breath from her suit's air supply as she shouldered the door wide open and stumbled back out into broad daylight. It took a moment for her armor's optics to adjust, but ANNE had dimmed the visor for a moment to protect Anija's darkness-adjusted eyes from the sudden brightness.

As the visor de-polarized, Anija moved quickly towards where she'd left her bes'uliik. As she drew closer, she fiddled with a control on her gauntlet. An instant later, the craft shimmered back into existence as the cloak vanished. She still was getting used to that, if she was honest with herself. But it was certainly useful in a situation such as this. Quickly, Anija hopped up onto the craft's upper fuselage with a slight boost from the Force before she dropped down into the pilot's chair.

Another frown crossed her face as she quickly brought the craft's systems up from standby. She knew that the three men were somewhere in the Wayland jungle... and she had a way to find out where. She only hoped it worked. "ANNE, scan for a broadcast on this frequency, and plot it's location...." she told the AI as she rattled off a series of letters and numbers. That frequency was only used for one thing: Arrbi's or her locator beacon. Anija had had the beacon's installed in both their armor after their mining trip to Aeten II. And hopefully, they would come in handy now.

She watched her console closely as she lifted the bes'uliik clear of the ground and angled the vessel skyward. She'd have to fly low, skimming the top of the tree canopy. As she continued to guide the vessel upwards, ANNE overlaid a blinking marker on her terrain map. It was moving quickly, and almost parallel to where she was now. Kicking in the sublights, she rolled the craft to starboard and pushed the throttle forward. The force of the acceleration pushed Anija back into her seat, but she didn't care.

Within minutes, Anija found herself close to where Arrbi's locator told her he was. Flicking over to a general Mandalorian comm channel, which all three should be able to receive, she spoke. "Duck and cover, vode. I'm coming in weapons hot." her scans had shown a surge of lifesigns around their location. Roughly half a dozen large life forms. Too big to be Kremlins. Kuryida Edee. That was the only other possibility. Her lips thinned into a line as she flicked the safety off from her blaster cannons and dropped down into the clearing which her scanners said they were crossing now. Another flick of her thumb and the bes'uliik spun to face their pursuers as her guns spat coherent light at them.

There was a gap, obviously, between the two which was now being bridged by the Death Watch Mandalorian. Coincidentally his sloppy aim became more precise as his personal shield was taking more plasma projectiles than it was a while ago, but that didn't frightened the Field Marshal. This particular being was a grunt, meaning his thinking and processing capabilities were nothing to worry about. Even a Mandalorian less than his caliber wouldn't retreat from this zealot. And Julian's mind would be his ultimate defeat as he couldn't think tactically against others. What is one with a sword, but can't properly wield it?

Both of his pistols were dropped to the floor as Vilaz prepared to initiate some close-quarters combat. He was the type to grapple, get his opponent on the ground, and use submissive techniques to disable them from any more fighting. The Redneck saw how his attacker was moving his arms and hands which took enough time to realize that he was using his rifle somewhat of a bat. The Bounty Hunter knew what approach he would take on Julian, and he immediately crouched and dodged the swung of the rifle, attempted to grab the man by the thighs, lifted him up, and slammed him on the ground while taking a 180 degree left turn (like a spine buster). With the heavy swing of the rifle it would be enough for the Mandalorian to execute such move on the blood lust Julian.

His legs and chest were beginning to burn with the effort to keep ahead of the monstrous beast. The tall grass whipped at his legs and he could hear it tearing at his body as he passed. Draco managed to pull ahead in a sprint past Betna who began wishing for the first time in his life that he had at least some semblance of Force sensitivity that could help him go a little bit faster.

It felt like each second he heard the thundering step of the Kuryida Edee behind and while he knew it was impossible from within the armor he wore, he could almost feel it's hot, cloying breath on his face. Fighting down the burst of panic he felt as he glanced at his wrap-around HUD, he realized that maybe... just maybe they had a chance. There were three of them... which meant three choices for the predator to make. All of them running in the same direction made it a single choice, but maybe if they...

"Split up! Go different directions!" he shouted, matching action to word yet again. He broke left and tore off through the grass once more, hoping his comrades bolted off in a random direction as well.

He heard the footsteps lose a small amount of the impending doom in their tread and risked a look back only to see that the beast was tailing Draco. About that time, he heard his wife's voice on their comm systems and realized two things.

First and foremost, she was coming in as close air support on a creature that could arguably shrug off the lethality of her fighter's shots, though perhaps not the full extent of the damage. The second thing?

In an open field running from a massive carnivore, ducking and covering wasn't really an option.

He had just enough time to try and put a little more distance between himself and the beast before the sky split open in fire and light.

I figured there's three of us running from it, so I rolled a D6 on my desk. 1-2 it was me, 3-4 it was Draco, 5-6 it was Verd. Rolled a 4 :|
