Let there be Mandalorians [Dominion of Wayland]

LET THERE BE LIGHTS!
LET THERE BE SOUND!
LET THERE BE ROCK!!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpxYoU4WAv8

The Dominion of Wayland Objectives.
1: Liberation of Fort Monroe
Captured during the Primeval's invasion of Wayland the Primeval began using it as a storage facility for recently mined phrik before shipping it throughout their small empire of tentacles. Its time it was taken back. Named for the Lady Liberator, Fort Monroe holds cultural significance. In addition its loss must be avenged.

OOC: [member="Isley Verd"] see if you can drum up some Prime folks to offer opposition. They are gonna be trying to run off with Phrik, we wanna focus on fighting them and taking the base, we can always mine more of it.

2: Mystery at Mount Tantiss
Power readings, faint as they maybe were detected coming from the depths of Mount Tantiss. All that is known about the source is that it shouldn't be there. Explore the Mountain and discover the cause of the power Source.

OOC: Furthering the Death Watch plot. Death Watch Clones the lot of them. How else did such a conqueror build an army to oppose the Might of Mandalore in secret. [member="Tralik U'rik"] if you wouldn't mind DMing this some. It's presumed that he cleared out as much as he could when Mandalore started making its way here.

3: Kremlin Nightmares
Wayland is Scary. Without regular patrols and kill teams the Wayland Plague has risen, and its gotten bad. 101 Hours and counting since the out break was reported. Extreme Caution is advised. During entry to the effected areas, locals are doing their best to disable any and all ships capable of flight with Ion Cannons.

OOC: Ever Played Dead Space? Alien Isolation? Any Horror Survival game? That, but Star Wars with these nasty little buggers.

4. Do what ever it is your heart Desires.

Wayland Fell last year. Draco had been there on the ground fighting with his men at the time. He had even been wounded in what felt like his youth. Before he had had any thing resembling a family and well before he had Mastered his use of the Force. In fact he had only been an apprentice at the time, barely trained at the hands of the Obsidian Order.

Now, as the Mandalorians took an interest in the planet once more, the Primeval's influence having waned, and their remnants left on the planet, Draco was back, once again. Draco was back, not Vulkan, not the demon buried beneath the pair, but Draco in what was easily his longest lucid period since his fall.

The Skira-class entered the system, flanked by the small fleet group Clan Vereen housed and operated. Just five decent sized ships and a frigate, getting a proper look at what the Primeval may have left lying around in orbit.

Sabine was on board one of the ship with Draco, she wanted to study him, and see if she could figure out what was wrong with him at times. Though she need to do it in such a way, that he did not know she was doing it. As such she got herself assigned to the same ship as him, so she could see if his aura, unlike her, he could not mask it as well. She was also making herself look weaker than she was actually was. Even to the point of hiding the fact she was force sensitive, this skill was taught to her by old friend [member="Darth Veles"]. She had kept her true strength under raps to an extent, so not to get much attention from other members of the crew. Though not to point no one could feel her in the force, she was sitting in his ready room, awaiting orders. She was going to try and follow him as long as possible, and if she could find away to help an old friend she would. She was not sure happened t him yet, but she did know something was wrong since the invasion of roche.

Wayland, a planet that was so critical to galactic history, yet so insignificant until now. Dralos was well aware of the history of Wayland. He knew that it had served Grand Admiral Thrawn, arguably the greatest admiral of his generation, and perhaps in galactic history. Dralos however had not come to Wayland simply for its history; he had come here mostly because their were rumors that power readings were at Mount Tarris, a storehouse used by the Emperor Palpatine himself.

Wearing his normal gear(in the character profile), Dralos and a group of a many Mandalorians prepared to enter Mount Tarris. He knew that the storehouse had the capabilities of cloning, and that was why he was vigilant. The Anzat could sense some lifeforms there, and that was why he had warned his fellow Mandos to be ready to fight.

As he prepared himself to fight, he silently prayed -in his head- to Manda, hoping for him to guide his fellow Mandos in battle.

