Senator of Threnan
Naboo truly was a lovely planet, in fact it reminded Loris of some of the places on his homeworld. With this being where the Senate Building was located, he had no issues finding it a comfortable place to stay. He was currently sorting out his office in the building, like all Senators have. It didn't have much in it, just some shelves with wooden carvings, a tapestry on the wall, and a picture of his home village on the desk.
It felt daunting, being in the building. Despite being one of the oldest of his kind, he felt like a young and inexperienced amateur in the stage he now found himself. He had recently become his people's first representative in the Senate, and as such was still somewhat of a novice in galactic politics and relations, having only been a negotiator and representative on a much smaller scale. He had decided he needed to learn of his new peers and their views before he knew how to go about helping his people.
He wanted his people to have good relations with the rest of the galaxy, trading natural resources on their planet (such as fruits and other exotic flora that the Raggidolls didn't require to survive) with other species, such as materials from others. He hoped that such trades may help his people feel more connected to the rest of the galaxy, using materials from other planets for their future generations to demonstrate such connections. Although, at the moment, he couldn't help but feel like he was both overthinking things and underselling them simultaneously, feeling these were simply the over-ambitious thoughts of a new Senator new to the craft.
He decided for now not to dwell on it, as now he wished to meet some of his peers. Looking at the time, he assumed there may be some in the cafeteria having lunch, so he decided to head there. He hoped he could do right by his people, and that required him to learn of politics to a higher degree, as well as learn of other politicians themselves.
