Sabine stood silently as she looked over a curiosity, a letter that one of her coven had been asked to deliver to her personally. She stood silently for a moment clad from head to toe in a black garment that was one part armor and one part elegance. Amber's eyes turned to and began to examine the courier in question. She did not doubt the sincerity of the young woman but regardless it was a curiosity. Cautiously the elder vampirka opened the sealed envelope, obviously whoever the sender was knew much about her a datapad or a communication was of no interest to her, to get her attention you would need something unique and uncommon. A small smile touched the ashen woman's lips as she read the contents.

“Hrm. It would seem my plans for the evening had changed” she bid the young woman before her to rise with the simplest lift of her finger. “You have done well, go I will see to your reward upon my return.” Sabine glided soundlessly past her only pausing for a moment to rest a hand on her shoulder. “Continue in this way, and you will go far.” withdrawing her hand she continued on as another of her servants met her at the door and wrapped the cloak around her. “Will you require an escort my Lord?” he queried her hesitantly. Her eyes turned from the door ahead to meet his, she could feel his fear, this one was always fun to torment. He both loved and feared her, it was a good state to keep him in. Her left hand rose and touched his cheek gently “No, not this time. Tend to the others until my return.” As simply as that she withdrew her hand and exited the building.

Verun was to Sabine in a word inhospitable, it was insufferably warm and entirely too bright for her. If not for the gift of the former Nightmother she would have had to have left some time ago her dwelling within the capitol was temporary. Those of the coven that were not with her were deep in the wilds of Verun seeking a worthy place to build her a permanent home. She recalled the latest surveys in the south there were promising places there that were both cool enough and remote enough.

As she walked through the night air, she relished the cool breeze slowing her past only a bit to enjoy the rare cool evening air. She drew close to a nondescript building with a pair of guards standing by the doors, the Dominous was clear on criminal activity, he tolerated it up until the point he had to intervene, that is why such events as this one were invitation only and only those who had the right pull were allowed in. As she approached the door she held out the invitation to one of the guards who simply nodded and handed it back to her. “Have a good evening” was all he stated as the white haired woman slipped past him and inside. On a good day a tome would would necessitate her attention but if it was truly from Naga Sadow? Then she would rend Verun itself to get her hands upon it.

Aliza had feelers out all through Ascendancy space, even going so far as to keep in contact with a couple of friends she'd developed over the years in the mid rim. As such when someone offered her an invitation to an auction of rumored ancient Sith artifacts, well… That got Aliza's attention real fast. Of course, the price for the invitation wasn't anything to sneeze at, it would wipe out the investment profits from the last three years of her portfolio. It was the work of minutes to liquidate the necessary funds and turn them over for the archaic invitation. Aliza looked at the words contained within dubiously, whoever was selling these objects seemed to need to catch up to modern standards.

Noting that the location of the sale was actually fairly close by Aliza arched a brow before inhaling slowly. While she was inclined to go undercover, she had a feeling that the price tag would be far, far out of her reach… meaning she was going to be getting into a fight, and as such she'd be going fully armored. The woman went to her office in the temple, leaving a notice for her students that she wouldn't be reachable for a time. Then she went to her quarters and started to prepare. The armor she wore was a remarkably similar set to the one she'd originally crafted in training. However, over time she'd added a few, improvements to the design. Cortosis strands laced the under-suit, and beskar steel plates were spaced out sufficiently to protect her core areas, while allowing maximum mobility for her during a fight. The cortosis was there simply to make up for the loss in protection caused by the gaps necessitated for freedom of movement. The helm was a light beskar composite that should protect her against most things, and had a built-in com unit, along with a small data link, and HUD unit.

Her lightsaber was hung on a combat belt at her waist, which also contained a small blaster, some assorted grenades and a vibroblade. All in all, she looked like she was going into a hostile landing zone by the time she walked out of the quarters allocated for her by the order. Her presence drew down to a mere spec, and then even further, while she smoothed out the lack of presence caused by her cloak with a touch of power. She should feel like a typical mundane in another force users' senses, if they could even pick her out of the background 'noise' of the life surrounding them on Verun. Satisfied with her efforts, the young woman hoped a ride into the outskirts of town where the auction was purported to be taking place.

