PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Cursed/blessed with a quick growth, she was usually the tallest girl of her group of friends. Sometimes taller even than the boys. As an adult woman, the rest of her body has finally grown to match her height. No longer a skinny, lanky girl, she's now a proper adult with an athletic figure and firm muscles. She keeps her hair short and often wears black and purple for no reason, other than they are her favorite colors. A warrior has to look good at all times, right.

INVENTORY

  • Lightsaber (orange)
  • Vibro daggers (x4)
  • Clothes

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

While she is a member of Hapan nobility, living away from that lifestyle rarely affected her. For most of her life she had no idea who her father was, despite much begging, bribing and demanding with her mother. Still, with only her mother to guide her, she quickly learned how to survive the dangers of royalty, and, eventually with her father, she learned how to live, to fight, to study... and how to fear the dark side. But if the Light side is so superior, why did it not protect them?

She struggles to be good in a galaxy full of several shades of gray. Perhaps... a little crime here and a little sin there will be acceptable. For the greater good, right?

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

Close Combat Her fighting style relies on speed and flexibility, flowing from one movement to the next.
Weaponsmith She took a liking to the creation and maintenance of lightsabers.
Sneaky It started as a way to avoid attention from her mad teachers, but as it turns out, she has a talent for this.
Technology At first, it was a way to slice droids for more food and snacks. But she understands technology very well.
Linguist She can read, write and understand it, but might speak other languages with an accent.

Royalty The good and the bad. She was trained to be a noble, to always be regal, to never show weakness... but also to trust no one, to have plans against everyone, to expected, and to prepare, blackmail material...
Light vs Dark What if both sides are bad?
Strong willed She's stubborn, strong-headed, determined, arrogant... call it however you want, it's not easy to get into her mind.
Hapan The famous race of beauty and night blindness. And probably one of the deadliest political scenarios in the galaxy.

Bad piloting She can work on a ship's computers, she can slice it, she can read the blueprints... but the actual piloting is tricky for her. Maybe if she uses the Force she can bring her negative skill to an impressive average...
Vanity Probably the Hapan in her, but she likes to keep herself and her gear well-kept and clean.
Suspicious How to trust others? How to make new friends when she's always waiting for them to betray her?

HISTORY

A Noble mother had relationships with a Jedi when they met aboard a ship, each part of their own group, to discuss something important. Diplomacy and politics probably, I was never told the details, and it doesn't matter anymore. The meeting itself lasted for a few days, which means they had plenty of time together to sneak away to... make me.

And, surprise surprise, a few months later I was born. To hide the identity of my father, Mother made a deal with another noble family so they could pretend I was the daughter of one of them, and for a while everything was at relative peace.

By peace, I mean the concept of peace for a Hapan royal family: the occasional assassination attempt, gossip, more assassinations, bodyguards, bodyguards and bodyguards, and the eventual realization I had to be sent away. I argued, of course, but Mother and Foster Father (who wasn't so bad after all), set up an accident to pretend I was killed to set the royalty at ease. Apparently my life kept some of them from reaching power due to the lines of succession. "It is nothing personal" an assassin once said, before my father shot her down.

Goodbye Hapan. Hello Jedi camp. Father's camp, to be more precise, was made of Jedi who had... different ideas. They were a minority among the Jedi, and by acting in small groups they escaped their notice for a while. Apparently, Mother kept in contact with Father, and kept it a secret from me. The betrayal. And because I was a force sensitive, Father kept trying to convince her to send me to him for years. Something, something lineage.

Now, this group of odd Jedi preached peace between the Light and the Dark, that every living being can choose and keep the Balance perfectly, given enough time and education. So their main action was to spread all knowledge, the good and the bad, and teach others until the knowledge came knocking into their brains.

It... clearly did not last long, because the whole 'the Dark side is just part of life for everyone' doesn't work very well in practice. And they never had enough funding to properly teach it to large groups, thus, they were never seen as a big threat by the powers of the galaxy.

They kept trying to get support from governments, staying away from the Jedi Orders, keeping their camp small... turns out they were trying to start something perfectly balanced between Jedi and Sith, to achieve inner peace every group needs a lot of credits.

Time skip to a few years and the camp was filled with arguments and political division. My life was an absolute mess, and I couldn't even contact my mother or escape because someone had the brilliant idea of removing vital components of the ships to keep everyone stranded. Only a few select members were allowed to leave, and they were the most 'sincere-looking' and charismatic individuals of the bunch. Their task was to spy and to acquire support, but after years of selling their lies to enough people, it was harder and harder to secure proper funding.

Even the Orders, Sith and Jedi, were paying attention to them now. This little group had an idea of world peace, and it was failing. Terribly.

My father, who used to be a busy, but caring man, was now obsessed with achieving a breakthrough before his 'rivals', who used to be his friends. Everyone wanted to save the galaxy, but no one could agree on the How. And the apprentices, like me, had to survive somehow. Some tried to be loyal to their crazy masters, others tried to join other apprentices for mutual support. At some point, I kind of became the 'Apprentice Master', and everyone sought me.

Don't ask me how. I just learned how to hack the kitchen droids and gave out food to others.

But one day that beautiful camp ate itself out. Turns out, there is a good reason for the Jedi to not preach the Dark side of the force and for the Sith to be careful with it. Who knew. The group of 50 (51 with me) discovered that and paid the price of having too much power without rules.

Father killed everyone else in a mad bid for power and supremacy. And I killed him to protect myself and the few survivors. It was self-defense. Right?

The other survivors died a little after aboard our ship, without the proper healthcare to survive their wounds. And I... threw their bodies into a sun and flew back. Picked a new name. Set that cursed camp on fire. And left. Allut Leral was dead, and Lea Clay was born, free to live her life.