(Its a short post, but it establishes Dralos in the thread)

The feeling of the stealth suit on her skin was strange while Levy was moving but she hefted the rifle and checked it. The newer upgrades and materials to it were build up and designed to compensate for the new upgrades. It felt mostly the same while the pint sized mandalorian was cloaked and searching for the small creatures with her eyes flicking back and forth to find the small red eyed monsters so she could kick one and make a goal or melt some faces with the plasma projector. Her rifle came up before she perched herself on a ridge going over some of the things putting her beacon down for her sisters to find.

Objective: 2 Hunt the Deathwatch
[1/20]

Refreshed from her trouncing on Dathomir by Asemir, Kaeda jumped headfirst into her culture as a Mandalorian and requisitioned a suit of Oriramikade Eukar'gam, designed by Clan Vereen's Aliit'buir. She had spent the intervening weeks training in the suit, she wasn't able to reach the height of her acrobatic skill, but she welcomed the trade off of having armor that was starkly superior to her former stealth suit. That suit had been great for her bounty hunting, and when it was repaired she would use it for such, but when it came to warfare, this Eukar'gam was the first step to becoming the weapon she needed to be.

She stood on the bridge of the Skira. Since her adoptive clan had left, she had been training with various other clans, most recently with Clan Vereen in the use of their armor. Her melee skills had always been good, but now she was able to say that her skills as a Mandalorian were excellent, as she had been adding firearms into the mix as well. She readily recognized the mistakes in her training as a youth and was taking steps to remedy it. Now, she was ready to take it to the Death Watch again.

Wayland.

Merely uttering the word was synonymous with scratching at an old wound. It was the site of the United Clans' sole defeat: a loss of life and territory to a glorified cult...of all things. Blood was spilt upon this ground. Mandalorian men and woman, the bravest of Manda'yaim, laid down their lives in its defense. Yet, despite their best the planet was seized from the United Clans. The loss was a solid blow to the collective pride of the nation. It made many contemplate if the seemingly-mythological strength of the Mandalorians was merely a myth. Merely a story.

That would not stand.

Unlike that damned gaggle of zealots, the United Clans endured. Despite the Sith. Despite the Primeval. Despite even the Death Watch, they weathered every obstacle. Now, their enemy had declined into obscurity...Now, the Mandalorians were taking back what belonged to them. For the Dar'manda seeking redemption, this was almost a poetic turn of events. He, once led by hubris, was not present for the original fall of Wayland. Yet it was only fitting that he stand alongside his people in taking it back. Just as he sought to atone for his wrongs in the eyes of the vode, the Mandalorians were attempting to atone for their loss.

In the eyes of Manda itself.

Realspace hummed as yet another cadre of vessels descended upon Wayland. From the depths of time and space came a dispatch from Clan Verd. The Sentinel, The Ferocity, and a single Sev'rance-class Light Carrier came to a halt over the world. They fell into place alongside the ships mustered by Clan Vereen, whilst their Aliit'Buir made his way down to the Sentinel's hangar. There, he took a moment to slide his helmet into place before uttering a whistle, loud and shrill. The noise echoed across the hangar, summoning forth his beast: the Cin Bes'uliik. Isley grinned as his monstrosity lumbered over before taking a moment to clamber aboard.

And now, he waited. For today, he would be showing his niece how to ride this creature. As for the target? They would be diving down to Mount Tantiss in an attempt to take the fight to the Death Watch. There wasn't any doubt in Isley's mind that the overall presence of the splinter group would be sparse, considering the dedicated annexation. However. That did not mean that there were not left over forces. Now, aside from firepower, Isley also had experience on his side. In fact, he and [member="Azrael"] once ascended the Mount in hopes of finding lost artifacts and lore. Yet today, those same memories would give him the element of surprise.

"Let's be off, Eir'ika!" he called.

