DESCRIPTION

Legkokamu is a simple construct that enables relatively quick changes of camouflage schemes on starfighters and small capital ships. Composed of fiberplast, Legkokamu sheets are simply wrapped and adhered to the hull and/or wings of a small spacecraft for on-the-fly paint scheme alterations. The product is formed in a similar fashion to sewing patterns in order to conform the camouflage covering to various ships, making sure that armaments and viewports are not covered and therefore targeting and visual guidance is not impeded. While the material itself is durable, it does not improve the shielding or armor of ships.

Typical application processes administered by standard ground crew require approximately one hour for starfighter hulls of average dimension. Because the shape of each wrapping is manufactured differently depending on the specified ship, and because it is an ungainly material at extreme sizes, Legkokamu cannot be applied to ships exceeding corvette dimensions.

A military-exclusive version exists with a Gletcher coating for concealing vessels in space.

If I'm reading this correctly, while this is applied, it would effectively cover up the guns and impede firing until removed. If that's the case, please list under weaknesses. If not, please describe how the ship in question would fire through it. Thanks much.
