Jaina's raises wrist up to helmet's charcoal black grille and speaks seated in the Upsilon-class command shuttle beside their charge. "All Skull callsigns this is Skull-three radiocheck, over." The woman's distinct Corulag-like inflexion fills the cramped cold confines of the shuttle, each of the three Shadowtroopers seated around the passenger compartment respond in kind to Jaina's radio-check, their comms checked out. It was just a standard procedure to observe after breaching a planet's ionosphere. Any Navy Officers from the fleet who had joined Admiral Rausgeber and his retinue would hear each of the FOSB Shadowtroopers check off, they were more or less a recognition of Admiral Rausgeber's importance to the First Order's war effort. Admiral Rausgeber had become one of the Military's many faces and the FOSB were going to be sure that commanded fear and respect, with a team of shadowy and ruthless troopers worth an army in their own right at the Admiral's beck and call only the inexperienced or foolish would dare threaten his person or attempt to board the Malice. They were also the Admiral's hands of sorts, his eyes, ears and mouth when away from the Malice. Afterall Ventor still held a commission in the Navy though she rarely wore the uniform anymore.

"It's all been bloody marvellous..."
The FIV Malice slowly descended through the clouds, drooping the mine under it, in its distinctive shadow. From the ventral hangar, a single lambada-class shuttle deployed, trailed by four TIE Special Forces fighters. Sitting with the admiral were the usual guests, General Lucien Montague, his army adjunct. Commodore Welden Rellard, Carlyle's second in command, and finally Captain Erwin Derstardt, commanding officer of the FIV Vindicator, a ship which was to see similar refitting over Val'Halla.

"We are on final approach admiral," The shuttle pilot began, "Prepare for landing, it is a current, twenty two degrees with a light drizzle." The chauffer added.

Carlyle nodded, "I wonder how on schedule they are down there." Carlyle pondered aloud, "I've heard nothing but bad news from the reports given to me by the Department of Industry."

"We'll see the progress for ourselves." Montague advised, "Who knows how bad things have been. The department has probably been more interested in securing projects elsewhere, I wouldn't think too much of it."

"I hope you're right Montague."Carlyle quietly mused, "I hope you're right...."

Jaina heaves up her DC-15a and gives it a brief inspection of the weapon with her emerald spheres from behind the partially transparent visor and exhales sharply. Jaina is bored, essentially all this was is an investigation and she thought one more under the jurisdiction of Governor Isianthar. Isianthar was some alien from Kaeshana who in the eyes of the Dosuun native is an opportunist whose motivations for joining the First Order are selfish at best and duplicitous at worst. The shuttle's airfoils make an audible 'whirrr' inside the cabin while it descends towards a landing pad, Admiral Rausgeber's shuttle followed closely behind. This flight plan was in part devised by Ventor herself, using the Upsilon as a decoy but only filled with Junior Officers and Skull Unit normally, going ahead to draw any fire and clear hostiles as necessary "We're touching down in ten seconds, standby." Hearing a most coarse call from Skull-Alpha; 'Ordo' each one of the four Shadowtroopers Jolt up from their seats, Gallows beside Ventor dwarfing the significantly smaller woman. Their left arms raise up hands clasping overhead guard rails welded to the ceiling, swaying gently as the Upsilon Shuttles' feet bend gently against the Durasteel platform before raising the shuttle level on the four different supports. With a hiss the shuttle's ramp drops down. "Go!" The Shadowtroopers of Skull Unit file down the ramp quickly and just as the light of Val'hala's sun greets then a roar.

Jaina's body is thrown skidding along the durasteel platform before plummetting a short distance and landing in the open hand of an excavator, the unconscious woman's legs hanging limp towards the Earth. Upsilon shuttle swelters in the heat as miners stare in awe of the sudden explosion. A faint lime aerosol trail in the air leads back to a surveillance and employee monitoring tower for the mine. Humans wearing respirators and clasping heavy hoses sprint towards the charred remains of the Upsilon shuttle, debris and parts scattered across its landing platform with landing platform number two adjacent to number one where the Upsilon lies receiving a small amount of shrapnel from the explosion.

"It's all been bloody marvellous..."
"We're going to be delayed," The Shuttle Pilot began, "Rerouting to platform forty two, gamma." The pilot adds, the shuttle visibly swerves away from the explosion. Carlyle looks at the other senior officers, shocked. There's a look of fear and apprehension in the others eyes. They were by no means cowards, but they had certainly be caught unawares. Carlyle certainly was.

The admiral unclipped himself from his seat, taking away the fasteners and walking briskly to the cockpit. The admiral watched a thick plume of smoke begin to rise from the ruins of the decoy shuttle, "What the kark happened?!" Carlyle snarled at the two pilots.

"The decoy shuttle sir, something went wrong, it's blown up." The pilot began, "We're going to-"

"Set us down, I want rescue crews there on the double!" The admiral blustered, his face turning red. The pilots turned to their commanding officers, the two, usual TIE jockeys had lost their cocksure grins, and the mischeivious spark in their eyes.

"No can do admiral," The co-pilot began, "We have to go, and make sure you're safe." The pilot began, "The security team would want to-"

"Kark the security team!" Carlyle began, "Set us down now, or else I'll have both of you court martialed!" The admiral barked. There was a moment of silence between the trio, as the pilots tried to rectify their obligations to the chain of command, and to the admirals safety. Eventually a decision was made.

"Understood sir, proceeding to landing," The pilot relented, before eyeing Carlyle sternly, "Please, strap yourself in, for our sake." He added, satisfied, Carlyle returned to his seat. He silently began lamenting the position of his security force, fearing what would come of them.

Jaina's eyes lazily open and are greeted by the blue sky's visage although something is wrong there was an unusual sense of tranquility and docility that has swept over the Shadowtrooper. Rolling lazily out of the excavator's arm she falls briefly and then rolls down a short mountain of unearthed, rich chocolate soil before steadily coming to a halt with a sharp exhale with a piece of metal driven deeper. With a numb body and docility settling in, the bloodied Shadowtrooper goes to stand faced with a stunned gaggle of Miners. Stumbling for a moment she musters the strength to raise her blaster loosely in their direction with a blank expression on her lacerated visage visible through a gaping hole in the Duraplast helmet above left-eye. "No, please don't shoot us!" The three fluorescent orange vest wearing men cower, though the Stormtrooper seems to relent and continue hobbling calmly towards the landing pad where Admiral Rausgeber's shuttle looks to find a perch. The woman seemed oblivious to her greivous wounds and many shocked miners and emergency crews simply looked on with a mixture of horror and alarm as the armed woman seemed to continue on without aim after threatening some innocent men while ostensibly in complete serenity.