Once she spotted the correct building Aliza hung out in the shadows, watching the people entering to gauge if her current outfit was going to be to much. The expectation was that these people probably weren't planning to get into combat, and as such she'd likely be overdressed for the occasion. Should that prove true, the Sith Sorceress was going to look for alternative entrances to the site.

UG850b6.jpg

Sabine gracefully slipped past the man guarding the front door and reached up with both hands as she removed the hood of her cloak from her head. Stepping lightly through the crowd she found a seat near where the one accepting the bids would see her clearly, there were some present who knew her she could feel their eyes upon her already that she was there meant only that whatever prize they had their eye one, if Sabine also coveted it they would have no chance.

She gracefully slid into the seat she had chosen as others around milled about the room and waited for the auction to begin. She in particular had no interest in socializing, there was no one here of value or interest to her. It was no slight to them, she just had very particular interests and most present were not qualified to discuss things on her level and so the elder vampirika sat quietly waiting unlike most Sith she was eternally patient when she knew what she wanted would eventually be hers.

Still at the edge of her senses the force seemed to warn that something was off, perhaps the auction itself was a trap. Who really could say, if it was, it would be very unfortunate for the organizer that trap and Sabine would walk away with her prize, or a price extracted in blood for wasting her time.

Aliza noted the fact that, yes, she was indeed overdressed. Which suited her just fine. Slinking around to the side of the building she started to search for a way inside. Meanwhile her presence remained cloaked in sheer normality. Of course, the fact that there was a presence could spark some interest. But hopefully not as she wasn't planning to be seen normally in the first place. And thus it was that she found a ventilation shaft that just so happened to be perfectly positioned for her to sneak in. The laser grid that acted as an alarm for it was a bit of a issue however. So it took her a bit of concentration, and a slight touch of the force to trick the machine into happily humming away like there wasn't an issue in the whole world.

As a consequence the aura of mundanity about her person slipped briefly, maybe 10 seconds where a presence in the force was more than it seemed, before she could refocus, and start to crawl her way inside the building, neatly avoiding all the annoying security measures that she would've had to fight her way through otherwise... Granted, she wasn't any where close to reaching the vault which stored all the items on sale, and also any force users inside paying attention would probably feel their mental ears prick up if they noticed the anomoly in her presented presence.

UG850b6.jpg

Thankfully Sabine's eternal patience would not be tested tonight, as who she surmised as the auctioneer took the stage the crowd began to gravitate to their seats which meant she was closer to her prize. The auction began with fierce betting on some of the antiquities that no doubt legitimate businessmen collected from all over the galaxy. She honestly looked bored for the first half of the action, until a certain pair of items were brought out a Sith holocron, she perked a bit until she heard it belonged to Darth Malgus and waved her hand dismissively.

The finally the big prize of the evening was brought to the forefront, the whole room went quiet and a smile touched the lips of the vampirika, she examined as closely as she could from her seat, which was regrettably much further away than she would have liked. The bidding started at 100,000 credits for the Tome of Naga Sadow, she knew it was worth far more than that, she also knew she had near unlimited resources to acquire it. A datapad in front of the auctioneer chirped as Sabine sent an offer. 5,000,000 credits. As the auctioneer read the number aloud the room fell quiet, one dared to try and upstage her. He bid 7,000,000 so she priced him out with a counter offer of 14,000,000. The man had a look of utter defeat on his face.

"No more bids? Then Sold to Lady Delacroix for 14,000,000 credits." Sabine rose and walked toward the auctioneer who dutifully took her hand as she approached and helped her up on the dias. Did she need the help? Not at all but it was part of a role that she did play well. She walked toward her prize and placed a hand over it, normally one would not be permitted to take the item right away but as it was her and she was a known quantity exceptions were allowed when you were as rich and powerful as her.