The legends that surrounded the world of Wayland had always been something told around the clan-fires of Mandalore. Upon that very planet scores the Manda’yaim had laid down their lives and their honour in the glory of war, twice score could be said for their enemies. Wayland was truly a planet of spilt blood and bones from ages past and present. The world had become something of a symbolic resonation of the United Clans, an image that had been ripped from beneath them by forces out of the shadow. It had been before Eirlys’ time, her body only of youth when Wayland had fallen but like any Mandalorian she felt a strong connection with the planet fuelled by heated stories and passionate retellings.

Today she would repay those who gave her dreams of honour.

She had travelled not from Mandalore as many of the other clans had, but from Dathomir. Her presence having taken to the stars from within the Witches that had been overseen by Clan Rekali and Clan Verd, both of whom she served loyally. Clan Rekali was a matter of sworn allegiance, a word offered to a grieving father with the promise of revenge against the monsters who had caused him pain. Her word to the Rekali’s gave so much more credence to the term of Mando’a then she had ever truly believed, family was indeed so much more then blood.
However blood endured as well and as she stood on the cusp of battle she did so with the same that ran through her own veins. Clan Verd was her own, it was part of her and the one true essence of Mandalore that gave her strength. It was through the name of Verd that she had taken to the Resol’nare and it was by their name that she would live or die.

A whistle from her Uncle ripped through the area and it was answered by the thundering appearance of his beast. The Cin Bes’uliik allowed itself to be mounted by the warrior who had for so long been a mystery to Eirlys, his reappearance among the Dathomir Clans allowing their reunion to be initiated by those willing to tempt the fates. Now the two Verd would face the Deathwatch, the enemy of the United Clans and test their metal against those who would betray the Resol’nare.

He called to her in their tongue. A call that was responded to with an approving nod. Today they would ride. Today they would find victory.

Bhaltair was clad in fully covering riot armor to prevent the Kremlins' quills from getting him. He was sweating like a mad dog and he felt like a baked potato even though it was night time. He probably didn't need quite so much armor, but he was more worried about the quills than just getting stung. If they caused him to go into paralysis, he didn't know how...the other guy would react. He approached the jungle tree line, but stopped and keyed his comm link to Levy and the others.

"Alright: I'm going to get those samples. Do you remember the plan if I don't get out in a timely manner or become non-responsive?"

After receiving her answer, he would readjust his grip on his equipment and continue trudging forward. This place gave him the willies and he wanted to get in and out like a grocery store run.

With the existence of the Primeval reduced to only remnants of the Zealot Empire, something that Vilaz was glad and happy about, the Death Watch took the advantage and opportunity to place a base of operations that were a few parsecs to Mandalore. Wayland was a major help to the insurgents when the attack of Mandalore began just a few weeks ago which officially opened to another Civil War between the Mandalorians. Truthfully, Vilaz despised this whole internal conflict and wished there was another way to rationally solve this without spilling blood and causing harm to one another. The Field Marshal could only be disappointed and sad that there wasn't no way to peacefully resolve this conflict. It wasn't that the Sole Ruler of the Mandalorians didn't want to hear the audience of Vilaz, but some pieces of the old guard during the reign of Azrael were still instilled and influenced the future of the Clans. That guard was weak and if Civil War was the only viable option to make the Mandalorians strong, bold, and fearless like their great ancestors, then so be it.

Without a doubt and just like he and many others predicted, the True Mandalorians arrived at Wayland to take back this planet that was a major defeat for the Clans when the Zealots of the Primeval invaded. But such victory couldn't give them more time to their short, damned lived existence. Ironic how a state full of savage warmongers couldn't endure as much as the Mandalorians when their enemies were scattered and weak during that time. The Primeval were now just a laughing stock of the Galaxy, showing false promises to those that they would conquer; and that's how Vilaz liked it.

But now he had a new enemy to focus on: his vode. Almost everything within the cloning facility was cleared out, but their were still some equipment to ship out which would take time to be uninstalled and transported to a shuttle which would take the instruments to another world under the sovereign of Death Watch.

