STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
+ Deftly Dexterous: Lesath is small, and as a result she has a lot to make up for in her lack of physical and metaphysical abilities. Swift of foot and sleight of hand, she is rather roguish in nature which has aided in keeping her alive throughout the years.
+ Fiery Nature: What happens when someone envies their elders? Lesath is an extremely defiant young lady with high flying passions which often lead her into difficult situations - after all, if you cannot fight yet constantly try to fight your way out of situations, then you're going to have a hard time...
- Pure Vulnerability: When in the presence of pure air, found on planets such as Tython which have remained untouched from pollution and corruption, Lesath can find it difficult to breathe. This, in turn, can leave her fatigued both physically and in terms of her Force affinity. While this is a hereditary trait, as Lesath was not born on Uba IV - and is thus not a 'true Ubese' - it is not as severe as others of her species.
- Raspy Voice: Communication with someone who can barely speak can be rather difficult and frustrating. Not only is Lesath's voice raspy, she is also forced into a constantly whispered level of vocalisation that leaves much of what she says inaudible.
- Small Stature: Being that Lesath is just a child, she is both physically small and weak. This leaves her vulnerable and for the most part unable to push forward her own path in life, relying on others to assist her instead. As a result, Lesath often begrudges those who are older and taller than she is - but it is little more than envy, as she would never really do anything against them.
- Untrained Potential: Lesath is aware of her Force Sensitivity, however she has never been trained. This leaves her frustrated, as she cannot reach her potential nor does she currently have any way of progressing her capabilities. The result of this is that Lesath is fairly weak in the Force - although her affinity is at least remotely noticeable.
APPEARANCE:
The first thing you would notice upon glancing down at Lesath is her height. Even for a seven year old, she is rather small of stature and gaunt in appearance. Next comes the eyes, large pools of water rippling in the light, never seeming to still, quickly followed by the marring of her right cheek. The branding of a Slave. Her attire is thin and scratchy on the skin, the material quality poor and torn. Her skin is mostly dirty and her appearance is ragged. Yet even so, this particular child is often found wearing a smile which brightens up her face and causes her little nose to wrinkle.
BIOGRAPHY:
Lesath was born to second generation Ubese born away from Uba IV, meaning that her respiratory capabilities were stronger than her parents at birth despite still being lacking. From the beginning she was a cheery child, always smiling in one way or another and rarely crying even when she wanted feeding or was tired. In fact she was more likely to laugh in order to grab the attention of her devoted parents than anything else. She lived this way for the first four years of her existence, upon the quiet world of Alderaan, but all that changed when the Sith came.
It began with the takeover of neighbouring Coruscant, which shook the Core Worlds, and soon Alderaan too was under their sway. To begin with, very little changed... But after a time the difficulties began to shine through, and in a very unfortunate state of affairs Lesath was separated from her parents. She never found out a solid reason why - although she questioned as many people as she could - and within less than a few weeks she too was swiped by the same strange dark forces.
The next thing she knew she was on Teth, passed into the hands of slavers who sought to sell her on to whoever paid the most for her. Yet she was small and gaunt, and thus no one with true intentions had any interest in her, and the rest were not willing to admit it. As a result she was kept for some time, a personal slave to the slavers who constantly sought to sell her on.