Finally made her way into the basement of the establishment. Just one guard stood at the base of the stairs, easy enough to avoid. She prowled through the room silently, searching for the artifact that had been mentioned, when from above she heard a gasp, and announcement of 14 million credits being offered for a single item. Sighing softly, she nodded, that sounded like her goal. Good thing she hadn't tried to buy it legitimately. The woman strode up to the guard, dropping her stealth as she used force stun on him to bypass him. No need to kill the poor man, who was only doing his job after all.

Emerging into the darkened alcove set off to the side of the stage that the auctioneer and Delacroix stood upon. She took a moment to study the crowd, before reaching towards some lights in the back of the hall, crushing them with a force grip. It made a suitable light show at least. If her distraction works. She'd reach out towards the tome, and yank it into her hands, before sprinting towards the door, and exit to this place. Of course, now she had to extract through the guards, and with all these powerful people around, but so long as there wasn't another force user in the crowd stronger than her? She should make it.

The lights going off didn't concern her in the slightest but the commotion of the chaos in the audience pulled her attention away just long enough for the thief to seize her prize, Sabine wheeled about when she felt the book disappear from her finger tips, should Aliza look back in the piercing blackness she would see a pair of blue eyes shining brightly in the dark as if she could see her plain as day. Because she could. From the shadows two figures emerged beside her. Aliza would be too far to hear but as soon as quickly as the shapes appeared they seemingly vanished.

The local security was incompetent at best, that would have to be dealt with later for now she wanted that book back a low hiss escaped her lips as turned away from where Aliza ran, she didn't know the young woman in short order should know everything about her and should she go to ground she will burn anything she might use as a hiding place. Aliza would make it past security with relative easy but she would have this unmistakable feeling she was being followed. At the first opportunity to have her isolated a pair of assailants would attack silently and without warning her only warning would the snap-hiss of activating lightsabers followed by that familiar crimson glow.

The two weren't very strong but they served as Sabine's eyes, and they were abnormally swift and agile way above human standards, clad in all black and their faces shrouded. Should Aliza survive the surprise attack they would simply fade into shadows. A male voice called out "You made a powerful enemy tonight child. Pray to whomever you will." The attack was called off, but why? She would gain a sense that she was no longer being followed.

Aliza was pleased to note that she seemed to take everyone by surprise, though the dark presence watching her did send a prickle up her spine. At least it seemed she was getting away with a minimum of issue... or so she thought, a slug thrower threw up a bit of dirt to her left once she got outside. Apparently one of the guards was mildly competent. She started to use the force to push herself faster, zig zagging and relying on her danger sense. She had zero intention of getting into a fight and tied down so they could ID her or capture her. Of course, if they knew anyone in the Medjai Order then it wouldn't be to hard to learn where the armored figure lived, since only one teacher at the academy wore her armor style.

Once she was out of sight, she'd slow down a bit, and return to force stealthing her way across town, drawing a cloak of mundanity about herself, she was pretty sure she'd gotten away scott free... Until about half a kilometer from the temple two crimson blades sprang into existence as she took a shortcut through an alleyway. Her own violet blade sprang into being. And a defensive weave of Niman's style surrounded her as she attempted to slam one of her foes into a wall. Unfortunately, it was only a short clash, and while her defenses where strong, you didn't win a fight on the defense.

After their cryptic warning. She sighed and looked off into the darkness. Not much point to stealthing about if they could follow her anyway, as such, she dropped her cloak and headed for the one safe place she knew. She wanted to learn what this tome had to offer her, and she could only do that from the safety of her office. Once at the Temple, she nodded to a couple of familiar faces, students, comrades in arms, or fellow teachers. And made a short trip up to her office. When she arrived, she sighed, and removed her helm with a smile of relief before opening the door to walk inside...

UG850b6.jpg

As soon as the door behind her, she would feel the tome ripped from her hands it started to move away from her as a figure emerged from the shadows crossed the small office to the desk and placed it in a pale white hand that was waiting patiently. She sat quietly flipping through the first few pages, completely unconcerned about the thief for the moment. She let out an audible sigh. "It's a fake as I suspected. Eliminate them" with those words the one who was at her side simply vanished from sight.

