Lesson One: Will of the Force

[member="Mr. Bones"]

Arriving on Kashyyyk Tycho walked along with his young daughter, whom was more excited about being here than he is. He has been here countless times in the past, but this is the first time for the child. So naturally she would stop to gaze at the trees and Wookies that would pass by. Then there would come the endless question. His wife was better at handling the bombardment of questions than he is, but the man did his best to answer them.

Then after the questions came the curiosity, leading the girl to let go of his hand. She knew not to leave his line of sight, so his daughter only ran a few feet ahead of him to gaze up at the tall trees and wildlife they happened to come across. Tycho had been doing his best to keep things as normal as possible for his daughter. But as time qent on it got harder for him to accept what has happened and the possibility his wife is gone for good. He even left his job as a soldier because of it leaving him too broken to do his job efficiently. So to not put soldiers at risk or his commanders, Tycho went AWOL. Yes it probably means he would be arrested if caught but he had no idea what else to do.

At first before he met Ashlyna he was not a believer in the force. But after he met her and she explained aspects of it, well he became a bit more of a believer as time went on. But after the attack by the Mandalorians that resulted in him losing his wife and almost his daughter in the process. Tycho is not too sure in regards to what he thinks about the force.

His thoughts were dragged away though when his daughter took off running, "Rylla!" He yelled as Tycho took off after her just to watch her run into someone up ahead due to her not paying attention to where she is going, "I am so sorry, Sir." He apologized as his daughter hid behind Tycho's legs, "She gets a little carried away sometimes and doesn't watch where she is going."

The ex soldier prayed that whoever this was would not drag him into the base for questioning. He knew that since going AWOL that there is a good chance.of that happening where ever he goes.

Dopi liked to wander the Forest Floor from time to time, especially near the beaches of Kashyyyk. It allowed him to be alone with his thoughts, or in this case, with the Sith Holocron that he was holding. He was simply staring at it and twirling it in his hand when he felt someone bump into his legs. He focused his attention from the uniquely looking Holocron to find a little girl at his feet. "Oh, Hello Little one. What are-?"

His question was cut short due to the girl's father, [member="Tycho Draykon"], Coming up from behind her and apologizing. He witnessed the young girl move behind her father, and he chuckled as he explained away. Dopi did sense something about the man...His Stance, His Tone of Voice, His reasoning for being here...He was afraid. All Dopi did after the man was done apologizing was chuckle and shake his head.

"Stand down Soldier. I do not have any means to report you to...Whoever your Commanding Officer was, for going AWOL. Hell, I did not even know there was a Military Installation on Kashyyyk, but since you're here, I might as well introduce myself."

Dopi held his hand out to the soldier, a smile on his face. "I am Dopi...Dopi Bones, a Master of the Silver Jedi Order. And from what I can sense, you must of be an Officer from that base as well."

"I am not sure if my commanding officer is still here. I just know he will drill into me for the reasons I went AWOL. I am not even sure if the installation is still here or if my unit was moved elsewhere." Tycho was in all honesty relieved that this man is not going to go reporting him to whoever is in the base though. He is not one hundred percent ready to go back to being a soldier. Not when he doesn't have any means to make sure his daughter will be safe and taken care of. So until he either finds the girl's mother or find someone who he can trust to take care of Rylla while he is away on missions, he can't do any missions. Plus he does not want to run off and wind up leaving his child orphaned. Though he does suspect that his child is a force sensitive.

Oh so this man is a Jedi Master? Well this is the first time that he has met a Jedi Master. He seemed to be a good person to be around so far. The soldier smiled as he shook the Jedi's hand, "Tycho Draykon at your service." The man nodded, "Yes. Lieutenant Draykon." Tycho replied wondering if he had heard of his earlier skirmishes and sabotage missions he had led in the past. Though he did hope that the man cannot sense that at one point he was a criminal gang leader.

He gestured to his daughter that had by now come out of hiding, "This is my daughter Rylla Draykon. She loves to explore new places. But she sometimes gets too excited and doesn't watch where she is going. Hence why she ran into you." He explained as the soldier introduced his daughter to the Jedi Master. The man bit his bottom lip, "She is part of the reason I went AWOL." The soldier explained.

"Yes, I recognize the name. You were a part of an operating force that searched for...Artifacts, were you not?" He waved his free hand to the young girl, a smile still beaming on his face. He was still twirling what now appeared to be a Black Sith Holocron with a golden tip and white dots on the sides that mimicked the appearance of Stars. Dopi nodded his head a bit as he thought, before piping up again, recalling [member="Tycho Draykon"] Stating that his daughter was one of the reasons he went AWOL.

"I see...You're lucky to have a man such as him to be your Father, Little Rylla. If he is willing to sacrifice his career for you, then that means he is willing to die for you." He walked away a bit before sitting down on a nearby tree stump, his Lightsaber Pike already there leaning on the stump. "Please, Both of you, sit down and relax. If you wish, I can teach you something, even if you are not Force Sensitive, Tycho. I would say the same for Little Rylla, but...Well...If her mother was Force Sensitive, then it might explain our little run in before names were exchanged."

"Yes I was along with a number of other operations." He confirmed as he watched his daughter wave back to the jedi with a bright smile on her face. Her eyes then settled on the Holocron. Though she shyly went back to hiding behind her father's legs.

She then nodded quickly when Dopi spoke up about her father, "Yeah! He is a good daddy. He beat bad Manda.. Manda meanies to get me away from them!" She told the Jedi Master as she followed her father over to another tree stump that was across from the Jedi, "What is that in your hand?" She asked curiously as her eyes fixed back onto the holocron. Her head tilting a bit as she looked at the strange object.

His daughter took a seat on Tycho's lap as he was taken aback a bit then noted that Jedi are able to read minds or determine answers through a person's emotions, "Y-Yes my wife was a Jedi Knight. I would not be surprised if Rylla is force sensitive." The officer tilted his head, "What do you have in mind to teach us?" He asked as he set his rifle down, leaning it against another stump. Either the Master did read his thoughts or emotions. Or the Master senses that his daughter is a force sensitive and knew it is the mother who is force sensitive.

"Well, Little Rylla...This object is known as a Holocron. It is mainly used by both Jedi and Sith to store knowledge of the force and information inside of it. They can only be opened by Force Users proficient in whichever side of the force the Holocron is aligned with." He used the basic Force power of Telekinesis to give the object to Rylla, trusting her with the unique object as he explained what it specifically was to both her and [member="Tycho Draykon"]. "This Specific Holocron is called the Eos Holocron, or quite literally known as the Black Holocron. It is said it contains the knowledge of every Grand Master of the Force Sensitive Group known as the Dark Brotherhood, Dark Jedi who used the Dark and the Lightside to do evil things was contained inside, along with the knowledge of a location known as the Star Chamber.

Dopi then realized he just explained a great deal of confusing things to a little girl and thought back to Tycho's comment about her mother being a Jedi Knight. He thought about it for a couple of seconds, before nodding his head at Tycho. "Anyway, Besides a short history lesson about a Holocron, I am open to teaching you what you want to learn, from abilities of the Force to just basic History of the Force and the Orders that utilize it."