"Y'all best hurry up," the Field Marshal barked at his men, "otherwise, you'll be seeing your sorry little ass being whipped until no blood is left in your veins." It was probably not true, but he had to give these Warriors an incentive to work faster before their enemies came within the hold of the mountain.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reconnaissance units were selectively chosen to gather information behind the lines of the of the True Mandalorians and guerrilla warfare practitioners were stationed on the main roads to sabotage supply lines and infantry movement. Anti-personnel and anti-air artillery were place at some of the highest peaks of the mountain ready to fire barrages of explosives onto the multiple command centres of the True Mandalorians, but were vulnerable to hostile air units; however, they would be protected by fighters and interceptors. The main goal wasn't to fight off their siege of the mountain; the main goal was to evacuate all Death Watch personnel, weapons and ammunition, and cloning tubes that produced a majority of the army for Death Watch. Indeed, the True Mandalorians came with a high density force, but they would have difficulties maneuvering through the jungles to mountain with the already established Death Watch units at their positions.

Crash
[2/20]

Draco walked from the ship, waiting for the inevitable build up. Supposedly there were still Primeval Forces on the planet and Draco intended to take a shuttle down to the ground to better survey the situation before he began issuing marching orders to the Mandalorian warriors already moving into position to siege the remnants of Fort Monroe. "Hold the ship steady and wait for my call. There might already be plenty of troops down there." There was such thing as too many soldiers on a battlefield. Too many resulted in packed corridors, high casualty rates due to explosives, and lack of available cover.

The shuttle soared out of the ship, diving towards the planet on screaming engines, howling through the atmosphere as it broke the sound barrier. Inside the shuttle it was quiet and solemn, the Dark Lord sitting alone in the passenger compartment.

All of a sudden the shuttle jerked and shook. The Pilots were instantly expressing worry as they shuttle flew over the jungles below. "What is going on?" He asked without standing from his position.

"Ion blasts sir."

"More, coming from the mountains."

Before Draco could do anything about the information the shuttle shook again and began to sink towards the tree line. A final shudder from an ion blast sealed the shuttle's fate and it slipped below the trees, crashing into them for one hundred yards, knocking them over, leaving a trail of burning debris behind it. When the shuttle finally came to a stop, Draco rose from being thrown against the back of the passenger compartment with a groan. He could already sense the pilot and copilot were dead, heavily injured by branches and debris being thrust through the viewplate.

Again, Isley would whistle. This time, prompting the rather "picky" beast to lower itself once more. This was necessary, as the Cin Bes'uliik was very selective about its riders. In fact, if the Dar'manda had not done so, the War Droid would not have permitted the young Verd to ride it. However, this was not the case at the moment. As the Bes'uliik allowed itself to be boarded by Eirlys, its master made a call. His voice echoed over the comm channel, addressing the cadre of vessels under his command. Already they had been given the details of Mount Tantiss, gleaned from Isley's personal experience. And as such, the following command would not be one of exceptional surprise.

"Ready a duo of Point-Defense Cannons. Fire the instant the Cin exits the hangar. Scramble the fighters to follow me down."

By the time the young Eirlys mounted up, the order would have been received and recognized. The Cin Bes'uliik would then bound out of the hangar and dive into the void of space. High-boost engines then revealed themselves and roared: propelling the two Verds down to the surface below. In their wake came a horde of A/Y-92 Starfighters, some of the best in the Galaxy, who would dedicate themselves to seeing their commander's safe voyage. After all, there was a starfighter presence on the world below. Finally, just as the ships breached the heavens, a shrill burst came blasting by.

It screamed through the heavens and crashed square into the top of Mount Tantiss.

BOOM!

The explosion was not nearly enough to eradicate the mountain. Nor was it intended to. Rather, Isley had created for himself an opening by blowing off the peak. This would provide for him a rather auspicious sequence of circumstances. For one, there was the shock and awe aspect of the tactic. There was nothing better than disrupting an enemy's operation with heavy firepower...and causing parts of the ceiling to cave in. On another note, the Dar'manda provided an in for his allies. Obviously the front door was going to be a much more difficult place to breach, so why not go in through the top?