She turned her the chair around to face the young woman, amber eyes full of anger bored into her from across the room. She simply lifted a hand and motioned Aliza to come with a single finger. "So what did you think you accomplished tonight. You would steal a tome with some of the most powerful Sith Magics and get away clean? Can you even read High Sith?"

She spoke again but this time in the ancient high Sith tongue. "J'us tuti uk tu'iyia sosûtudorju'ia"

Leaning back in the chair she pondered. "What am I to do with you, can't kill you that would raise too many questions with the Ascendancy. I am really not wanting a knock down drag out with Metus. You know how many would die from that? Quite messy indeed. What do you teach anyways? Hopefully not strategic planning. I would give you a failing grade personally." in fact she already knew everything about Aliza, on her way over she called her contacts within both the Ascendancy and the Sith Empire or whatever it was called these days, by the time she had come to the temple she knew the woman's life story. She tapped her chin as she pondered her own question. While thinking her comm beeped. "Darth Phral, its done the auction has been sanitized" A smile touched her lips as she directed her attention to Aliza "Oh dear, looks like somebody broke into the auction and murdered everyone. How unfortunate, they probably tried to swindle the wrong person is my guess. Too bad there are no survivors to interrogate." She canted her head slightly as she regarded Aliza. "So Aliza Vale" she stood from Aliza's chair and walked up to her. A pale hand reached up and gently patted her cheek. "What am I to do with you?"

If Aliza knew her history she would know the name Darth Phral, after all she had carried that name nearly four-thousand years since the great galactic war.

Aliza tilted her head and then sighed. Of course. The scuffle had been meant to slow her down. How could she be so stupid? Well, no point in hiding now. She dropped her force cloak, letting the powerfull core of energy at the base of her being well forth. It wasn't really, that significant, compared to a Darth's power, but at least she was not an apprentice. Folding her arms she says calmly. "I teach telekinetics and defensive manuevering." Stated as she looked into the shadows for more of this woman's supporters. Clearly this person had a power base... And she did not. That was the true difference between a Lord and a Darth. As for high sith, she shook her head. "I cannot. The library here however has many resources. To be honest, I was hoping the tome would teach me more of sorcery itself." That was her chosen discipline, even though very few people had bothered to educate her in the least. And her research... hadn't been any more enlightening. She was at a dead end at present. And the news that the tome was fake lead to a sigh of annoyance. "And another dead end."

Pausing a moment, she looked towards Phral. "Literally, perhaps?" Her hand moved to the saber at her hip. She may not stand a chance against the woman, but she was all to used to that. All of her Masters, and many of her foes during her training had been stronger than her in a stand up fight. But she was also fairly adaptable so maybe could surprise the woman. Though, the name, Aliza Vale... that lead to her teeth pressing tightly. Aliza didn't use that name around the temple. She went by Cinis here. Which meant not only had she been identified, but she'd been completely stripped of her cover.

Stepping forward towards the woman, she frowns, light blue gaze flicking up and down over the woman, tension coiled within her, controlled emotion simmering at just beneath the surface, ready to be unleashed at the slightest flicker of danger sense. Coming to a halt a pace away, her eyes flickered as the hand touches her cheek. "Do? I suppose that depends, it seems we've both lost what we wanted. Though, I'd prefer not to die today, if that's an option."

Darth Phral... Sadly she wasn't aware of that name. Though there where a multitude of reasons that could be true. Particularly the whole, time displacement issue that had tossed her from one end of history to the other. It was a bit of a head spinner at times. Looking straight into those glowing eyes she says. "I don't think I've heard that name before." In fact, she was positive of it. Because she had spent most of her time fighting with the Ascendancy since her arrival here. It was only recently, with the building of the temple, that she'd gone back to her base desires to teach and tutor other young minds.

