ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Meditation Chamber
  • Training Hall
  • Medical Bay (w/ Medical Droid attendant)
  • Cargo Bay (Large enough to support storage of speeder bikes, OR small landspeeder)
  • Archive Server w/ holonet access points
  • Integrated Astromech Droid
  • Impervium plating
  • Molecular Shields
  • Twin Quad Barrel Turrets (Dorsal Mount)
  • Twin Quad Barrel Turrets (Ventral Mount)
  • Proton Torpedo Launcher x2 (Capacity x6 per barrel (Nose mount, below bridge))
  • Fixed-mount Quad Laser barrels x2 (Mounted at front of engine pylons)
Strengths:
  • Gunboat: The Legacy has teeth. It's not afraid to use them.
  • Impervium: The ship requires a beating before it begins to show signs of damage.
  • Molecular shields: Plasma damage taken is absorbed and converted to energy to overcharge the ship's own laser banks.
  • Mini Temple: The Legacy has all the internal amenities that a student of the Force would require, from archives to a training room to a meditation chamber.
  • Droid Hookup: The Legacy can be piloted by a sentient being, or by an integrated Astromech droid in the absence of a trained pilot.
  • Minimal crew: The Ship is designed to run on minimal crew, allowing the apprentice utilizing the vessel the solitude they may desire.
  • Iso-5: The Ship is powered by an Iso-5 core, providing ample power for the Shields, Weapons, and minimal fuel requirements otherwise, only requiring resupplies every few months, rather than every few days.
Weaknesses:
  • Big: The Ship classifies as a Corvette from its size alone, meaning that its maneuverability is somewhat diminished.
  • Iso-5 Core: The ship doesn't have spare Iso cores. If the existing core is damaged, the ship will be rendered inert until the core is replaced.
  • Gun Mounts: The turret mounts result in only two turrets being able to effectively fire across the broadside.
  • Minimal Crew: The drawback of having a minimal crew means that maintenance issues may not always be within the crew's capabilities to fix on the field.
  • Sweet Spot: The laser cannons on the engine pylons are tilted to meet at a "sweet spot" in the front of the ship. They are inaccurate against small targets at any range besides this one.
Description:

The Legacy of Dawn is a modification on the Aquila cruiser, resulting in a slightly larger vessel. The Legacy is not a support vessel, however, instead acting as a personal Corvette for Voph's apprentice, beginning with Seaja Linata. Armed to the teeth with laser cannons, the Legacy is able to fend off most star fighter attacks, but in spite of the addition of twin torpedo pylons is unable to stand its ground against ships larger than it. Bearing in mind that it was to serve as both home and transport to his apprentice, Voph designed the ship will all the facilities his apprentice may require, including a training dojo stocked with training droids, an archive server, and a meditation chamber. Also recognizing that his apprentice would not be devoted solely to his teachings, additional quarters were included, so that his apprentice might house friends or allies during their travels.

The rest of the ship is a simple yet comfortable living space (Save for the mechanical domains of the ship). Featuring a lounge, kitchen, dining hall/meeting room, and observation deck, the ship makes for a higher standard of living than some planetary apartments. While the ship does feature minimal decoration, it has been left largely bare, allowing the apprentice to arrange the interior how they see fit. As with all Octarchy Covenant vessels, the Legacy of Dawn features a state of the art Hyperdrive, capable of propelling the ship at immense speeds through the realm of hyperspace, allowing it to reach its destination quickly and efficiently. The sleek white exterior of the ship is unmarred, save for an emblem emblazoned on the sides, marking the vessel as one operating under the authority of the Family of Verros.