In the wake of the explosion did Isley fly. Directly into the smoke and monumental dust cloud did he direct his beast. To make the voyage a bit safer, the Bes'uliik's shields were deployed. This gave the beast and its riders a little bit of breathing room whilst they came crashing down onto the ground level. Debris scattered all about them. Bits of ceiling continued to crumble as initial confusion gripped the immediately adjacent members of the Death Watch. And, surprisingly enough, the landing had caused Palpatine's horde to shudder. Hidden caverns, once sealed and forgotten, were cracked open.

Clatter. Clatter. Skitter.

As Isley disembarked from his mount, [member="Vilaz Munin"] would find a piece of history at his feet. A hilt, damaged by the ceiling, that once rallied Mandalorian and Death Watch alike, was now his for the taking. And he would need it to...for a Dar'manda brandishing a Crimson saber was coming his way.

She saw Darco Vereen had of the ship on a shuttle, she figured to follow him another way. She head to the hanger bay, and commandeered a fighter. It was a Avenger Class Starfighter she used a mind trick, to get herself on board and off the ship. She soon was on trail of Draco Vereen shuttle, she was keeping her distance but trying not look like she was keeping her distances. As they entered the atmosphere, it seemed to be more nippy. She thought to herself she might have get herself one of these, as she darted around getting use to it. As she did she saw ion cannon fire heading towards the shuttle, she darted forward to repel the fire power, as she did the shuttle as struck and head down in to the trees below. She got few hit's off on the cannons, but then her ship was hit back. She hit the ejector seat, and shot up in the air, she had no way of controlling it. She could see the shuttle in the trees as she passed over it, chance are by the time she lands, she would be about a mile away. She would trek back and check if he is okay.

She was looking at the man for a moment and wondering what the plan was again. "Ahhh it is the same as plan b-z right? Shoot things until there is soup and then have samples." She said it with a grin hidden by the face mask over her mouth. Eyes looking out at things while she kept movign the rifle and was glad for the strap switching the underbarrel paddle beamer to full just in case they wanted to shoot more of the things that might come at them and try to kill them. Slowly the pint sized mando was moving forward and listening to the motion trackers as the small blips came showing something was out there moving.

Location: In the jungle just before the main entrance of Mount Tantiss
Objective: 2 - Engage recon forces of Death Watch

Enemies: Death Watch
[[Post 1/20]]

--

Marius was assigned to the one of the dozen reconnaissance forces tasked with eliminating scouts for the Death Watch forces and gathering information before deploying a full-scale assault on the Mount Tantiss' storehouse. The Mandalorian Navy had already engaged in securing the airspace of the planet, while Marius and a few other Mandalorians were making their way through thick jungle flora. The helmet's sensors were quite helpful in attaining a little bit of awareness of the recon force's surroundings. The men marched carefully spread in a half-circle formation, with all senses focused on detecting possible enemies before they detected them.

The brief before the assault had introduced the men to the way the assault will comence. The plan showed three different sectors spread in a half-circle facing the Mount's entrance. Those three sectors were labelled as A-B-C, right behind them were sectors D-E-F. Sector F was where currently Marius' squad were operating in, they had to eliminate all threats for the deployment of logistics in this sector. Afterwards they had to proceed to sector C with the same objective. When the objectives were achieved, the deployment would begin and the full-scale attack will begin.

Gripping the beskad in one-hand while his other arm was free for a defensive reason - to utilize the battle functions of his armor. A technophobe by culture and nature, he appreciated the benefits his Mandalorian Eukgar'gam possesed. The scenario currently, reminded Marius of his time raiding other planets with his kin - the Teresmen. On numerous occassions, he would've been thankful of possesing the equipment he currently had, as they would've saved numerous lives of his kin. Ambushes in jungle areas were a logical move. His experience in surviving ambushes had made him even more cautious when such a situation was possible to happen. Such as now. He strained all his senses on being aware of his surroundings, despite the benefit of the technology, Marius always trusted his own natural senses more than any sensor that existed.