UG850b6.jpg

Sabine hadn't cared that her hand fell to her saber, in fact if she hadn't she might have worried she was losing her edge. Sabine took a step back from Aliza and leaned against the desk. "Sorcery. If you want to learn wave your hands around and chant spooky things the Nightsisters are much easier than a tome. But then, you wanted a different type of sorcery hrm? The kind Jedi only think they understand. The kind that reaches into the darkest parts of the force." she picked up the tome from the desk and held it out in front of her, all at once without a word a black flame engulfed the book and it exploded like a piñata showing the room in paper like confetti. She dropped what remained of the false tome to the ground.

"That aside, as I stated I wont kill you because of the inconvenience it would be to me. And not to worry, I will keep your secrets." as she spoke about they both lost out she sighed in reluctant agreement. "Indeed you are correct, neither of us did get what we wanted." She shook her head as she didn't recognize who she was. "Well it's not surprising, its a name from the past not many know who I am these days. I am quite content to keep it that way. As for you, stick to your teaching and don't cross me again and we won't have any need to repeat this discussion. Next time will not be as cordial."

Aliza frowned, watching the book be destroyed, she tilts her head. "Force crush?" She mutters to herself, but no... it had also exploded everywhere. "What was that." She asks finally. Then at the mention that Phral might leave she narrowed her eyes. "You quite obviously know far more on this subject than I do. What will it take to gain knowledge from you." She turned and attempted to move towards the door, not quiet, stepping into Phral's way. But obviously she wasn't done with the conversation. Teaching was fulfilling yes. But there was an old saying, 'Those who can't do, teach.' Well, Aliza still had many years to go, and if the claim of 4000 years of life was true, then Phral knew how to make those years even greater in number. She wasn't quiet, salivating at the thought of all the secrets the woman must know. But there was an edge, to her mind. A silent warning that if Phral left, Aliza would not stop searching for her, nor attempting to delve into her secrets and claim the knowledge she had.

Of course... She had a feeling an apprenticeship to this woman wouldn't be like the ones before. Even if that option was on the table, Phral had servants and followers already. She'd constantly have to watch her back for betrayal, but really... that wasn't so bad. It would sharpen her up. Aliza had gotten far to lax now that she didn't have fellow apprentices constantly trying to crush her under their heel. Light blue gaze looked towards the door, and then turned back to Phral. "I will do, literally, anything. To learn what you know." And no, she was not joking. Aliza had suffered through multiple trials in her time as an apprentice, even more as an acolyte. And the dry, arid desert of fresh knowledge now that she was a Lord, was a trail in and of itself. There's only so much tinkering, and adjustment one can do with existing knowledge and techniques before an obvious plateau was reached... Which she had.

UG850b6.jpg

A soft chuckle escaped her lips listening to the surprise of the woman. "We do love to label and categorize things don't we? I am not sure if it has a name per-se at least not one you could pronounce. But if it did I would call it force destruction." she hadn't expected the change in the young woman to be so quick, so desperate. Perhaps this detail intrigued her the most. The white haired woman for the first time began studying Aliza, bring her right hand up Sabine gently tapped her own cheek as she pondered.

"And what makes you think you are deserving of what I know. I have not had an apprentice in nearly four millennia what makes you special?" she listened as the woman continued to plead her case, her face betrayed nothing, on the outside she was passively listening and internally she was studying Aliza scrutinizing every minor tick and shift of her body. "And why are you so desperate for that power? Fancy yourself the next Emperor, the next Dominus? To what end will you use my knowledge?"

She walked a few paces from the woman, not a move toward the door but rather setting up a challenge. "Impress me." she lifted a hand beckoning the young woman to attack her. "Show me your strength and your resolve. But most of all your mind." she lifted a single hand to her defense as if saying that was all she needed to beat Aliza, her lightsaber still clasped to her belt beneath the black flowing robes. "You are Sith, take what you want"

Aliza tilts her head, listening to Phral's words. She shook her head. "All those positions do is put a massive target on my back. I'm not very good at straight up combat. It would be suicide to fancy myself in those positions." Stated softly. As for the end goal... "I think I would prefer to fade into the shadows. Conduct my research in private, and then share my knowledge. Too, it might make some of the threats facing the Ascendancy easier to handle. To be honest, I'm probably the weakest in straight up combat of the Sith in the Ascendancy." Stated plainly and without reservation.

