Private Lesson's on Jutrand

Fresh off his meeting with the Sith Emperor, Zachariah walked.

Part of his coming to Jutrand, other than to discover who he was outside of just being a former slave, was to gain knowledge in the Force outside of just what he was being taught by Arcturus Dinn Arcturus Dinn . For that reasons, lesson's had been arranged with a Sith known as Darth Patiens. Zachariah wasn't sure what was due to be covered, but he'd agreed to the lessons none the less. It was useful, the boy realised, to get multiple views on his training as each one may offer something different.

Walking through the streets of Jutrand, he smiled softly.

Soon after arriving on Jutrand, he'd been summoned by the Sith Emperor. He hadn't realised how tense the situation had made him until it was over and he understood the reasons for the summoning. Once he'd had the meeting and everything made sense, he found the tenseness within his body had eased. He found himself no long stressing about the meeting and able to focus on the upcoming training session for which he had agreed to.

Zachariah realised he had met Arcturus' father. He had met the man who had rescued his mentor from slavery and whom had taught his mentor the ways of the Force. His mentor had carried on the pattern and rescued Zachariah from slavery and had begun the process of teaching him the ways of the Force.

Whilst he walked, he wondered exactly what he would be taught during his session. He wondered if they would focus on the use of the Force, similar to what he'd been learning with Arcturus or if they would instead be focusing on the art of combat with a lightsaber. Zachariah double checked he had his weapon at his hip just to be safe. He wanted his weapon with him if they were going to be studying the different forms of lightsaber combat.

He remembered the fear he had felt in the presence of the Emperor of the Sith. He remembered how ice cold the throne room had felt. How large it was yet how small it felt. Whatever his teacher decided to put him through, nothing could cause the boy to come close to that level of fear. The living corpse had been something truly horrific, not that he would ever admit that of course. Anything that his lecturer decided to put him through, he reckoned he could handle after standing face to face with the Sith Emperor and walking out with his life.

The young boy approached the designated meeting space. He was early, he had ensured he would be. The reasoning for why he was early was simple. It was his belief that setting a good impression would go a long way. It showed respect to the person whom would be teaching him. It showed that he valued his time and appreciated that time was being taken out to provide lessons to the young boy.

Zachariah waited for his teacher to arrive, and lessons to begin.

Though Zachariah thought he had arrived early he in fact had not. for in the shadows hidden by force concealment Darth Patiens watched him. This would be his first lesson to see just how Zachariah dealt with an opponent that he could not sense. Using the force Darth Patiens outstretched his right hand sending arcs of pitch black Sith Lightning at the unsuspecting young Sith apprentice.

Lightning coursed through his body.

Every hair on his flesh stood at attention, lightning coursing across his skin. He dropped to a knee, letting out an audiable gasp. He watched as lightning danced between his fingers, from head to toe black arcs of electricity spread across the young boy. The smell of burning flesh filled the air slightly, a side effect of the electricity coursing through the boy.

Yet, he seemed mostly okay. Years of abuse at the hands of a cruel, manipulitive slave master meant this wasn't his first experience with Force Lightning. Over the years, he'd desensitised himself to it, to the point he could now shrug it off as nothing worse than a sting. He'd been abused with lightning over and over, hundreds of times. It couldn't harm him anymore.

Once the black electricity had stopped, Zachariah climbed back to his feet. The young boy took a few seconds to regain his senses. Whilst he'd come out of the lightning attack mostly unscathed, it still took him a few moments to shake off the cobwebs and grogginess it had left him with. Once he was fully back with realty, he took a look around.

"You'd attack an innocent child in the streets? What brings you to the home of the Sith?"