"Sector F - Clear." The Teresman reported on the general encrypted Mandalorian channel. His accent as always strong. "Proceeding to Sector C."

So far so good.

And that was bad.

The Death Watch, as he heard his fellow Mandalorians call them, were rumored as ruthless and capable warriors. A splinter group. That is what he had learned from fellow Mandalorians talking. Thus, Marius was worried for the lack of action. The recon force had covered a lot of ground with no action. This never implied anything good. It usually meant the enemy was aware of their actions and was devising a counter-attack. He noticed that a few of the Mandalorians part of the squad looked to loosen up. They probably believed the enemy had been stuffed in the Mount.

The moment the Mandalorian took his next step, a huge explosion was heard in the distance coming from the Mount's direction. His whole body tensed expecting an ambush but none came. The readings on his helmet immediately provided him with the information of what had happened - The Verds were directly storming through the top of Mount Tantiss. Marius immediately considered what that could mean in terms of his opposition - focusing on the sudden breach of their base, shifting resources from defence of the main entrace towards where the breach had occured. It easily could mean that their objective here would be easier, the eventual defence of the main entrance weakened and that was what his fellow Mandalorians believed according to their body language.

It could also mean anything else. Marius' experience in battle had taught him that taking a consideration as a fact could backlash lethally.

"Keep guard." Marius spoke in a broken Basic to his fellow Mandalorians in the recon squad, seeing them losing their tension and possibly their guard. They did not respond at all and it was normal. Marius was still simply a new meat on board. An initiate who had joined the Mandalorians almost a year. The Teresman shook his head and proceeded as cautiously as before.

Location: Wayland, Torrential Forest surrounding Drop Pod landing area
Objective 4: Eliminate pockets of Primeval Resistance
Allies: Mandalorians
...the Drop Pods have descended from the heavens upon breaching the atmosphere of Wayland as the Mandalorians returned to reclaim the world. When Wayland was taken Andras had been on another world, taking part in another battle but now he was here and prepared to assist in the recapture of the planet. Clan Garon had sent a small fleet of ships to assist in retaking the world. Primary objectives had been the recapture of Fort Monroe and Mount Tantiss however the Dark Horse had his own objective, something that aligned with a smaller scale conflict as compared to the retaking of a major objective. Pockets of Primeval resistance still existed and he intended to thin them out...

-----

...the Drop Pod had landed. Retro thrusters engaged to ensure a mitigated descent. Once the Drop Pod had reached the canopy of torrential forest it had broken through and left a hole for the sun to stretch down towards the ground. Landing ramps descended shortly thereafter and a small squadron of Mandalorians descended in short order. The Neo Crusader Armor singled him out amongst the others who wore a more modern Aliit'gam style and Andras, striding out behind the others with a Blaster Rifle shouldered via a strap would raise his arm and check the datapad integrated into the armor while calling out...
"Report!"...before one of the Mandalorians moved closer to him. Nodding his head shortly thereafter Andras would lower his arm and state his instructions via the comms of his helm..."Alright lets establish a perimeter. Everyone stays in pairs and in contact with the teams adjacent to them. Remember intel puts us with pockets of resistance all over this region."...the pairs checked in, a dozen Mandalorians in total and then began to spread out...

...as he moved ahead, accompanied by an Initiate, Andras would activate the ultraviolet optics integrated into the helm of his armor. Due to Wayland's environment and the hot atmosphere of the torrential forest thermal imaging would be somewhat less effective however if required Andras could switch between the two and other options seamlessly. Unshouldering the Blaster Rifle he'd lift it in his hands placing the butt into the crevice of his right shoulder while supporting the underside of the barrel with his left hand as he trained his weapon ahead, dipping it low as he moved so that it aimed towards the ground ahead of him for the moment. The Mandalorians, moving ahead, began to blend with the trees as they started to flush through the foliage and disappear from view...