Aliza listened to the challenge offered. If Phral was anything like her last master her best wasn't going to be good enough. But maybe she could sneak in a surprise. She reached down to a compartment in one gauntlet, nudging it open subtly as she reached out to the metallic paneling of her office walls. She winced at what she was about to do... Aliza had actually lectured some students about damaging the gift that the temple represented to their order. And here she was about to destroy her office.

There was an audible crunch that filled the room, along with other sounds of ripped bolts and sundered metal. All the paneling she was grasping flew towards her at shocking speed, before being pulled into her orbit. She set the metal to spinning both around her, and around it's center of mass. Forming primitive saw-blades of a sort. This got around things like a force canceling field, which is why she'd come up with this approach. Her former master had forced her to think outside the box... and now Phral got to be on the receiving end of those adaptations.

As the stream of metal flew towards the woman at a lethal pace, she let the kyber crystal drop into her left hand from the compartment in her guantlet, meanwhile her mind suddenly lashes out towards Phral, attempting to delve into her conciousness and blind the woman temporarily, if it worked, which was doubtfull, she'd keep it simple, just a field of white in the woman's vision while the metal started to arrive... and the Kyber crystal quietly joined the stream of material being flung about her office.

She listened as Aliza spoke, her eyes focused and unconcerned in regard to the scraping and groaning of the metal sheeting as it was ripped from the walls, Sabine however made no attempt to pre-empt her she was indeed preparing for the woman's attack, she didn't know what she would try but telekinesis she had revealed earlier so it was fair to expect her to lean to something that she knew well, that was safe. An audible scoff escaped her lips as the metal flew toward her, she simultaneously felt the intrusion in her mind. Aliza would suddenly feel as if somebody had just slammed her head into the wall as a consequence to trying to enter her mind.

"I said impress me not bore me!" she barked as the metal sheets halted in front of her, as if proving her point she waved her hand sending the metal sheets careening into the wall where they then erupted into black flame and much like the tome earlier shattered in an ear splitting sound. The temperature in the room began to drop rapidly Aliza would soon be able to see her breath at the rapid decrease the cold was simply a manifestation of how much dark side energy Sabine had begun channeling that is was now drawing the warmth from the room, whatever she was planning was going to hurt.

Aliza reached up and outwards, driving the metal stream harder towards Phral. It may look like she was doubling down on a failing strategy... but suddenly there would be a purple crystal, much the same as the one housed within her own blade. It was even atuned to the want to be sorceress. As such, it would be harder to deny this attack. Maybe the crystal looked innocent and miniscule as a threat, but suddenly there would be a lashing of rage from Aliza's side of the room, blue sparks would fly between the gloved fingers of her left hand, and then with a crackling roar a short, concise burst of lightning would streak towards the crystal. If it connected, Phral would abruptly have a multi faceted nova of lightsaber blades erupting into her face. And with that, whether it worked or not... The metal would drift to the ground, and she would sway slightly on her feet. Obviously Aliza had over extended herself with even that short burst of lightning on top of everything else. But she didn't faint. And she didn't say anything to ask for mercy. No... the woman just held her ground and awaited Phral's verdict on her attempt to attack her. She'd used every one of her best attacks in that single exertion... it was time to see if the adaptations proved sufficient to impress or not.

UG850b6.jpg

Her eyes hadn't seen the crystal gliding through the air, focusing so much on shards of metal she was redirecting away from here. However before Sabine could make her displeasure known at the continued 'boring' attack her eye caught a glint of the crystal. Tthe realization hit her as the first peal of lightning arced toward her. Her left hand continued to hold back any remaining metal while her other hand solidified the force around her, it would not hold long but it long enough. All the energy she had gathered suddenly changed and Sabine slapped her hands together in one quick movement.

