Dantooine. A planet famous for farming, farming and farming. Oh, and sith attacks but that's neither here nor there. Dantooine is where Lestra was born and raised. Your typical farmer. Well, except for the fact that he'd rather have spent time with the Kath Hounds than doing his chores. As a wee bairn, Lestra has always had a connection with his more furry companions. Whilst his parents were always worried that the wild beasts would attack their precious son, their fears would be for naught. If anything, the Kath Hounds did their best to help protect the lad from other dangers on the planet!
HISTORY
It would take a few years before the family would realise that Lestra's connection to the beasts came from his Force Sensitivity. And hooo boy, was that a wake up call for Lestra! If he was Force Sensitive, that meant he wouldn't have to waste his days tilling the field! Not that he didn't like farming. It just felt like he was destined for something more in life! So he begged and pleaded with his parents to let him go and join the Jedi to learn! Who knows, maybe he could find a few new techniques to use for farming!
With their blessing, he headed off to join the Academy and whilst his first few months there have been entertaining enough, Lestra has found himself missing the company of his beloved Hounds. The lack of nature felt strange to him but he knew it was simply going to be a case of homesickness and he could get over that!...He hoped.