The peak of the mountain shook violently when explosives came in contact with the metamorphic structure of the tall and proud mountain. The defensive placements positioned at some areas of Mount Tantiss bared minor damage that could be regarded as just a scratch or no damage whatsoever; however, there was one problem caused to the bombardment from the True Mandalorians: there was a small gap at the peak of the mountain. While it wasn't as big to fit a starfighter or, even worse, a dropship it was, however, big enough for something like a Bes'uliik to enter the small opening and cause havoc and death within the reach of the mountain.

Unfortunately, just as what Vilaz hoped not to occur, an iron beast entered through the opening of the peak and contained two humans at its mount. While Vilaz was glad that it was only two hostile Mandalorians, but there was a bes'uliik to neutralize and disable and the arousing question of the mountain being breached. Orders were given out to Death Watch pilots to get to their designated vessels and engage any True Mandalorian aerial vehicle and to keep bes'uliiks from entering the gap of the peak.

Right now, the Redneck had to worry about the two lone infiltrators that were within his sight. "Hold this and make sure a scratch ain't on it," he threw his person, unique crossbow at a nearby Death Watch Mandalorian and ordered him to get out of combat radius just so his weapon wouldn't be harmed at all. Two on one? The Field Marshal has been in much bitter odds than this. He noticed a rectangular hilt at his feet and wouldn't have picked it up if it wasn't for the crimson blade that emerged from Isley. He not only picked up the historical weapon (with his right hand) , but unsheathed his Fett-Kal knife (which was in his left hand) and activated dinu'ul on his left gauntlet. Then he finally activated the lightsaber he was wielding and produced and dark, black blade. There was only one blade in the Galaxy that was known for the color of the blade: the Darksaber. A weapon that was stolen from the Jedi Temple by the Mandalorians during the fall of the Old Republic and became a symbolic item that reflected the leader of either the Death Watch or the True Mandalorians and also united either parties alike.

"What's your name...vod?"

There was always an intimate bond forged between an Alchemist and his Creations.

The sheer amount of effort...The copious sums of Force Energies...The Blood...All of these things made it so that an Alchemist could readily identify his work a mile away. Such was the case with the young member of the Death Watch who readied himself in response to Isley's landing. With haste was a crossbow flung into the waiting arms of a peon before a knife, one of the first projects Isley had ever worked on, was drawn. Alongside it, the Death Watch operative leaned over and picked up that piece of history.

And its abyssal blade sang into being.

Anyone remotely close to Mandalorian culture knew of the weapon...and what it meant for the Death Watch. It was a symbol of unification: a banner to rally behind. It was synonymous with power. Ferocity. It epitomized the simple mantra: "Only the Strongest may Rule Mandalore." Yet was this young man worthy of wielding the weapon? Was this incarnation of the Death Watch worthy of ruling Mandalore? No. No on both accounts. From what the Dar'manda had heard, they had resorted to tactics of terrorist nature. They spilled Mandalorian blood, killed their own vode, during a time in which the Primeval still existed.

And so Isley bridged the gap. He gave his saber a light flourish before coming to a halt only a few paces away from the operative. Then the whelp had the gall to ask his name...and to address him as vode.

"You call me brother, yet you kill our people." he began, addressing Vilaz in Mando'a. "You make war against Mandalore when our true enemies grow stronger each day. Such nerve. Such arrogance."

Isley thrust his offhand forward, commanding the Force to obey. A telekinetic explosion shrieked from his being, intent on flinging the Operative back and across the ground.

"My name is Isley. Father of Clan Verd."

Objective: II - Mount Tantiss
Allies: [member="Isley Verd"]
Enemies: [member="Vilaz Munin"]

Being allowed to mount the beast before her truly allowed Eirlys to feel what it was like to be considered a part of Clan Verd, and while trained from birth to follow the Resol’nare it wasn’t until this very moment that she truly embraced the path forward. Isley stated his orders as she positioned herself on the the seat of the Cin Bes’uliik, the beast beginning its advance through the hanger before diving into the void of space. The sensation of a mount capable of anything a starship could while still symbolising something alive was new to Eirlys, it sent a chilling sensation through her spine that made her both fearful and excited of the beast that Isley controlled.