Seemingly the innocuous gesture did nothing, until all the sudden it was as if the entire room was dead to the force. Metal fell to the floor with a ear splitting sound, the lightning began to fade as for the crystal that familiar black flame engulfed it and shattered it to pieces before it could do any real harm. Sabine straightened herself and canted her head slightly to look at Aliza. She walked calmly over to the woman and grabbed her arm, effortlesly lifting her back to her feet.

"Congratulations, you passed. Not only was your strategy unorthodox you made me use two hands. To be honest, my first apprentice didn't even manage that. Although to be fair, I was not as strong as I am now, so your feat is a bit more impressive I would say." to say Sabine was now interested in the young woman would be an understatement, the vampirika placed her gently into a chair in a more motherly way than anything else and began to restore Aliza's force and stamina.

Aliza had been anticipating some sort of force canceling defense, that's why she had so many adaptations on her attacks by this point. She had to, with the greater power differential she routinely was exposed to during training. However, she was NOT expecting the force to be cut off from the whole room. She went from swaying, to black out unconscious and then crumbled to the floor as her Force Body was canceled as well, it had been unconsciously sustaining her, and without that? She didn't even have the chance to see the outcome of her attack.

The next thing she knew, the woman was helping her up, and into a chair. She smiles softly. "Oh good. I was worried it would be to boring." Her eyes flickered playfully, before looking around for the kyber crystal. "So, did it go off or..." No crystal, but also no scouring in the floor to mark the blades damage. "Huh. Guess not." She mutters, after staring at the floor for a second where it should've gone off. Aliza then looked around the room and sighs. "Now I don't have a leg to stand on where troublesome apprentices fighting in the halls is." Twitching her nose in displeasure.

With the wash of energy over her she sighed faintly and muttered. "That feels almost as good as a healing trance." With a chuckle. "Though faster it seems." Now... where did Aliza learn to use a healing trance, or even the force stun she'd used previously at the auction. Then she added. "I should add that I am a Lord, I doubt your previous apprentice was that experienced when you conducted this exercise previously."

UG850b6.jpg

Sabine let out a short laugh as she finished restoring Aliza's power to her. "You my dear were not boring, you did well. and No, when I sensed the kyber crystal I destroyed it." The corner of her mouth turned up in a smile at her talking about her students fighting in the halls. "Ah just blame it on an unruly guest, or say a student got a bad grade or something. Do they get graded?" she shrugged as she stood and took a step back from Aliza and crossed her arms over her chest with a chuckle "Right you are. When you are as old as I am you tend to see everyone as children regardless of their age, ability or rank." She stretched out a but before moving her arms to her sides then. "Well then, satisfactory performance means you get what you want. I will teach you sorcery. My knowledge goes deep however, and some of it is, well to put it simply too dangerous to teach."

She paused "I cannot have you calling me Darth Phral all the time, my name is Sabine Delacroix. As for you, what would you have me call you? I assume Aliza is out of the question." she raised an eyebrow slightly as if expecting a retort. Sabine for al her power and strength might be confused as being carefree but in fact she had a public face she wore at all times, very few times did that mask slip, and seldom was it removed.

Teaching at the Medjai Order Temple on Verun
Aliza laughed softly. "They get graded, but really only one thing matters, if they can survive their peers attentions. I do my best to teach them, but if they lack the brains or power?" She shrugs. Moving on from the topic, Alize said. "Aliza is fine. I usually go by Lady Cinis in the temple though." Twitching her nose before looking at the demolished office. "If a student could do this much damage..." Grinning faintly. "They wouldn't need to worry about me at least." Aliza had many weaknesses, many of which she was aware of. Some she was not. But she sought to fix those weaknesses on a regular basis too. At the mention that she was going to be trained, she smiled happily. "Yes Lady Sabine." She muses. Then flicks her eyes up to meet amber gaze. "So is your home close to here or..." She motions at the temple, obviously she felt a bit duty bound, but also... she wanted to learn. Maybe she could ask for a leave of absence for research. It wouldn't be the first time she'd done such a thing in her lifetime.