A wave of star fighters flew in their wake, each dedicated in their cause to assure that the Cin Bes’uliik reached planet side intact. Their formations swirled and shifted organically, almost like a dancers of the Dathomirian Tribes, when one would sweep to the side another would gracefully replace it from the other direction. It was magical to watch and appreciated even by one who was bred for war.

Through the sky a lance of pure energy ripped through their area, the static charge left in it’s wake filling the air with a buzzing sensation that added to the amplification of the situation. Another followed and then a third. The barrage of fire continued through the atmosphere until it collided with a deafening thud into the top of the Mountain beneath them. Clouds of rock and dirt erupted into the sky over Wayland as the top of the mountain was ripped from it’s base. Like a volcano it shot dust and smoke into the air before allowing it to fall like rain through the surrounding forests. It was a shot of perfection and the breach had been made.

The sky was replaced with the interior of the mountainside. Scattering forces of the Deathwatch moved like ants as they fled the demon that had collapsed the rock into their safe haven.
Eirlys was off the Cin Bes’uliik as Isley was dismounted, her blaster pulled up as the crimson blade erupted from Isley’s hand. At her waist the metal of a Beskad lay awaiting her fingers to bring it too bare.

The hundreds of Mandalorian Initiates, and a Rally Master continued to move in, and they soon reached a mine shaft. The Anzat couldn’t sense anyone in this location other than them, but he couldn’t exactly say the same if he had entered the mine shaft. Dralos prepared himself to fight, mentally, and physically. He knew that the Death Watch were a group that stretched for millennia, and were certainly well trained to attack Mandalore. He would do whatever it took to avenge his fallen Verde, one way or another.

“Ok, listen up. There are 4 large entrances here; each lead to Mount Tarris. We are dividing into four groups. You, you, you, and you will lead the groups. I want 60 men to stay here, and guard the entrance of the mine shaft. Instantly report to us if you are attacked. Stay vigilant, and be aware of weapons like grenades, sniping rifles, etc. ” The Rally Master stated, his voice certainly showing the fact that he was a veteran.

Dralos was placed in the group that was going through the middle entrance, and as they entered the mine shaft, he could see a small amount of minerals that were on the floor. They were too small to amount to anything valuable, such as plates on an armor, but Dralos made sure that when he returned, he would be make sure to mine here, in order to get himself his own set of personal armor.

The Mandalorian Initiates had various weapons, but each had the same armor that Dralos had. He was well aware that it was created by Draco Veeren, the Aliit’or of Clan Vereen. The Anzat was impressed with this armor, and one day, he hoped to thank him for creating it.

“Move out.” the Rally Master stated, and the units went into the entrances. Since the entrances (and the interior of the mine shaft) were so large, they didn’t need to move in a line. Dralos made sure to keep an eye out for anything dangerous through the usage of the force, because he knew he, and his unit would most likely depend on it.

Kaeda moved from the bridge as they reached orbit of the world. She slipped her helmet on, then primed her battle rifle. She was ready to retry her hand against the Deathwatch. Last time she had done so, she had been woefully unprepared. She'd been in her hunters garb, carrying hunters weaponry and trying to sharpen her skills at forging.

Now she was primed in superior armor, with superior weaponry and was focused on one thing, destruction of the enemy.

She settled into her drop pod, secured the hatch and hit the launch key.

Gravity pressed against her as she hurtled at illogical speeds towards the ground. She breathed in through her nose and out through her mouth as she had been trained to do. After a minute of aggressive hurtling towards dirt, the chute deployed, rapidly slowing the pod so she could survive the next part.

Landing.

The hatch popped open, and Kaeda sprung out with a force augmented leap. She directed her leap to the foot of a tree. Her HUD showed activity nearby, but was clearing out the Death watch signals from true friendlies, so Kaeda wound her way into the woods a few meters, then knelt down, ready.
